Any tools, anything that I recommend will be there also.
00:01:31.750 --> 00:01:38.150
So let me set a few things up here because I'm getting a little bit of an echo, but I think we're good to go.
00:01:38.390 --> 00:01:41.590
Today we have a very interesting podcast.
00:01:41.750 --> 00:01:43.590
It's all about content creation.
00:01:43.750 --> 00:01:44.949
Yes, I know.
00:01:45.189 --> 00:01:53.189
That is something that really causes a lot of people stress about looking at a blank screen screen and trying to figure out what should I produce?
00:01:53.349 --> 00:01:54.229
What should I create?
00:01:54.390 --> 00:01:55.349
Does it really matter?
00:01:55.509 --> 00:01:57.509
Are people going to my website reading it?
00:01:57.670 --> 00:01:59.430
Are they reading the social posts?
00:01:59.670 --> 00:02:06.069
And it could be very, very difficult to get through week to week with content creation.
00:02:06.390 --> 00:02:08.710
I really love to simplify everything.
00:02:08.870 --> 00:02:11.909
I love to simplify and use strategies.
00:02:12.069 --> 00:02:20.710
So the time that you sit down to do work is going to be very strategic, and you're going to get the most for the time you invest.
00:02:21.110 --> 00:02:28.390
And so that is my goal with each podcast episode, blog post is to help you think out of the box.
00:02:28.550 --> 00:02:42.390
And sometimes we have to be a little bit of a disruptor, go against the grain, so to speak, not follow necessarily trends, but think about your audience and your business and what fits best for you.
00:02:42.629 --> 00:02:46.310
Sometimes the status quo is not the best thing for you.
00:02:46.469 --> 00:02:51.189
So I'm a bit of a disruptor simply because I've done it the way people have told me to do it.
00:02:51.269 --> 00:02:53.349
And it simply didn't work for my audience.
00:02:53.430 --> 00:02:54.870
And so I've learned the hard way.
00:02:54.949 --> 00:03:05.269
And as I break through and think out of the box and think strategically about my audience and the message I want to put out, everything started falling into place.
00:03:05.430 --> 00:03:07.669
And it was a lot more fun to create content.
00:03:07.909 --> 00:03:09.750
So today we're going to look at this.
00:03:09.909 --> 00:03:18.310
And one of the things that I want to share right off the cuff is a couple of things that I feel I go kind of against the grain.
00:03:18.549 --> 00:03:20.870
So I want to give you some examples of this.
00:03:21.109 --> 00:03:23.030
But here's my promise to you today.
00:03:23.269 --> 00:03:29.349
I want you to have unparalleled clarity after you listen to this podcast.
00:03:29.590 --> 00:03:33.269
I want you to be able to improve your content creation plan.
00:03:33.509 --> 00:03:35.590
I don't want you to be stressed about it.
00:03:35.829 --> 00:03:38.629
I want you to be able to produce it.
00:03:38.710 --> 00:03:47.669
And it's going to be so targeted and it's going to be so aligned to your audience that it's going to captivate, it's going to resonate, and it's going to inspire your community.
00:03:47.829 --> 00:03:55.990
And so that's going to mean more clicks, more people that'll want to join your community and be part of your email subscriber list.
00:03:56.310 --> 00:03:59.269
And those people will become warm prospects.
00:03:59.430 --> 00:04:08.469
So some of the things that are unconventional that I do is I just decided, first of all, to forget the content calendar.
00:04:08.629 --> 00:04:10.150
That would drive me crazy.
00:04:10.389 --> 00:04:19.829
Write a content calendar for 90 days and think of everything you can think of and put it on the content calendar and just produce it and like clockwork, see what's there, and produce it.
00:04:19.990 --> 00:04:28.710
And it was almost like, well, remove the thinking part and just create these topics and these posts according to this calendar.
00:04:28.870 --> 00:04:31.509
That felt very restrictive to me.
00:04:31.750 --> 00:04:38.470
And there's some benefits to creating a calendar or let's say scheduling posts.
00:04:38.710 --> 00:04:46.949
But I like the organic way of being inspired and letting that take you on a rabbit trail to more posts that you can schedule.
00:04:47.110 --> 00:04:49.750
And here's what happens when you do that.
