My MVX Plus Blood Test Results | Dr. Darren Schmidt

WEBVTT
00:00:10.564 --> 00:00:15.468
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this week's episode of Hanging Out with David Pasqualone and Friends.
00:00:15.708 --> 00:00:19.262
Today we have a follow-up episode with Dr. Darren Schmidt.
00:00:19.317 --> 00:00:20.957
Darren, welcome to the show.
00:00:21.974 --> 00:00:23.092
Yeah, thanks for having me.
00:00:23.117 --> 00:00:23.900
I appreciate it.
00:00:24.314 --> 00:00:25.964
Oh, man, we're looking forward to it.
00:00:26.391 --> 00:00:41.286
As many of our listeners around the world listened to your episode, which I'll put a link in the show notes on the Remarkable People Podcast, we discussed what you do in having the test results, the blood drawn, and what you can glean from these reports.
00:00:41.479 --> 00:00:44.472
So ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna do a live good, bad or ugly.
00:00:44.762 --> 00:00:51.677
Darren's gonna talk about what my lab results show and what we can do to improve my health so you know what to expect in your visit.
00:00:51.691 --> 00:00:53.563
So Darren, take it away, my friend.
00:00:54.295 --> 00:00:58.465
Okay, so just as a reminder, this test is called MVX Plus.
00:00:58.469 --> 00:01:02.164
It stands for Metabolic Vulnerability Index, and it measures cellular health.
00:01:03.097 --> 00:01:07.013
This is available nationwide through LabCorp, and it's relatively new.
00:01:07.024 --> 00:01:10.362
It came out January 2025, and it does several things.
00:01:10.362 --> 00:01:16.134
It predicts five-year longevity, and it measures cellular health, as I mentioned.
00:01:16.147 --> 00:01:21.174
It also gives you a score one to 100, and you want your score to be low.
00:01:21.186 --> 00:01:22.769
That's your overall health score.
00:01:23.436 --> 00:01:28.341
So I can just share the screen and we can go over this result.
00:01:28.510 --> 00:01:36.459
So your blood draw for this was September 23rd, 2026, and they reported it two days later.
00:01:37.447 --> 00:01:44.087
So your overall score is 45, and you want that just to be lower.
00:01:44.784 --> 00:01:55.135
And so I've had people whose scores are in the 20s, which is really good, but still within the context of the other numbers, I can see that they have some room for improvement.
00:01:56.257 --> 00:01:56.584
Okay.
00:01:56.585 --> 00:01:59.959
So just interrupt me at any time if you have any questions.
00:01:59.968 --> 00:02:02.471
So there's that overall score, Metabolic Vulnerability Index.
00:02:03.493 --> 00:02:09.206
And then the reference interval from the lab is less than 63, but that doesn't give us much data.
00:02:09.671 --> 00:02:21.481
There's rules that they have to follow, like 75% of the population has to be, quote-unquote, "within normal limits." So that number there is way too high to be, like, the reference interval at 63 or higher.
00:02:22.098 --> 00:02:23.533
So again, yours is at 45.
00:02:23.878 --> 00:02:36.157
Now, the next one is called the Inflammation Vulnerability Index, and that score is a combination of the next two items, which is the first one is Glycation, and then the next one's called Smallest Particle Number.
00:02:36.829 --> 00:02:43.566
So Glycation is infection and/or inflammation, and you want it to be 300 or less, and you're at 419.
00:02:44.066 --> 00:02:49.923
So of all your scores, that's the one that needs the most amount of work, and we can dive into all the details about that.
00:02:51.157 --> 00:02:56.024
And then the other part of the inflammation vulnerability index is small LDL particle number.
00:02:56.532 --> 00:03:03.061
So it's the number of small HDL particles, and those are like the guardian angels of the arteries.
00:03:04.116 --> 00:03:09.611
And your score is fifteen point eight, and you want that score to be like eighteen, nineteen, twenty.
00:03:09.981 --> 00:03:12.304
Twenty-one point six is the high end on that.
00:03:13.350 --> 00:03:18.215
So that is representative of toxicity, loosely related to toxicity.
00:03:18.788 --> 00:03:21.080
It can also drop down due to infection.
00:03:22.163 --> 00:03:27.975
And so those two combined give us your IVX, inflammation vulnerability index, which is forty-four.
00:03:28.731 --> 00:03:33.985
And I've seen that like in the twenties I've seen that even in the teens or even as low as nine.
00:03:34.695 --> 00:03:38.181
So the lowest inflammation you get, you can get down to, the better off you are.
00:03:39.014 --> 00:03:40.169
So you have work to do there.
00:03:40.662 --> 00:03:42.121
Okay, now the next index.
00:03:42.123 --> 00:03:43.503
So there's three indices.
00:03:43.510 --> 00:03:47.730
We already went through two of them, the MVX and IVX.
00:03:48.102 --> 00:03:51.362
The next one's called MMX, metabolic malnutrition index.
00:03:52.114 --> 00:03:53.266
And you want that in the forties.
00:03:53.277 --> 00:03:55.457
So yours is at forty-nine, so that's really good.
00:03:56.050 --> 00:03:57.219
And again, the lower the better.
00:03:57.221 --> 00:04:01.632
So if it was forty-two, that'd be better, but forty-nine is pretty good.
00:04:02.383 --> 00:04:05.413
And so that's a combination of the last four items.
00:04:05.955 --> 00:04:08.987
So you have citrate, valine, leucine, and isoleucine.
00:04:10.072 --> 00:04:11.611
Okay, so here's what they represent.
00:04:11.620 --> 00:04:17.182
Citrate represents mitochondrial function, and you want that score to be one point six to one point nine.
00:04:17.793 --> 00:04:19.894
So you're at one point seven two, so that's really good.
00:04:20.684 --> 00:04:35.326
And then the valine, leucine, and isoleucine, those are called the branched-chain amino acids, and they represent digestion ability, B1 status, protein intake, and can you digest your protein.
00:04:36.247 --> 00:04:43.951
And and these can go haywire from colon problems like ulcerative colitis, for example, chronic diarrhea.
00:04:44.767 --> 00:04:51.644
They can also go haywire if somebody exercises like the day before the blood draw, so you don't want to exercise for one or two days before.
00:04:52.536 --> 00:04:53.848
So let's go over these one by one.
00:04:53.848 --> 00:04:59.434
So the valine and the leucine, they're more related to glycolysis, which is burning sugar.
00:04:59.946 --> 00:05:03.608
And then the leucine is related to a low-carb diet.
00:05:04.326 --> 00:05:07.930
So the leucine will be a bit low on a low-carb diet, which is fine.
00:05:08.564 --> 00:05:17.627
But anyway, so the va-- your valine score is at two fourteen, which is pretty good, and it'd be better if it was like two thirty, but I'm not complaining about your valine at two fourteen at all.
00:05:18.463 --> 00:05:23.694
The leucine could also be a little bit higher, like one forty, one fifty.
00:05:24.435 --> 00:05:32.161
One-- I'll say one thirty to one fifty, and you're at one eleven So you could maybe digest protein better.
00:05:32.161 --> 00:05:33.810
I don't know if you eat a lot of protein or not.
