The Silver Strand

This is when me and dirty ol’ bastard Adgeen Byrne went to the seaside, set up the ‘Rock Pool’ and did a live radio broadcast from the Silver Strand in the cold of summer. THE SILVER STRAND! Yis don’t know it. It’s not yer granny’s landing strip down on the old acre, no, it’s a beach in Ireland. It’s the greatest ‘shingle beach’ in the world. Now I don’t like the sun. Too big a star for me and I HATE stars. Actually just the cuntish ones on Earth. Always beggin’ for attention; ‘buy my shite ‘til I get more botox.’ Sadly the great unwashed fall for it tryin' to fit in and duly complain that modern life is shite. Cunts. Thankfully I've missed most of it. I’ve the classic studio tan after the 31 years spent buried deep among patchbays, ribbon mics and big faders. Adgeen had to drag me off with the hat on and the talons out, to hit the beach and splash around. Nearly had a heart spasm! We dove into the wrinkly rock pool with submerged cassettes for music, unprovoked aggression for entertainment and other strange things that are not quite right. Including this tiny 3.45 minute grain of a clip where it’s indisputably confirmed that DJ Adgeen is a dirty old bastard.