00:04:49.910 --> 00:05:02.230
The spontaneity can inject some freshness to your posts when you give yourself some margin to be spontaneous, maybe around current events that are going on.
00:05:02.389 --> 00:05:10.629
You can't do that if you have a content calendar telling you what to post, and you want to produce something that maybe is relevant for the time today.
00:05:10.790 --> 00:05:22.709
And so you're going to there's going to be a disconnect because other people will be posting about relevant topics that are happening or circumstances that are happening in the world, and you're going to be posting according to your content calendar.
00:05:22.949 --> 00:05:40.469
So there's some benefit to scheduling, but to try to push out and line up exactly what you're going to say for 90 days or even six months, it's hard to know what's going to be top of mind in four months or in five months or even in six months.
00:05:40.709 --> 00:05:44.790
Spawn Naty can inject some freshness and authenticity to your posts.
00:05:44.949 --> 00:05:48.949
So that's one of the things that I don't follow rigidly.
00:05:49.189 --> 00:05:52.709
I like to schedule posts, and I think that's a great plan.
00:05:53.110 --> 00:06:03.430
But once you schedule some posting, you have some posts already scheduled ahead, that gives you the flexibility to be able to sit down and think of some creative things.
00:06:03.589 --> 00:06:07.909
Think out of the box, be spontaneous in what you want to share.
00:06:08.230 --> 00:06:12.870
The second thing is don't avoid controversy.
00:06:13.269 --> 00:06:15.350
Look at something that's being said.
00:06:15.430 --> 00:06:25.670
And if you don't agree with it, and you have maybe good logic behind it, or maybe you have some experience or some stats behind it, bring another point of view.
00:06:25.829 --> 00:06:37.750
It's not that necessarily you're saying that those people are wrong or that statistic is wrong, but you're saying, on the other hand, this can happen too, because not everything is an absolute for every business.
00:06:37.909 --> 00:06:38.790
It's just not.
00:06:39.029 --> 00:06:45.110
You have to really figure out who the business is because what works for one is not going to necessarily work for the other.
00:06:45.269 --> 00:06:56.629
And I work for independent ventures, solopreneurs that have maybe three to less on their team and are in the beginning stages, maybe the first three years.
00:06:56.870 --> 00:07:02.310
Now I have another vertical for larger businesses that need a copywriter, but that's totally different.
00:07:02.389 --> 00:07:04.709
And those usually come through referrals.
00:07:05.029 --> 00:07:09.670
But the messaging and the approach that I have is different for both of those.
00:07:09.990 --> 00:07:18.790
So when I say don't avoid controversy, just because you see something and you think, well, I have an opinion on that, it's okay to post that.
00:07:18.949 --> 00:07:20.949
It's okay to share your opinion.
00:07:21.110 --> 00:07:27.750
In fact, it's great for people to have two sides of a story so they can make a more informed decision.
00:07:27.990 --> 00:07:29.110
So don't avoid that.
00:07:29.189 --> 00:07:36.389
And that could be very interesting to hear a different side rather than the same old, same old, same old that we hear everybody regurgitate.
00:07:37.110 --> 00:07:43.829
The third point that I like to be a disruptor in is write longer pieces of content.
00:07:44.069 --> 00:07:48.949
Everybody says, write short, write short, make the videos super short, make them under a minute.
00:07:49.029 --> 00:07:49.829
And I've done those.
00:07:49.990 --> 00:07:59.350
I've done those videos under a minute for promoting podcasts, but they tell us that everyone has the attention span of a fish.
00:07:59.589 --> 00:08:03.509
I don't know, but I don't have the attention span of a fish, right?
00:08:03.670 --> 00:08:11.269
If the content isn't aligned, then maybe they're not interested and their attention span is not there.
00:08:11.589 --> 00:08:17.110
But to tell people that you have the attention span of a fish, I don't know, that's kind of insulting, right?
00:08:17.269 --> 00:08:20.230
And I think people appreciate longer pieces of content.
00:08:20.389 --> 00:08:29.110
There's some people that love video, and if you try to write a blog post that's longer, they're not going to be interested because they like to consume content in video form.
00:08:29.350 --> 00:08:33.269
There's others that like to consume content in podcasts, in audio form.
