Kevin John has built a successful career as a sports broadcaster and journalist, but behind the confidence viewers see on television is a deeply personal story of struggle, perseverance and finding his place.
In this episode of The Resilient Path Podcast with Kyle Draper, Kevin shows even successful people struggle with depression. He opens up about growing up feeling like he never truly fit in, his battle with depression, and reaching a point where he nearly took his own life. He shares how he navigated those darkest moments, found purpose, and continued pursuing a career in broadcasting.
It’s a powerful and vulnerable conversation about mental health, belonging, professional success and the reality that we often don’t know what someone is battling behind the scenes.
