SELLEST OSAST
Jack and Nora are joined by performer, writer, and WRMC Official Bridget Jones Correspondent Aruhan Galieva to discuss #4 on Vanity Fair’s list of the 42 Best Romantic Comedies of All Time: Bridget Jones’s Diary. In this episode, Nora nearly asphyxiates from laughing, Jack makes a surprising number of TV references, and Aruhan teaches us how to kiss— or at least how to light one. Throw on your best reindeer sweater, fill up a glass of Chardonnay, and let’s like ourselves very much (just as we are)!
Topics include:
- Couples’ Halloween costumes
- The greatest lip syncs in cinema history
- The “controversy” around casting Renee Zellweger
–
Mysteries we still haven’t solved:
- Why is this movie’s Rotten Tomatoes score so low?!
–
Content Warning: It wouldn’t be a conversation about Bridget Jones if early 2000s fat-shaming didn’t come up multiple times, so please be warned!