00:08:33.430 --> 00:08:34.950
They'll listen to audiobooks.
00:08:35.110 --> 00:08:40.950
But there's definitely people who love to read, and they love to read articles.
00:08:41.190 --> 00:08:47.190
So when you look at the different demographics, you have to figure out what my audience really want to see.
00:08:47.509 --> 00:08:54.950
And if they want to see articles, then by all means, go ahead and write a long article, regardless of what everybody else is saying.
00:08:55.110 --> 00:08:59.430
I know my husband, that's all he does is read articles on the internet.
00:08:59.750 --> 00:09:01.190
He doesn't like these short things.
00:09:01.350 --> 00:09:05.590
He likes meaty articles where he can get some value out of a post.
00:09:05.830 --> 00:09:08.950
So longer pieces of content is not taboo.
00:09:09.189 --> 00:09:12.789
So consider these three of my disruptors.
00:09:13.029 --> 00:09:17.590
Forget the content calendar and don't put yourself in a corner.
00:09:17.830 --> 00:09:20.629
Leave room for some spontaneity, some flexibility.
00:09:20.789 --> 00:09:23.029
Second, don't avoid controversy.
00:09:23.189 --> 00:09:25.509
If you have another side to a story, share it.
00:09:25.750 --> 00:09:31.350
Thirdly, write longer pieces of content if your audience enjoys that.
00:09:31.590 --> 00:09:33.750
Again, we're right back to the audience.
00:09:33.909 --> 00:09:35.269
What does the audience want?
00:09:35.429 --> 00:09:37.269
There aren't really any absolutes.
00:09:37.429 --> 00:09:47.830
When we start saying this is an absolute for everyone, I think that we do a disservice to people because it really does depend on the business and it really does depend on the audience.
00:09:48.149 --> 00:09:50.149
So where do you start?
00:09:50.389 --> 00:09:54.950
Okay, I shared a little bit of my disruptive nature, right?
00:09:55.269 --> 00:09:57.269
Where do you start for content creation?
00:09:57.590 --> 00:10:09.669
Well, if you want to really leverage organic traffic, if you want the content to resonate with your audience, it does not hurt to do a keyword search.
00:10:09.909 --> 00:10:20.549
Now, I'm not one of these that just hangs on keyword searches and is just constantly trying to, you know, make sure that the numbers and the analytics and everything dials in.
00:10:20.710 --> 00:10:27.990
I will do some research in the beginning and I will look for keywords and I will work with those, but I don't get like crazy with it.
00:10:28.070 --> 00:10:30.870
I use it as a launch pad, so to speak.
00:10:31.189 --> 00:10:33.509
So finding keywords.
00:10:34.309 --> 00:10:41.590
Now it's interesting because keywords, and by the word of it, keyword sounds like it's one word, right?
00:10:41.750 --> 00:10:48.230
But if you have a keyword that is just one word, the reach, it's going to be very broad.
00:10:49.189 --> 00:10:57.189
And they have long tail keywords that are two or more words, two to three words.
00:10:57.429 --> 00:11:06.070
So those those specific keywords that are put together in in like three words or more, long tail keywords are more specific.
00:11:06.230 --> 00:11:07.590
Let me give you an example.
00:11:08.950 --> 00:11:13.350
Short tail keyword, one or two words, would be something like AI.
00:11:13.669 --> 00:11:14.549
That would be a keyword.
00:11:14.789 --> 00:11:17.110
And people would think, well, that's a great keyword, AI.
00:11:17.590 --> 00:11:28.389
However, if you begin to put more words to it, say you put two words to it, it's still short, and you say AI tools, there's more specificity.
00:11:28.870 --> 00:11:33.990
And so it helps the reach for those people that are looking for AI tools.
00:11:34.470 --> 00:11:39.590
A long tail keyword would have even more specificity to it.
00:11:39.990 --> 00:11:48.950
Instead of AI, and instead of AI tools, if you say something best free AI tools, that's a long tail keyword.
00:11:49.029 --> 00:11:50.309
That's very specific.
00:11:50.549 --> 00:11:54.470
And you're not going to be competing with everybody else because it's so specific.
00:11:54.629 --> 00:12:03.269
So even with keywords, we want to make sure that we have some long tail keywords so that we really can see what is it that people are interested in.
