SELLEST OSAST
Is doubt a threat to your faith, or a sign of spiritual maturity?
In Part 2 of this conversation on Uncommon Sense in Current Times, I continue my dialogue with theologian Dr. Randal Rauser (The Doubters Creed) to dive deep into biblical interpretation, moral reasoning, deconstruction and why empathy is essential for truth-seeking Christians.
We unpack the pitfalls of certainty, how to navigate disagreement with love, and why honest doubt might be your most faithful response in confusing times.
If you've ever asked: "Is it OK to question what I've always believed?" then this episode offers both clarity and comfort.
📌 In Part 2, we explore:
✅ Why truth has become "uncommon" in our time ✅ How flawed moral intuitions shape our beliefs—and how to correct them ✅ The difference between interpretation and idolatry ✅ How to argue like a Christian (Golden Rule-style) ✅ What deconstruction actually means (and why Rauser believes it's not always bad) ✅ The difference between doubt, deconstruction and the "sin of certainty" ✅ Why love of neighbor must guide every doctrine