00:05:34.331 --> 00:05:36.173
Now, the isoleucine is a little bit high.
00:05:36.660 --> 00:05:39.047
It should be 55, yours is at 62.
00:05:39.620 --> 00:05:43.053
So can I ask you q- questions about your health and your diet and stuff?
00:05:43.262 --> 00:05:44.163
Yeah, absolutely.
00:05:44.970 --> 00:05:45.456
Okay, good.
00:05:45.456 --> 00:05:46.795
So do you eat a lot of protein?
00:05:47.577 --> 00:05:48.095
Yes.
00:05:48.817 --> 00:05:49.321
Okay, good.
00:05:49.331 --> 00:05:54.519
Do you digest it that you know of, or do you have heartburn or stomach pain or bloating or anything like that?
00:05:54.519 --> 00:06:01.415
I notice if I have steak, I'm fine, but if I have steak two or three days in a row, I have a hard time digesting.
00:06:01.915 --> 00:06:15.858
And then if I have certain foods I don't have heartburn like I used to have, but if I do eat late and go to bed on a full stomach and had a bunch of protein, it is harder for me to digest because I feel it when I sleep.
00:06:17.586 --> 00:06:21.641
Yeah, so what do you feel at that moment when you're trying to sleep but your stomach's full?
00:06:21.870 --> 00:06:22.514
What do you feel?
00:06:23.507 --> 00:06:27.971
It just feels Like sluggish and full and even sometimes hard to breathe.
00:06:29.428 --> 00:06:30.175
Yeah, that.
00:06:30.187 --> 00:06:33.730
So that's the hard to breathe feeling is like the pressure coming up.
00:06:34.732 --> 00:06:36.206
Yeah the upper stomach problems.
00:06:36.235 --> 00:06:39.697
But then if you had steak three days in a row, then you'd have constipation maybe?
00:06:41.343 --> 00:06:48.170
Yeah, I don't think it's constipation, but it'll- Yeah… I might not go a day 'cause it's digesting, and then the next day I'll go, more.
00:06:49.293 --> 00:06:49.783
Okay.
00:06:50.766 --> 00:06:51.016
All right.
00:06:51.016 --> 00:06:51.415
Got it.
00:06:51.608 --> 00:07:05.663
So there's a little bit- So I think that's what happens, like if when I say that if I have a problem or if I eat too much steak or if I eat too much food of something I'm not constipated, I just skip a day, and then the next day I'll go two or three times instead of just once or whatever, yeah.
00:07:05.684 --> 00:07:06.649
I think that's fine.
00:07:07.074 --> 00:07:07.959
Yeah, I think that's fine.
00:07:08.572 --> 00:07:11.725
But it sounds like you have a little bit of something going on with your digestion.
00:07:11.726 --> 00:07:17.302
You should be able to not have that pressure feeling- Yeah … like if you eat or something.
00:07:17.754 --> 00:07:28.250
Anyway, so the main supplement to fix a lot of digestive problems like that would be vitamin B1, high dose synthetic B1, especially benfotiamine.
00:07:29.091 --> 00:07:35.533
So again, that's how that, the valine, leucine, and isoleucine can be corrected or improved upon by adding in the B1.
00:07:35.533 --> 00:07:41.009
But the, but with your scores, like your MMX being at 49, pretty good.
00:07:41.017 --> 00:07:44.403
Not a big deal at all, but it's the Glycation A. That's a problem.
00:07:44.728 --> 00:07:47.774
So- Now, let me ask you a question just for our listeners and for you.
00:07:47.807 --> 00:07:55.139
I did, I fasted for this blood test, but I ate almost at midnight, and I had the
00:07:55.142 --> 00:07:57.642
00 AM.
00:07:58.209 --> 00:08:02.497
Was there supposed to be a longer fast, or is that, was that eight hours enough?
00:08:03.668 --> 00:08:07.858
It should be like 10 to 12 hours, but- Okay, so I kind of- … if you waited-… screwed that up for everybody.
00:08:07.862 --> 00:08:10.237
Sorry- No, you're- … ladies and gentlemen… not really.
00:08:10.264 --> 00:08:10.812
Not really.
00:08:11.040 --> 00:08:11.072
Okay.
00:08:11.072 --> 00:08:14.012
'Cause if you waited two more hours, your Glycation A would still be really high.
00:08:14.434 --> 00:08:16.427
Okay, and the Glycation A is inflammation?
00:08:17.468 --> 00:08:22.069
And/or infection and/or trauma Okay, yeah, I got a lot of that going on.
00:08:22.132 --> 00:08:27.384
I've been having a lot of problems with, I have something going on, whether it's my teeth or gums.
00:08:27.384 --> 00:08:27.810
Yeah.
00:08:27.810 --> 00:08:31.916
I got something going on with my lower back, and my allergies are off the chart.
00:08:31.937 --> 00:08:34.798
For my listeners, they can hear me, the difference in other episodes.
00:08:35.149 --> 00:08:38.027
So this whole season has been pretty rough.
00:08:38.028 --> 00:08:40.976
Do you think that's what's causing that to be elevated or something else?
00:08:41.148 --> 00:08:41.793
Yes.
00:08:41.873 --> 00:08:42.201
Yeah.
00:08:42.393 --> 00:08:46.759
So the the allergies for sure, and then what's going on with your teeth and gums?
00:08:47.421 --> 00:08:48.296
I- we don't know.
00:08:48.397 --> 00:08:50.513
I've been to two dentists, an oral surgeon.
00:08:50.513 --> 00:08:51.874
I got another periodontal.
00:08:52.253 --> 00:09:04.018
When I was 18, when I was 19, I had radiation therapy, so they don't think it's connected, but we're trying to, look at all the options and see what's going on.
00:09:04.504 --> 00:09:12.191
But I just have this pain when you touch my gums behind my tooth, and it's… I don't know what caused it.
00:09:12.191 --> 00:09:25.250
It just started in mid-July, and it's got thankfully better than it was, but it's still there, and sometimes it gets really bad, and sometimes it's just annoying and there if I think about it.
00:09:25.812 --> 00:09:26.953
But that's one issue.
00:09:26.966 --> 00:09:29.000
And then my lower back's been going off.
00:09:29.349 --> 00:09:32.037
So I just got some weird things happening.
00:09:32.398 --> 00:09:36.643
So to see that up, I don't question it at all.
00:09:37.102 --> 00:09:41.254
But my next question to you as a doctor is what do I do to treat it?
00:09:41.340 --> 00:09:43.960
What do I do to make myself as healthy as possible?
00:09:45.075 --> 00:09:49.408
Yeah, so you have to g- get into the details of the conditions you're talking about.
00:09:49.573 --> 00:09:51.684
Have you had a cone beam of your jaw?
00:09:51.708 --> 00:09:54.610
That's a 3D X-ray of your- Yeah … of your jaw.
00:09:54.625 --> 00:09:56.596
Yeah, I had all that done.
00:09:56.631 --> 00:09:58.850
They're seeing- And there- There was like a- And there's no infection?
00:09:59.476 --> 00:09:59.647
Huh?