00:12:03.429 --> 00:12:07.029
And there's many tools that'll help you do this and it'll help you.
00:12:07.189 --> 00:12:10.950
Some of them are for ads, but you can get a lot of insight.
00:12:11.110 --> 00:12:21.029
And so it'll show you if there's a lot of competition for those keywords, and it'll rank it, and it gives you kind of an idea if somebody was going to put an ad into it.
00:12:21.189 --> 00:12:32.870
But we're looking for content creation so we can take whatever information we can find and we can begin to have a list of keywords around our industry that would resonate.
00:12:33.029 --> 00:12:34.230
So why is this important?
00:12:34.389 --> 00:12:43.189
Because when you write it and you put some of these keywords in your header ones on a blog post or in your headline, it will get indexed.
00:12:43.350 --> 00:12:49.669
And even on LinkedIn, a lot of the newsletters get indexed on LinkedIn on Google.
00:12:49.830 --> 00:12:52.549
And so this will help organic reach.
00:12:52.789 --> 00:12:56.389
And so that's why it matters to start with some keywords.
00:12:56.470 --> 00:13:04.789
And the keywords are usually related to some pain point or some struggle that someone has or a problem that they have, and they're trying to find an answer.
00:13:04.950 --> 00:13:08.470
So we're trying to figure out what they are typing in the search bar.
00:13:08.710 --> 00:13:12.309
And these tools, there's Moss keywords, there's some free ones.
00:13:12.549 --> 00:13:15.350
You can go to Google Keyword Planner.
00:13:15.429 --> 00:13:19.990
Um, that is for people that are trying to create ads, but it gives you a good idea of it.
00:13:20.070 --> 00:13:26.950
And it doesn't hurt to go to two or three different keyword search tools to be able to see a variety.
00:13:27.110 --> 00:13:28.710
And there's semi-rush.
00:13:28.950 --> 00:13:32.389
Some of these, um, even though they're free, they give you a limit per day.
00:13:32.549 --> 00:13:41.509
If you're an entrepreneur or solopreneur, that's not really a problem because you're not going to probably be searching more than 10 searches, you know, a day.
00:13:41.830 --> 00:13:49.669
But they probably do that for agencies and others that are handling other clients, and so they limit how many searches you can do per day.
00:13:49.830 --> 00:13:55.990
But there's a lot of them, there's like many of them, and I'll put a list of them in the show notes for you.
00:13:56.149 --> 00:14:07.669
But just off the cuff, Moss Keyword Explorer is one, Google Keyword Planner is another, and Semi-Rush is another, and those are all free keyword search tools, so that can help.
00:14:07.909 --> 00:14:09.509
So, what do we do now?
00:14:09.750 --> 00:14:21.509
We have some keywords, so this is going to be really the plumb line for our content because we want to be able to leverage that keyword search.
00:14:21.830 --> 00:14:30.789
So the step-by-step process, now I want you to listen carefully because you can get kind of lost in this, but it's simple, it's super simple.
00:14:30.950 --> 00:14:32.950
It's just take it one step at a time.
00:14:33.110 --> 00:14:51.750
Once you have the keywords, and I would put it on a document, I would have a running document of keywords so that when you look back at the analytics and you see that wow, this post really did well, you can go back and see what keywords you used.
00:14:51.990 --> 00:14:53.509
So that helps you.
00:14:53.750 --> 00:14:57.350
So I would just track everything for the in, especially in the beginning.
00:14:57.590 --> 00:15:01.750
Make a list of the keywords you're using when you're creating content.
00:15:02.309 --> 00:15:14.950
And so, and you can even put like a the link of where you posted it, whether it's a blog post or if it was on a social media, you could put the link and the keywords that you put in there.
00:15:15.029 --> 00:15:20.149
And that way you can track a little bit and see, you know, what really moved the needle for you.
00:15:20.549 --> 00:15:22.950
So here's a step-by-step process.
00:15:23.590 --> 00:15:30.789
You can take those that keyword and say you want to write some posts around this specific keyword.
00:15:31.029 --> 00:15:33.350
That's when you can use AI tools.
