The Shallows EP 020 - First Half Fun
Erik Hinrichsen and Carson Picard navigate through The Shallows, starting with the Captain's Report, featuring pitcher injury updates to Kris Bubic, Matthew Boyd, and the return of Eury Perez. Also for the first time in the Captain's Report, the guys feature the top performers of the week, from Dansby Swanson's absurd double-header, to Wyatt Langford's heater (finally), the emergence of Jac Caglianone, and the pitcher that was promised, Kyle Bradish. Then the Erik and Carson give the their biggest takeaways from the first half of the season, including how terrible the American League has been and the curious case of the missing drag on the baseball and what that means going into the season's hottest months. Finally, they go position by position giving you their all-stars at each position so far this season, and some of the picks may surprise you. It's the 20th episode! Welcome to The Shallows!