00:09:59.650 --> 00:10:00.895
No, that's what's weird.
00:10:00.897 --> 00:10:04.023
They even shoved granules in, antibiotic granules in.
00:10:04.437 --> 00:10:06.279
I did a mouthwash antibiotics.
00:10:06.307 --> 00:10:08.134
I did oral antibiotics.
00:10:08.135 --> 00:10:08.984
I did steroids.
00:10:08.984 --> 00:10:10.437
Okay, so wait, they found a pocket?
00:10:10.452 --> 00:10:13.000
You, do you have an infection in your teeth or in your jaw?
00:10:13.054 --> 00:10:17.274
No, they found a little… Oh, man, I don't know how to explain it.
00:10:17.505 --> 00:10:34.427
They found like a little… They said maybe there was some bone loss, like a, a little like tu- like tube or granule, but they don't know what caused… i'm like rambling In behind where my gums are, they found like a little, like area that has some bone loss.
00:10:34.429 --> 00:10:34.441
Yeah.
00:10:34.883 --> 00:10:39.416
So to be safe, they shoved granules up there, if- Okay… that makes sense.
00:10:39.690 --> 00:10:41.663
But there was no sign of infection.
00:10:41.995 --> 00:10:48.942
Okay, so- But when I touch my tooth, it doesn't necessarily hurt, but when I touch the gums behind it, it's like lights me up.
00:10:50.014 --> 00:10:52.302
And this all came out of nowhere mid-July.
00:10:52.304 --> 00:10:52.320
Okay.
00:10:52.724 --> 00:10:54.519
Like even right now talking to you, it hurts.
00:10:55.120 --> 00:10:55.592
Okay.
00:10:55.594 --> 00:10:57.938
And you've been using an antibiotic mouthwash you said?
00:10:58.466 --> 00:11:02.523
I, yeah, I did that for, I'm not continuously, but I did that for two weeks.
00:11:02.871 --> 00:11:02.890
Yeah.
00:11:02.890 --> 00:11:03.937
Didn't do anything.
00:11:03.975 --> 00:11:06.841
Did steroids, didn't do anything.
00:11:07.344 --> 00:11:08.339
Maybe it did a little.
00:11:08.822 --> 00:11:14.868
And then the, what's happening that helps is I've been rubbing clove and frankincense essential oils on it.
00:11:15.153 --> 00:11:15.274
Yeah.
00:11:15.274 --> 00:11:15.283
Yeah.
00:11:15.283 --> 00:11:17.197
And I do that every day, like twice a day.
00:11:17.461 --> 00:11:17.684
Yeah.
00:11:17.684 --> 00:11:20.644
And it k- just numbs it up, but there's definitely an issue.
00:11:20.644 --> 00:11:38.419
So I was getting ready to pull the tooth, and right before that the oral surgeon's like, "Wait, we need to get your old records from the radiation to make sure, you'll heal and recover from it." And then this, which, thank God I will, but then there's also, he's like let's see a par-," I think it's periodontist to check the gums.
00:11:38.423 --> 00:11:38.456
Yeah.
00:11:38.456 --> 00:11:44.121
So maybe it's not even the tooth, but what we think is there's like a crack in the tooth, and it's just radiating pain.
00:11:44.964 --> 00:11:46.306
Oh, okay.
00:11:47.085 --> 00:11:51.741
So the main causes of chronic illness are infection, toxin, and malnutrition.
00:11:52.403 --> 00:11:56.561
So if there's, if it's just a crack in the tooth, that'd be like a malnutrition thing.
00:11:56.691 --> 00:11:57.761
That's how I would see it.
00:11:58.471 --> 00:12:08.907
Like the need for bone minerals and protein, and there's supplements that, where people make recipes for a supplement to heal teeth.
00:12:09.811 --> 00:12:10.913
You've heard of that before?
00:12:11.273 --> 00:12:12.480
Wait, repeat that last part.
00:12:12.845 --> 00:12:15.342
There's supplements that are designed to heal teeth.
00:12:16.139 --> 00:12:17.140
I didn't know that.
00:12:17.302 --> 00:12:18.650
If you got them- Yeah … I'll, let's take them.
00:12:19.365 --> 00:12:19.768
Sure.
00:12:19.769 --> 00:12:20.009
Yeah.
00:12:20.009 --> 00:12:22.832
There's one, there's a company called Standard Process.
00:12:22.833 --> 00:12:24.373
They make a product called Bio-Dent.
00:12:26.331 --> 00:12:29.357
And there's another company called Ortho Molecular.
00:12:29.969 --> 00:12:34.947
They make a product called OsteoPrev to build bones, right?
00:12:34.947 --> 00:12:36.837
And teeth are like fancy bones.
00:12:37.923 --> 00:12:42.741
So if you, if it's only a crack, then you just take in the nutrients to heal that.
00:12:43.232 --> 00:12:56.576
If there's an infection I use, Of course, I'm a big fan of going to the right dentist, and if you've already tried antibiotics or antibiotic mouthwash those antimicrobial herbs that you mentioned right there on the gum would be very powerful.
00:12:56.577 --> 00:12:57.715
They should absorb in.
00:12:58.884 --> 00:13:05.476
And if it's a toxin, like radiation therapy, like that's pretty toxic, so there's like detox products for that.
00:13:05.488 --> 00:13:11.413
There's a product called Virad Chem Binder from CellCore to detox radiation.
00:13:11.932 --> 00:13:15.596
Yeah, it's been 30 years, but I had 4,000 rads roughly.
00:13:15.961 --> 00:13:16.297
Yeah.
00:13:16.297 --> 00:13:20.830
And that's why… He was just being extra safe to make sure, which I thank him for.
00:13:20.830 --> 00:13:20.840
Yeah.
00:13:21.191 --> 00:13:23.293
But, Yeah… yeah like I said, I'm open.
00:13:23.293 --> 00:13:30.033
And ladies and gentlemen, like I said, I do have a complex medical history, so Dr. Schmidt, I'm not trying to make your life more complicated on camera.
00:13:30.394 --> 00:13:33.527
But the other thing is you mentioned syn- synthetic vitamins.
00:13:33.527 --> 00:13:33.538
Yeah.
00:13:33.918 --> 00:13:38.577
I can't do synthetic vitamins because I have that MHTRF, whatever it's called.
00:13:38.605 --> 00:13:39.375
MTHFR.
00:13:39.423 --> 00:13:39.706
Yeah.
00:13:39.706 --> 00:13:39.716
Yes.
00:13:39.716 --> 00:13:40.658
B1's different.
00:13:40.816 --> 00:13:43.509
Vitamin B1's a different subject.
00:13:44.037 --> 00:13:52.033
Yeah, I just know that when I got tested- Yeah … there's something with my blood brain barrier, and it said- Yeah … like I know certain things I can't do.
00:13:52.115 --> 00:13:59.909
I just now I have a document that says it, but, no, but the benfotiamine B1 is totally fine for you to take, even if you're MTHFR.
00:14:00.788 --> 00:14:01.239
Okay.
00:14:01.671 --> 00:14:02.001
Okay.