00:15:33.590 --> 00:15:50.870
Now notice you've manually done a lot of work first to just tell AI to write something for your audience and you know you're you tell it what you do, what industry you're in, it's not really going to produce something that necessarily will resonate with your audience.
00:15:51.110 --> 00:16:01.429
But now that you've done a little bit of work and you're looking to maybe, maybe you're looking to bring a different perspective.
00:16:01.590 --> 00:16:08.470
Maybe you want the contrarian approach, or maybe you want to inspire someone or show a how-to.
00:16:08.950 --> 00:16:28.470
Give the AI tool some parameters and tell it using this keyword search tool, this keywords, I want you to list five possible posts for social media or for a blog post, and give me some titles and snippets with just three bullets with each one, what it would contain.
00:16:28.549 --> 00:16:40.629
So give it some parameters as far as posts, potential posts that you could do, short posts like a hook, opening paragraph, three short bullets, and an inspiring close.
00:16:41.029 --> 00:16:48.149
And then what it'll do, it'll take that keyword that you put in there, and the best thing to do is to tell it to write it in your own voice.
00:16:48.389 --> 00:17:14.230
Hopefully, you have done this with your AI tool, whatever AI tool you're using, is take a piece of content that you wrote, have the AI tool analyze it so it understands your voice and your tone and your personality, and then tell it to write five posts, short posts, not long yet, five short posts using the keywords that you gave it, and do one at a time, right?
00:17:14.630 --> 00:17:19.590
And so you give it to the AI tool and it will produce some content.
00:17:19.910 --> 00:17:25.269
Now, here's why I say ask for five, because chances are three of them you're gonna throw away.
00:17:25.350 --> 00:18:03.270
They're not gonna be something you'll want to produce, or it'll be repetitive, but there'll be one or two that look pretty interesting, and so you take the best one that AI has provided for you, and then what you do, and here's where the magic is you take that one post that you liked out of the five that it produced, and take that and tell it to tell the AI tool to write five different posts with these five different perspectives.
00:18:03.830 --> 00:18:09.990
So you're taking that one and you're telling it, let's go deeper with that one, and here are the five.
00:18:10.550 --> 00:18:14.630
You're gonna tell it to write a post with the best one you liked, right?
00:18:14.710 --> 00:18:16.550
It produced five and you picked one.
00:18:16.790 --> 00:18:29.510
You say, out of this one, this particular topic, the post that you wrote, write another that is, and use each one of these to see a variation of that topic.
00:18:29.750 --> 00:18:34.070
Number one would be actionable, something that inspires action.
00:18:34.310 --> 00:18:44.950
Number two would be motivational, number three would be contrarian, because I love contrarian, usually get great great output with that.
00:18:45.190 --> 00:18:53.670
Number four would be an observation, and number five could be a prediction based on a current fact.
00:18:53.990 --> 00:18:58.070
You can also change this up and put write a how-to, right?
00:18:58.470 --> 00:19:21.350
Or write best practices, or write common mistakes, whatever you want to do, but it's a different perspective, and so you decide which five you want to tell it to write some variations with that one that you chose, and now all of a sudden it's producing five different short posts with these various perspectives.
00:19:22.230 --> 00:19:29.510
Then what you do is you pick the best one and then you expand on it and you write your post.
00:19:29.670 --> 00:19:46.310
If you do need to expand on it, maybe you just want it for social media, and maybe this exercise has produced maybe 10 posts, or it could have at least it's going to produce four or five, which would be enough content for a month if you post once a week.
00:19:46.630 --> 00:19:51.510
So by doing this, you're going deeper and deeper and deeper.
00:19:51.590 --> 00:20:05.110
You're starting from a keyword to a long tail keyword to putting it into an AI tool to giving you five ideas to taking a one idea and expanding it using these different five different perspectives.
00:20:05.270 --> 00:20:09.270
So you're going deeper and it's getting meatier and it's getting better.
00:20:09.510 --> 00:20:14.790
And the beautiful thing is that when you do this, then you're not writing with a blank screen.
00:20:15.030 --> 00:20:21.830
Then you can go ahead and introject some of your experiences and some storytelling in there if you're writing a blog post.
00:20:21.990 --> 00:20:25.750
Like I said, if you're just creating a post for social, you might not need to do much more.
