Human beings are constantly reinventing themselves.Cultures evolve.Technologies change.Institutions rise and fall. But beneath all those transformations lies a deeper question:What does it actually mean to be human? In this episode of Thought Atlas, I'm joined by Pardis Mahdavi, an anthropologist, author, educator, and entrepreneur whose work has taken her from studying sexuality and human rights in post-revolutionary Iran to leading universities and reimagining the future of education itself.Having written nine books and served as a dean, provost, and university president, Pardis is now building MyUni, an AI-native university designed to make education accessible across the globe.Alongside her work in education and policy, she has spent decades exploring consciousness, identity, spirituality, and the deeper dimensions of human experience.Together, we explore:• Anthropology and human nature• Culture, identity, and assumptions we inherit• Education and the future of learning• AI and human potential• Consciousness and altered states• Reinvention and leaving old identities behind• Opportunity and unrealized talent• Technology and humanity• What gives hope in uncertain times• The future of civilizationThis isn't simply a conversation about education or AI.It's an exploration of consciousness, learning, identity, and the possibility that humanity still has much to discover about itself.🌍 Thought Atlas:https://joinpodmatch.com/thoughtatlas🌍 Pardis Mahdavi:https://pardismahdavi.com