00:14:02.047 --> 00:14:07.886
Yeah, the MTHFR doesn't apply to B1 Okay All right.
00:14:08.135 --> 00:14:10.761
So allergies, have you had allergies for years?
00:14:11.211 --> 00:14:12.110
Yeah, my whole life.
00:14:12.113 --> 00:14:13.566
Environmental allergies.
00:14:13.922 --> 00:14:19.772
I'm allergic to shellfish, and I'm allergic to one antibiotic that I know of, clindamycin.
00:14:19.778 --> 00:14:19.788
Yeah.
00:14:20.572 --> 00:14:22.648
It's like an oral… A dentist gave it to me.
00:14:24.139 --> 00:14:24.583
Okay.
00:14:24.750 --> 00:14:27.528
So what about seasonal allergies, like spring and fall?
00:14:27.658 --> 00:14:28.664
Yep, 100%.
00:14:29.544 --> 00:14:31.456
I'm really bad- Is it all year or just spring and fall?
00:14:32.323 --> 00:14:39.267
If I touch trees or grass, it's year-round, but it flares up in August, September every year.
00:14:39.462 --> 00:14:43.556
So right now, we just had a hurricane, so I think it stirred more stuff up.
00:14:43.894 --> 00:14:47.606
So right now I've been… It's been extra fun.
00:14:48.724 --> 00:14:49.225
Okay.
00:14:50.042 --> 00:14:53.357
You've had this seasonal allergies even when you were, like, 10 years old?
00:14:54.283 --> 00:14:54.668
Yeah.
00:14:55.131 --> 00:14:55.283
Yep.
00:14:55.298 --> 00:14:55.678
Okay.
00:14:56.668 --> 00:15:05.211
So I'm gonna say something that a lot of people would debate, but I… When I think of season- And I've treated tens of thousands of patients.
00:15:05.211 --> 00:15:08.778
I reverse complex chronic illness using only diet and supplements.
00:15:09.461 --> 00:15:11.461
Here's my assessment on seasonal allergies.
00:15:11.850 --> 00:15:21.605
Number one, it's organisms, plural, hiding out in the sinuses, and it could be bacteria, virus, candida, mold, or parasites.
00:15:22.388 --> 00:15:31.700
And I'm always going after parasites first because parasites harbor candida, mold, virus, bacteria, and metals, and chemicals.
00:15:32.336 --> 00:15:36.417
And I've had a lot of patients blow parasites out of their nose, including myself.
00:15:36.417 --> 00:15:38.149
I've had three come out of my nose.
00:15:38.852 --> 00:15:42.336
I use a product called Para 3 from CellCore Biosciences.
00:15:42.937 --> 00:15:44.429
It is absolutely fantastic.
00:15:45.195 --> 00:15:58.962
And and then after that you might need some antimicrobial clove or oregano or, combination herbal products that are antimicrobial And s- and then as opposed to just taking Benadryl all the time like an antihistamine.
00:15:59.524 --> 00:16:05.903
So if you really wanna clean these sinuses out and make the seasonal allergies go away forever, you gotta really clean all that garbage out.
00:16:05.929 --> 00:16:14.128
And I used to have seasonal allergies, and I haven't had them now for, what, 10 or 12 years, 'cause I fixed them up 100%.
00:16:14.928 --> 00:16:15.495
So there's that.
00:16:15.495 --> 00:16:16.354
So you- That would be a dream come true.
00:16:17.402 --> 00:16:35.346
Yeah, so when you have infections, whether it's teeth, sinuses, or in the ears saliva can be infected, and you… That leaves the, excuse me, it leaves here, the head, it goes down the throat into the body, causing systemic disease.
00:16:35.831 --> 00:16:46.289
So it can leave via the arteries, blood, lymphatic system down the ears, Eustachian tubes, down the throat, down the neck, and then just swallowing.
00:16:46.485 --> 00:17:02.649
So those are the four ways that these infections here go down in the body causing… I've seen chronic ear infections cause chronic UTIs, and I have people fix up their ears using peppermint, like a super strong peppermint oil, essential oil.
00:17:03.279 --> 00:17:06.232
Also that Pera 3 supplement that I mentioned, it's a liquid.
00:17:06.729 --> 00:17:20.869
I have people put that on their finger and put it in their ear like that and behind their ear, and that clears up bloating in the stomach because… And I had… One time I had a woman, she was on the double lung transplant list at University of Michigan Hospital.
00:17:21.714 --> 00:17:23.414
She had the nastiest cough.
00:17:24.131 --> 00:17:29.911
And I d- I do this biofeedback muscle testing procedure, and I found that her ears were a problem.
00:17:30.633 --> 00:17:47.395
And I said to her, "Do you have a c- a postnasal drip going down the back of your throat?" She goes, "Yeah, all the time." So I said, "Your problem is your ears." So she treated her ears, and over the course of six or more months it cleaned up her lungs, and she got off that double lung transplant list.
00:17:47.940 --> 00:17:55.846
So I'm saying this because there might be a relationship with the s- the stomach problems, and maybe even low back pain.
00:17:56.371 --> 00:18:05.748
So the… If these problems don't go away on their own, like taking B1 or doing other therapies, maybe you got a little bit of the sinus issues here dripping down into your body.
00:18:05.769 --> 00:18:06.560
Does that make sense?
00:18:07.547 --> 00:18:07.832
Yeah.
00:18:07.834 --> 00:18:09.132
No, I… Absolutely.
00:18:09.165 --> 00:18:15.259
And For me, if I… I just had a bunch of medical tests run.
00:18:15.498 --> 00:18:35.393
As- according to, mainstream science, I'm perfectly healthy aside from my blood pressure, and my blood pressure got high, so I actually got on blood pressure medicine, which I freaking hate the fact I'm on medicine, but it was just getting to a dangerous place, so now I'm on this till I can figure it out.
00:18:35.768 --> 00:18:39.925
Would whatever's going on in my sinuses cause blood pressure increase?
00:18:40.205 --> 00:18:40.773
Yes.
00:18:40.990 --> 00:18:58.020
When your glyc A is 300, the blood pressure will be normal I had a, I had high blood pressure when I had mold in 2016, and then I had blood pressure again when I had a t- a gas leak at my house in 2024.
00:18:58.746 --> 00:19:01.586
So toxins and infections cause high blood pressure.
00:19:02.044 --> 00:19:10.923
Toxins and infections cause, you name it, heart disease, cancer, autoimmune disease, aging, fatigue.
00:19:11.433 --> 00:19:19.967
It's infections, toxins, malnutrition, and that's what this test measures, infections, toxins, malnutrition, and then mitochondrial dysfunction.
00:19:21.300 --> 00:19:21.644
Yeah.
00:19:21.740 --> 00:19:28.295
So to me, as a patient, I'm thinking my sinuses, my allergies, my ears, all that stuff, I know I got an issue there.
00:19:28.300 --> 00:19:28.729
Yeah.
00:19:28.729 --> 00:19:33.605
My stomach has been really good and my digestion overall- Yeah … and then my blood pressure.
00:19:33.743 --> 00:19:36.739
Like those… So it would be like my sinuses and my blood pressure.