00:20:25.910 --> 00:20:30.710
But if you want to expand on that, you can do that as well.
00:20:31.190 --> 00:20:34.390
So you end up with lots of content through the process.
00:20:34.550 --> 00:20:36.550
You won't end up with just one, guaranteed.
00:20:36.710 --> 00:20:38.070
You will not end up with just one.
00:20:38.230 --> 00:20:40.790
There'll be so many ideas you'll think, oh, I never even thought of that.
00:20:40.870 --> 00:20:41.270
That's great.
00:20:41.350 --> 00:20:42.230
That's another idea.
00:20:42.390 --> 00:20:52.230
And so you'll be excited because your work is already done for the day and you've got other ideas and you're anxious to start diving into those other ideas, you could do that tomorrow.
00:20:52.550 --> 00:21:06.390
So the thing is, each time you're going to sit down for content creation, it's not it's no longer a drudgery because now you're excited and you're looking forward to continuing where you left off.
00:21:07.190 --> 00:21:12.230
And so these posts can easily be short social posts.
00:21:12.710 --> 00:21:34.950
You can use it for your email newsletter, you can take it and expand a little bit more on it and give a little bit more meat to it, like an article, and you can write a blog post, and then you can expand even more with diagrams or illustrations, and add maybe um additional content.
00:21:35.110 --> 00:21:43.590
Maybe you have another podcast, maybe you have another blog post that speaks on a similar topic-related topic, and you can put all that on a LinkedIn newsletter.
00:21:43.990 --> 00:21:53.830
Because a LinkedIn newsletter allows you to put lots of links, images, subtitle, table of contents, your bio, anything you want.
00:21:54.550 --> 00:22:04.550
So now you've taken that one and you produced content for various scenarios just by doing this exercise.
00:22:04.630 --> 00:22:07.510
And the keyword search, you've only have to do it once.
00:22:07.670 --> 00:22:11.270
Once you have a number of keywords, you're off and running.
00:22:11.590 --> 00:22:13.430
Then you're just creating the content.
00:22:13.670 --> 00:22:18.230
So the end result this is where the magic comes in.
00:22:19.110 --> 00:22:25.270
You will not only have simplicity in creating content, but you will be consistent because it's simpler.
00:22:26.070 --> 00:22:31.030
You will have more targeted content based on the keyword search, right?
00:22:31.270 --> 00:22:33.510
That's what people are searching for, so it's more targeted.
00:22:33.750 --> 00:22:34.390
It's going to resonate.
00:22:34.870 --> 00:22:35.590
With people.
00:22:35.910 --> 00:22:43.750
It's going to improve your rank because if they find it, they will go to it organically without even paying for ads.
00:22:43.910 --> 00:22:46.230
So it's going to improve your ranking.
00:22:46.470 --> 00:22:57.590
And so if you're getting organic traffic to your website, just make sure heads up that you have some kind of call to action on that website so that you can invite them to join your email list.
00:22:57.750 --> 00:23:08.470
It's going to improve your ranking and the material can be repurposed in various forms for email newsletter, for a LinkedIn newsletter, for other social media posts.
00:23:08.550 --> 00:23:12.710
If you have more than one that you want to post to, you can push it out to those.
00:23:13.030 --> 00:23:16.310
You have a lot of places where you can put this content.
00:23:16.470 --> 00:23:20.950
And each time you can expand it or you can condense it, like an accordion.
00:23:21.030 --> 00:23:23.430
You know, do you want it a little bit more?
00:23:23.590 --> 00:23:27.270
Add a little bit more for a post, a blog post or a newsletter.
00:23:27.510 --> 00:23:29.830
And you have no more overwhelm.
00:23:30.390 --> 00:23:32.950
The simplicity has taken that off.
00:23:33.430 --> 00:23:38.390
On the front end, it's a little bit of research of figuring out those keywords.
00:23:39.030 --> 00:23:44.070
But then once you get going, you're going to have lots of ideas.
00:23:44.310 --> 00:23:48.950
And it's better ideas than just going into Chat GBT and say, write a post.
00:23:49.190 --> 00:24:03.830
It's not going to, even with the steps I've given you, the reason why I say give me five suggestions when you're talking to AI or giving it a prompt is because usually there's only like two out of five that you can work with.
