SELLEST OSAST
Part two of two.
Where is the line between honoring a group of people and putting them on a pedestal? And can spirituality really be separated from the history of the places and people it claims to honor?
In Part 2 of Daniel’s conversation with Marie Major, the discussion takes a more challenging turn as they explore race, racism, privilege, history, and the role these issues should play within the spiritual community.
Marie argues that spirituality cannot simply focus on ideas of love, unity, and interconnectedness without also acknowledging the historical injustices experienced by Black and Indigenous people. Daniel agrees on the importance of understanding racism, slavery, colonization, and the systemic barriers that continue to affect marginalized communities, but challenges some of Marie’s conclusions along the way.
That leads to one of the central disagreements of the conversation: when Marie speaks about honoring Black people as what she considers the “original blueprint of humanity,” Daniel asks whether honoring a group can cross the line into putting that group on a pedestal. From there, they wrestle with what equality actually looks like, white privilege, historical responsibility, cultural appropriation, and whether someone needs to acknowledge the entire history of a place before speaking about its spiritual significance.
The conversation eventually returns to the subject that first brought Marie widespread attention: stargates. Marie explains why she believes a stargate in Iran is spiritually connected to the conflict in the region, while Daniel challenges her on how much someone needs to know about a place’s political and historical context before offering a spiritual interpretation of what is happening there.
Despite their disagreements, the conversation ultimately returns to a principle they largely share: acknowledge what you know, acknowledge what you don’t, remain willing to listen, and don’t let the fear of being wrong prevent you from asking difficult questions.
Marie's bio:
Marie Major is a spiritual author and speaker who helps individuals move from feeling lost in time's illusion to resting in the truth of Divine Timing.
She looks at time not as a line, but as a living energy record—a cosmic story we are meant to co-author. Her work bridges celestial guidance and practical energy medicine, helping others read the rhythm of their soul and align with the universe's flow.
Marie believes true manifestation is sacred resonance. It begins when we harmonize our energy with the cosmos, transform old timelines, and consciously collaborate with life's currents. This is where intention meets grace, and longing becomes embodied creation.
She is here to help you translate the universe's whispers, dissolve the myth of "too late" or "too soon," and step into the serene power of your own eternal now. Her guiding principle: we create with time, not against it.