00:19:36.739 --> 00:19:36.887
Yeah.
00:19:36.893 --> 00:19:41.172
So if I was coming to you, that's what I'd wanna work on, unless you say something else.
00:19:42.217 --> 00:19:45.146
Yeah, the thing is, what's causing your blood pressure?
00:19:45.153 --> 00:19:45.166
Yeah.
00:19:45.777 --> 00:19:50.002
I've had people reduce their blood pressure by just going on the keto diet.
00:19:50.688 --> 00:19:54.157
I've had people reduce their blood pressure by getting rid of all the mold out of their body.
00:19:54.686 --> 00:20:00.282
Other people have gotten rid of their blood pressure by getting rid of, infections in their gut.
00:20:00.778 --> 00:20:03.115
Their bloating went away, their digestion works better.
00:20:03.986 --> 00:20:08.044
Their… You j- you wanna improve your health, and then symptoms go away.
00:20:08.551 --> 00:20:13.715
So in allopathic medicine, which is what we have, we're trained, we have symptoms.
00:20:13.715 --> 00:20:20.896
We want the symptoms to go away, so the doctors treat your symptom to make you happy, to make the symptom go away.
00:20:21.191 --> 00:20:21.411
Yeah.
00:20:21.438 --> 00:20:27.078
And in my perspective with the way that I, address healthcare, it's a different perspective.
00:20:27.087 --> 00:20:40.757
The perspective is increase your health by detoxing, organisms and toxins, and then nourish, and we watch and we see what symptoms go away, and it can take six months to a year and a half, two years.
00:20:41.574 --> 00:20:54.086
So if somebody has metabolic syndrome, which, they're eating junk food and now they're overweight, now they have fatty liver, now they have high blood pressure, like, all that is a low… you want a low-carb keto style diet.
00:20:54.873 --> 00:20:58.336
That's… Th- so there's I call it the seven-step blueprint to optimal health.
00:20:59.046 --> 00:21:00.733
So there's seven steps to get your health back.
00:21:00.733 --> 00:21:01.866
So step one is diet.
00:21:02.420 --> 00:21:03.852
Step two is drainage.
00:21:04.170 --> 00:21:05.528
That means you're not constipated.
00:21:05.528 --> 00:21:11.035
It means your kidneys are working well, lymphatic system, liver, even sinuses, drainage.
00:21:11.701 --> 00:21:15.304
And then step, the next step is, Wait, I… Back up.
00:21:15.676 --> 00:21:17.008
So s- step one is diet.
00:21:17.017 --> 00:21:22.189
Step two is mitochondrial function, which is citrate, and that's B1 primarily.
00:21:22.609 --> 00:21:23.885
And then step three is drainage.
00:21:23.885 --> 00:21:28.373
Step four is cleaning out the intestines, and that'd be related to glycae.
00:21:28.800 --> 00:21:31.782
Step five is cleaning out all kinds of organisms from head to toe.
00:21:32.751 --> 00:21:35.913
And so like that means toenail fungus, skin rash.
00:21:36.487 --> 00:21:39.156
That could be any kind of organisms hiding out in the sinuses.
00:21:39.549 --> 00:21:40.989
Bloating, that's candida.
00:21:41.385 --> 00:21:50.442
People carry five or six different infections in their body and they get Benadryl, they get Gas-X, they get… They're treating their symptoms, right?
00:21:50.442 --> 00:21:52.247
But you gotta eliminate those organisms.
00:21:52.896 --> 00:21:57.308
And then after step five, there's step six, which is detox, and that's related to the small cell particle number.
00:21:57.986 --> 00:22:01.634
And then step seven is intracellular cleansing, which is like Lyme disease.
00:22:02.555 --> 00:22:04.490
So then that's healing the body.
00:22:04.501 --> 00:22:05.375
Do you see what I'm saying?
00:22:05.383 --> 00:22:09.214
As opposed to treating the symptoms with medications, you get the difference there?
00:22:09.691 --> 00:22:10.607
Yeah, absolutely.
00:22:10.609 --> 00:22:13.914
Getting to the root cause is always the key, not just treating the symptoms.
00:22:13.920 --> 00:22:14.261
Yeah.
00:22:14.261 --> 00:22:20.624
So that's why it's like, whether it's me or one of our listeners, where do we start in this process based on these results?
00:22:21.355 --> 00:22:22.223
It's the seven steps.
00:22:22.224 --> 00:22:23.375
So step one is diet.
00:22:23.381 --> 00:22:27.200
But looking at yours, you're, you said you're eating a low carb diet, right?
00:22:27.200 --> 00:22:28.880
You're not eating sugar, right?
00:22:29.173 --> 00:22:30.457
Oh, no, I eat trash.
00:22:30.510 --> 00:22:36.721
I eat, not trash, but I'll eat good food- Yeah … and then I'll grab a cupcake or, or I'll have a sweet tea.
00:22:37.000 --> 00:22:40.539
So- So I am eating sugar How often?
00:22:41.598 --> 00:22:42.555
Oh, probably every day.
00:22:43.189 --> 00:22:43.507
Okay.
00:22:43.507 --> 00:22:45.190
So that's step one, the diet.
00:22:45.211 --> 00:22:46.453
So you gotta cut that out.
00:22:47.193 --> 00:22:47.426
Yeah.
00:22:47.785 --> 00:22:50.607
I know when I switched to a low- and that alone- … low sodium What's that?
00:22:50.693 --> 00:22:54.356
Low sodium, I never watched sodium my whole life.
00:22:54.356 --> 00:22:54.367
Yeah.
00:22:54.807 --> 00:23:02.055
And when I started watching sodium, I, without trying, in a week I lost 12 pounds and my blood pressure went down.
00:23:02.773 --> 00:23:03.713
When was that?
00:23:04.226 --> 00:23:05.371
Just a couple months ago.
00:23:05.632 --> 00:23:05.891
Wow.
00:23:05.891 --> 00:23:06.617
That's awesome.
00:23:07.256 --> 00:23:07.522
Yeah.
00:23:07.523 --> 00:23:10.669
So sodium I think is a big deal for my body for some reason.
00:23:11.122 --> 00:23:14.971
Like more so than others, yeah, so- Like 12 pounds in a week without trying, that was a lot of weight.
00:23:15.666 --> 00:23:16.055
Yeah.
00:23:16.068 --> 00:23:17.457
So here's the deal though with your diet.
00:23:17.480 --> 00:23:27.702
When you're eating sugar and carbs, that makes your body, the insulin goes up, and then you start retaining water and salt.
00:23:27.728 --> 00:23:29.107
Therefore, water and salt.
00:23:29.141 --> 00:23:35.474
When you go on a keto diet, the insulin drops, that makes your body lose water and salt.
00:23:36.826 --> 00:23:51.467
So that's why you're sup- you might have a genetic issue there, but you're probably super sensitive to salt because of the high carb diet So that's like a known thing like in the low carb community.
00:23:52.442 --> 00:23:52.858
Okay.
00:23:53.558 --> 00:23:53.961
Yeah.
00:23:54.711 --> 00:23:59.267
So now the sugar and the carbs will make the glyc A go up.