00:24:03.990 --> 00:24:07.190
The others aren't that great and sometimes are repetitive.
00:24:07.350 --> 00:24:13.670
Now it's getting better, but that would be a way that I would use AI if I'm creating content.
00:24:13.910 --> 00:24:37.350
And I think the relief that it gives us, not to necessarily produce more, produce more, and produce mediocre content just for the sake of producing, but being more strategic and making sure we're producing something that at least has a good chance of ranking well, bringing in an organic traffic, really serving our community based on the keyword search you've done.
00:24:37.590 --> 00:24:41.750
And it's gonna make life a lot easier because we got other things to do, right?
00:24:41.910 --> 00:24:43.910
And uh life is not just work.
00:24:44.070 --> 00:24:52.630
We've got we've got our personal lives too that we want to work to have a chance to uh do our work and have more margin so we can enjoy life, right?
00:24:52.870 --> 00:24:55.030
So um that's what I have for you today.
00:24:55.110 --> 00:25:02.870
I think content creation is something that really is difficult for many people because it's an ongoing thing that never goes away.
00:25:03.030 --> 00:25:05.030
And so we're always trying to figure out what to do.
00:25:05.110 --> 00:25:16.790
And when AI came about, people just thought, well, I'll just have it write, but it doesn't always produce the best content when you just leave it up to AI to figure out what to write.
00:25:16.950 --> 00:25:19.590
And we're seeing that more and more in posts.
00:25:19.830 --> 00:25:27.030
Um, a lot of the repetitive words, a lot of the AI lingo is there, and you can you can tell.
00:25:27.190 --> 00:25:42.070
And so it's best to do the best you can originally with all the tools that you need, like keyword search, and maybe you have your own ideas, or maybe you got insight from your own clients, pain points that they have, and you can use that as well.
00:25:42.310 --> 00:25:45.590
I'm just saying start with keywords if you don't even know where to start.
00:25:46.230 --> 00:26:16.230
Eddie, if you have no clue whatsoever, what even to put in for a keyword search, and you're absolutely clueless, you're just getting started, then you can go to AI and say, based on you know, the information that it has access to, and based on keywords and based on history, you know, what are some struggles and and some of the pain points and some of the problems these particular people have in this industry.
00:26:16.310 --> 00:26:20.870
But even in that, you have to be very, very specific so it could give you that.
00:26:20.950 --> 00:26:24.070
And then you take that and you look for keywords.
00:26:24.390 --> 00:26:40.550
So it's a blend of things, but I'll tell you, once you have your topics and your keywords, then giving it to AI to be able to create those different perspectives, like I mentioned before, how-to, contrarian, whatever you want to list that.
00:26:40.630 --> 00:26:53.030
I gave you some examples, that's when it really starts producing some great stuff because it's taking it from different angles, different perspectives, and you can find something that really resonates with you and will resonate with your audience.
00:26:53.270 --> 00:27:01.190
So if you would like to receive the show notes, I usually record these a month in advance, so it'll take a little bit to get it.
00:27:01.430 --> 00:27:14.630
But if you want to receive the show notes, find out how you can submit copy for critique, because once a month on the podcast, we do a copy critique of your lead magnet opt-in page.
00:27:14.790 --> 00:27:18.390
We do a copy critique of that or your home page.
00:27:18.630 --> 00:27:28.230
And if you want to submit copy for critique, you just sign up for the podcast community and you can go to MarissaShattert.com forward slash listen.
00:27:28.710 --> 00:27:43.990
And you'll not only join and get the show notes every time I release a podcast, but you'll also get instructions on how you could submit copy, or if you want to be a guest on the podcast, I'll also push out information on how you could apply to be a guest on the podcast as well.
00:27:44.230 --> 00:27:46.150
So that's what I have for you today.
00:27:46.310 --> 00:27:47.750
I hope it was helpful.
00:27:47.990 --> 00:27:59.110
I know content creation is something we just can't get away from, but we can do it in a way that's strategic, easier, so we don't have the headaches of having to face a blank screen.
00:27:59.350 --> 00:28:02.790
So until next time, take care and thanks so much for listening.
00:28:02.950 --> 00:28:03.430
Bye bye.
