About us:Host James Gill launched Always Be Comedy in 2011; since then the cream of the comedy world have called ABC their second home. James is a comedian and former journalist, with more than two decades of experience interviewing some of the biggest film, TV and sports stars on the planet… this has got a bit self-aggrandising but we want you to know it’s not ABC’s first rodeo.ABC’s Tim Lewis has worked at the biggest and best comedy and entertainment shows in Britain and is invariably tech-ing half the shows at the Edinburgh Festival each year (these aren’t his words, so please don’t accuse him of bragging).Always Be Comedy won Best Pro Comedy Night at the 2023 and 2025 Chortle awards, having previously won Best Comedy Show at the Joe.co.uk Awards.