00:24:00.606 --> 00:24:06.700
And then having, just like extra fat, I don't know like what your weight is, but- Yeah, I'm probably 30 pounds overweight.
00:24:06.700 --> 00:24:09.903
I should be walking around at 185, and I'm about 215.
00:24:10.486 --> 00:24:10.943
Okay.
00:24:11.211 --> 00:24:17.471
So just having fat cells in your body like the white fat, it's metabolically detrimental.
00:24:17.885 --> 00:24:18.949
It's inflammatory.
00:24:19.836 --> 00:24:28.910
Just having extra… like the bigger white fat cells, that's contributing to high glyc A. So the… it's a picture of like here's the things that you do.
00:24:29.404 --> 00:24:39.689
You clean up your diet of the carbs and sugar, and then you clean out your sinuses of any kind of organisms hanging out, and clean up whatever ha- is happening with your tooth, fix that.
00:24:40.332 --> 00:24:45.229
And then regarding your low back, have you had low back pain like chronically or is that a new thing?
00:24:46.480 --> 00:24:50.467
No, it flares up and down since I was in my 20s.
00:24:50.923 --> 00:24:51.165
Yeah.
00:24:51.186 --> 00:25:00.977
But the, Recently it just flared, right around the same time my tooth flared up in July, I had my back and my lower left side of my back and my tooth hurting at the same time.
00:25:01.314 --> 00:25:03.413
So I was just in a lot of pain and discomfort.
00:25:04.032 --> 00:25:04.449
Yeah.
00:25:05.260 --> 00:25:13.364
So you might be surprised when you cut out all the sugar how your pain reduces and your body starts to heal,'cause sugar's very inflammatory.
00:25:14.480 --> 00:25:15.732
Yeah, no I believe it.
00:25:16.510 --> 00:25:16.906
Yeah.
00:25:17.195 --> 00:25:17.593
All right.
00:25:17.596 --> 00:25:22.423
So basically clean up my diet, and then see how that goes.
00:25:23.056 --> 00:25:26.589
And then when you say treat the sinuses, how do you do that?
00:25:26.602 --> 00:25:30.734
Is it like a nose douche or, swish something up there, or what do you do with that?
00:25:31.279 --> 00:25:31.672
Yeah.
00:25:31.672 --> 00:25:31.682
Yep.
00:25:32.038 --> 00:25:33.279
I'm a big fan of that.
00:25:33.291 --> 00:25:40.170
So the, you can buy a neti pot really cheap where you put water in there and you have to tilt your head over.
00:25:40.836 --> 00:25:43.800
But I'm a big fan of Navage, and that's a mechanical neti pot.
00:25:44.277 --> 00:25:49.090
So it has a little water pump and it puts water up one nostril and sucks it out the other.
00:25:49.919 --> 00:25:54.076
So in that water there's some salt just to make it soft on your mucosal membranes.
00:25:54.695 --> 00:25:56.721
And then I use this Para 3 liquid.
00:25:56.721 --> 00:25:58.232
I put about five drops in there.
00:25:59.589 --> 00:26:02.395
Yeah, and then it cleans out those sinuses really well.
00:26:02.852 --> 00:26:07.022
And so when I did it a few years ago, I did it about 30 times.
00:26:07.022 --> 00:26:08.346
I did it about twice a week.
00:26:09.614 --> 00:26:17.208
I did a, a total of 30 times, and man, the first couple times I did it I had tremendous amounts of stuff coming out, and it was phenomenal.
00:26:17.224 --> 00:26:19.776
And then I haven't done it in probably two years or whatever.
00:26:19.776 --> 00:26:23.865
I don't even know, but it's been a long time just 'cause my sinuses are in really good shape.
00:26:24.980 --> 00:26:38.037
Yeah, I had surgery about- I have blue ProHealth out of my nose… I had surgery about five years ago the surgeries I had when I was 19, everything was reconstructed from the tumor that s- they removed.
00:26:38.681 --> 00:26:42.238
And then, but I basically went my whole life not being able to breathe through my nose properly.
00:26:42.596 --> 00:26:49.968
So I just had that redone, but before the surgery I couldn't, I could put stuff in but it wouldn't come out.
00:26:50.022 --> 00:26:50.923
It wouldn't drain.
00:26:51.251 --> 00:26:57.287
So now maybe that, the N- Navage or neti pot would work a lot better for me because it can come out.
00:26:57.415 --> 00:27:04.651
Before it would just go in and make my head full Yeah, that's important to be able to make that come out Yeah.
00:27:05.422 --> 00:27:05.692
Yeah.
00:27:05.692 --> 00:27:06.093
All right.
00:27:06.191 --> 00:27:09.295
And you said the Navage is the blow and suck machine?
00:27:10.758 --> 00:27:11.195
Yep.
00:27:11.458 --> 00:27:13.664
Yeah, it's, like it's at Walmart and stuff.
00:27:13.871 --> 00:27:16.093
It's 100 bu- it's just north of 100 bucks.
00:27:17.088 --> 00:27:17.538
Okay.
00:27:18.497 --> 00:27:18.838
All right.
00:27:18.838 --> 00:27:19.027
Yeah.
00:27:19.311 --> 00:27:23.224
So step one is clean up the diet, lose my fat, 'cause I'm way overweight.
00:27:23.473 --> 00:27:27.012
Two, get the neti pot or Navage going.
00:27:27.384 --> 00:27:31.513
And then did you say there's a supplement to put in with it besides a salt solution?
00:27:32.336 --> 00:27:34.959
Yeah, it's called Para 3 from CellCore.
00:27:34.980 --> 00:27:36.817
It's a very strong herbal product.
00:27:37.587 --> 00:27:40.077
And I can get that through your website, or where do I get that?
00:27:41.172 --> 00:27:46.343
Yeah, right now mother natures shop dot com is where you get that from.
00:27:47.242 --> 00:27:47.693
Okay.
00:27:48.441 --> 00:27:51.391
So I do those two things, and what's the next step you'd recommend?
00:27:52.767 --> 00:27:54.739
I want to back up a little bit on the diet.
00:27:55.057 --> 00:28:02.272
So I'm a fan of a low carb diet, but when people are trying to lose weight, also do low fat.
00:28:02.538 --> 00:28:06.515
So it's like a high protein and lower carb and lower fat diet.
00:28:06.962 --> 00:28:12.028
So the more protein you eat, the more satisfied you are, and you end up eating less fat and carbs.
00:28:12.855 --> 00:28:12.886
Okay.
00:28:12.886 --> 00:28:29.535
So it's not just about being… 'Cause I was lo- I've been low carb my whole, since 1999, and in 2018, 2019 I was very carnivore, so super low carb for a whole year, but yet I gained 10 pounds'cause I was eating super fatty meat.
00:28:30.251 --> 00:28:34.310
So some people say that they eat s- really fatty meat and they don't gain weight.
00:28:34.310 --> 00:28:35.234
That's good for them.
00:28:35.835 --> 00:28:36.741
Everybody's different.
00:28:37.434 --> 00:28:39.596
And, and I was happy to gain the 10 pounds.
00:28:40.497 --> 00:28:45.469
But I'm, it's just a proof that just because you're eating low carb doesn't mean it works for you to lose weight.
00:28:45.912 --> 00:28:50.984
So that's why I say low carb and low fat while eating high protein, so it's gonna be lean meat.
00:28:51.674 --> 00:28:52.028
Yeah.
00:28:52.076 --> 00:28:58.784
And I want to lose fat and gain muscle, so I'm not- Yeah … hung up about how much I weigh on the scale, I just want to be good weight, right?
00:28:59.143 --> 00:28:59.663
Yeah.
00:29:00.021 --> 00:29:00.469
What about- Yeah.
00:29:01.045 --> 00:29:01.464
Oh, go ahead.
00:29:01.888 --> 00:29:02.442
No, go ahead.
00:29:02.814 --> 00:29:07.584
No, I was gonna say almost every time I eat, it, this might be just a psychological programming, right?
00:29:08.402 --> 00:29:10.344
Or is it something physiological?
00:29:10.398 --> 00:29:19.951
Every time I eat, afterwards I want chocolate or coffee or chocolate and/or coffee, and that's something that's been going on the last few years.
00:29:20.338 --> 00:29:35.691
So if I eat a meal, I instantly want chocolate and coffee, and I've had several, like one of my best friends They were telling me that's something that my body's probably craving'cause it's deficient, or is it just'cause I'm a fatty and I'm craving it'cause I want the lust of the flesh?
00:29:38.561 --> 00:29:42.653
There's something deficient, and- No, I'm wondering… Oh, there is something deficient.
00:29:43.105 --> 00:29:43.692
Yeah.
00:29:44.601 --> 00:29:45.121
Yeah.
00:29:45.141 --> 00:29:51.741
So one thing about c- chocolate is that- And I always have dark chocolate, just so you know.
00:29:51.741 --> 00:29:52.776
It's always dark chocolate.
00:29:53.193 --> 00:29:53.660
Yeah.
00:29:53.925 --> 00:29:57.055
So chocolate ha- okay, chocolate has cannabinoids in it.
00:29:57.778 --> 00:30:02.057
So you've heard marijuana's got whatever th- there's one cannabinoid people talk about.
00:30:02.546 --> 00:30:06.375
But they- we've, we know that there's over 125 different types of cannabinoids.
00:30:07.067 --> 00:30:14.392
Cannabinoids are nutrients that are found in marijuana first, and then second is chocolate.
00:30:15.122 --> 00:30:20.311
And it helps the limbic system, which is related to your body's ability to function.
00:30:20.907 --> 00:30:22.766
And chocolate can be considered a health food.
00:30:22.776 --> 00:30:24.644
Dark chocolate, I'm totally fine with that.
00:30:24.991 --> 00:30:26.954
100% fine with you eating dark chocolate.
00:30:27.631 --> 00:30:32.105
But we, if you don't have cravings if you, if your cravings are gone, that means you're healthier.
00:30:32.578 --> 00:30:34.373
And then the same thing with ca- coffee.
00:30:34.374 --> 00:30:41.741
I don't know if you're craving caffeine or the flavor or what kind of effect you get when you consume that coffee.
00:30:42.307 --> 00:30:46.692
So I don't ever, I've never, I don't get energy from coffee.
00:30:46.700 --> 00:30:48.555
Actually, sometimes it actually makes me sleepier.
00:30:48.904 --> 00:30:59.517
It's just- Yeah… I crave it, and then it's just But I'm not one of the people like,"I need it to think or to stay awake." I just kind of- … like it.
00:30:59.538 --> 00:31:08.142
But I have noticed, like after a meal, I'll want to have a, a, a cup of coffee and a cigar or, and chocolate, like all the time.
00:31:08.326 --> 00:31:14.009
So I'm thinking- Yeah … did I just build this up in my head and it's like conditioned response, or is it actually- No.
00:31:14.009 --> 00:31:15.127
No, it's physiological.
00:31:15.567 --> 00:31:16.915
So here's my answer to that.
00:31:17.384 --> 00:31:24.695
So I've been a fan of the carnivore diet since 2018, and the more meat people eat, the less cravings people have.
00:31:25.307 --> 00:31:27.930
That includes all kinds of cravings and addictions.
00:31:28.525 --> 00:31:30.172
So food is just one of them.
00:31:30.172 --> 00:31:33.244
Food and drink, and cigarettes, and gambling, and all these things.
00:31:33.865 --> 00:31:38.269
Those are, Those addictions are mitigated on a carnivore diet.
00:31:38.827 --> 00:31:46.683
So if you, when you cut out sugar and high, and grains, you end up with meat, vegetables, and some fruit.
00:31:47.496 --> 00:31:49.298
You'll see these cravings go away.
00:31:49.715 --> 00:31:50.796
That's my answer to that.
00:31:51.546 --> 00:31:53.846
The more carnivore you are, the faster it'll happen.
00:31:54.970 --> 00:31:55.280
Huh.
00:31:55.567 --> 00:31:55.805
All right.
00:31:55.805 --> 00:32:00.882
And is there a carnivore diet you recommend, or is it just like you said, vegetables, a few fruits, and meat?
00:32:02.491 --> 00:32:03.657
Yeah, it's just that simple.
00:32:03.695 --> 00:32:04.948
It's not complicated at all.
00:32:05.198 --> 00:32:13.156
Just eat a… For my first year of being carnivore, 2019, I had one rule, and that was eat as much meat as I possibly can every day.
00:32:14.330 --> 00:32:23.691
I did that for a year, and then after that I changed the rule: eat as much meat as I need for the day So it ended up being a little bit less.
00:32:24.698 --> 00:32:29.032
And then I have- No, I've heard people say that if you eat too much meat, it actually causes inflammation.
00:32:29.038 --> 00:32:31.789
Is that a lie, or is that truth, or is that just depends on the person?
00:32:31.789 --> 00:32:36.364
It's, no, it's not… it can, I can see that being true for some people who can't digest it.
00:32:37.260 --> 00:32:53.193
But the, there's a study done on the keto diet, this is back in 2018 or earlier, and they found that it was the the least, or I'm sorry, the most anti-inflammatory diet compared to any other diet.
00:32:53.928 --> 00:32:55.713
So it's super healing.
00:32:56.798 --> 00:33:06.285
And there's another study that, there's amazing studies that have come out just this year talking about ultra-processed food, which is refined sugar, refined oils, refined flour.
00:33:07.319 --> 00:33:12.655
And they kept the calories the same, and these people had… And the micronutrients were the same.
00:33:12.655 --> 00:33:17.281
The fat, protein, and carbs, and calories were all the same in these two groups.
00:33:17.282 --> 00:33:20.421
But one group had whole foods, the other group had ultra-processed food.
00:33:21.426 --> 00:33:29.339
And the people that had ultra-processed food, they didn't lose the weight, even though all the macros were the same.
00:33:30.070 --> 00:33:40.907
And then there's another study showing how regardless of LDL cholesterol, people on ultra-processed food had more heart disease, even though everything else would be, like, the same.
00:33:41.348 --> 00:33:49.352
So it's just the pure ultra-processed food that causes inflammation and high LDL, like heart disease and chronic disease.
00:33:50.165 --> 00:33:55.346
So All right You with me on that?
00:33:56.136 --> 00:33:56.505
Yeah.
00:33:56.508 --> 00:33:57.855
So where do we go from here?
00:33:57.857 --> 00:34:04.219
What is… If people are listening, they're going through the same experience with you or one of your team members, what's the next step from here?
00:34:06.256 --> 00:34:11.317
So after the diet, after the sinuses are cleaned up, then find out what's happening with your back.
00:34:11.318 --> 00:34:15.164
So it's gone up and down over the course of many years.
00:34:15.610 --> 00:34:19.264
To me, that sounds like you have some kind of a nutri- nutritional problem.
00:34:19.565 --> 00:34:22.235
Infection, toxicity, malnutrition.
00:34:22.244 --> 00:34:25.297
Something, one of those three affecting your back.
00:34:26.097 --> 00:34:28.543
And otherwise you would be healed, right?
00:34:29.353 --> 00:34:37.715
So that could be… Once you clean up your diet and fix up your sinuses, your back could be really good again.
00:34:38.737 --> 00:34:55.536
And if it's not, then we do the biofeedback muscle testing technique to find out what's going on with your back and f- and discover are you deficient in, nutrient, building block nutrients like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, or do you have some toxin hiding out there?
00:34:56.527 --> 00:34:56.952
Yeah.
00:34:58.157 --> 00:34:59.653
So that's to be discovered.
00:35:01.047 --> 00:35:01.518
Okay.
00:35:01.840 --> 00:35:02.349
All right.
00:35:03.989 --> 00:35:06.632
And you've been through physical therapy for that or chiropractic?
00:35:06.635 --> 00:35:07.998
You've done some body work for that?
00:35:08.592 --> 00:35:09.855
Yeah, I've done everything.
00:35:09.963 --> 00:35:12.835
Ice, stretching, deep tissue massage.
00:35:12.869 --> 00:35:14.659
That all helps for sure.
00:35:14.693 --> 00:35:15.153
Yeah.
00:35:15.423 --> 00:35:21.498
And at one point, they said I had a couple ruptured discs, but it just comes and goes.
00:35:21.498 --> 00:35:24.961
And obviously when I'm working out, it's less of an issue.
00:35:25.402 --> 00:35:27.733
It's when I don't work out, it becomes more of an issue.
00:35:28.088 --> 00:35:43.204
But this flare- Yeah … up was just, quote, unquote, "out of the blue", but so was the teeth pain, so I started thinking, "Is it connected?" So and then my sinuses, obviously the more pressure in the sinus, my… Like right now, my head's congested, my sinus is congested, my ears hurt a little, my tooth hurts a little.
00:35:43.204 --> 00:35:49.974
It's all connected, so I just wanna find the cause- Yeah … the root cause and find healing Right.
00:35:50.777 --> 00:35:53.032
Yeah, you got some work to do cleaning here.
00:35:53.454 --> 00:35:54.315
But let me tell you a story.
00:35:54.318 --> 00:36:03.360
So one of my practitioners, her husband is a tennis pro, so he teaches tennis, and he had tennis elbow, right?
00:36:03.362 --> 00:36:16.157
His elbow hurt, and he tried all kinds of body work and acupuncture and supplements and… So what happened was her father passed away, and they live out of the country.
00:36:16.942 --> 00:36:25.771
So right before this, right before she got this news, she had purchased three pounds of liver, and so she cooked it.
00:36:26.081 --> 00:36:32.315
Like sh- she's getting ready to leave to fly out, and she had this three, fresh liver.
00:36:32.318 --> 00:36:44.282
She cooked it, gave it to her husband and two sons, and was like, "Here, eat this." She was gone for a week, and he said within three days his elbow pain was completely gone.
00:36:45.152 --> 00:36:55.635
So I had another patient who, he was in a car accident in 1990, broke his back, and he was paralyzed for about three months, but then he recovered.
00:36:57.186 --> 00:37:05.650
And he owns a tool and die shop with his brother, and he had pain going from his feet up to his back every day.
00:37:05.730 --> 00:37:08.244
He stood at the… he wasn't doing executive work.
00:37:08.246 --> 00:37:10.211
He was doing the labor.
00:37:11.197 --> 00:37:18.103
And so every… He worked seven days a week, and for 25 years, he had nine out of 10 pain going from his feet up to his back.
00:37:18.775 --> 00:37:20.509
I told him this story about the liver.
00:37:21.514 --> 00:37:23.356
And and he was eating a carnivore diet.
00:37:23.356 --> 00:37:27.481
He was eating one steak a day for dinner, and that was it for a year and a half.
00:37:27.690 --> 00:37:28.916
It didn't touch his pain.
00:37:29.775 --> 00:37:39.184
So I said, "Instead of eating one steak a day, I want you to eat a pound of liver for dinner, and that's it." And by the end of the week, his pain was gone.
00:37:40.577 --> 00:37:45.382
And over the course of six months- Wow … he would be able to… It's wild.
00:37:45.382 --> 00:37:46.257
This is the wildest story.
00:37:46.259 --> 00:37:46.496
Yeah.
00:37:46.704 --> 00:37:52.621
After a few weeks, he stopped the liver consumption, and the pain came back in a day and a half, two days.
00:37:53.373 --> 00:37:58.204
But then four months later, he stopped the liver, and the pain came back four or five days later.
00:37:58.942 --> 00:38:02.599
Then six months later, he stopped it for a week, and then the pain would come back.
00:38:03.010 --> 00:38:10.425
So the liver not only got rid of all the pain, but it was actually healing his nervous system and his skelet- the musculoskeletal system.
00:38:11.268 --> 00:38:15.483
So having said that, liver is the most important food for human beings.
00:38:15.740 --> 00:38:21.233
It's always been a sacred food amongst traditional tribes going back centuries.
00:38:21.994 --> 00:38:25.208
And then red meat is next, and then white meat is after that.
00:38:25.905 --> 00:38:26.768
So- You know what?
00:38:26.960 --> 00:38:27.043
Yeah.
00:38:27.632 --> 00:38:29.286
I'm being totally serious.
00:38:29.289 --> 00:38:43.650
But- I don't know if I've ever in my life ate liver I'm not saying it's bad, but I've had pain my whole life and medical issues my whole life, 'cause I remember my mom, she refused to make it or cook it.
00:38:43.650 --> 00:38:43.661
Yeah.
00:38:44.494 --> 00:38:48.164
And then in my adult life, I don't think I've ever had it.
00:38:48.259 --> 00:38:53.329
So I think I'm gonna go to Publix or the grocery store- Yeah … and get some liver, see what happens.
00:38:54.179 --> 00:38:54.652
Yeah.
00:38:54.923 --> 00:38:56.128
So you gotta know how to cook it.
00:38:56.833 --> 00:38:57.650
How do you cook it?
00:38:58.788 --> 00:39:06.396
It's high heat, and you have, When I do it, I put onions down first, and the onions caramelize, right?
00:39:06.398 --> 00:39:07.708
They turn brown and sweet.
00:39:08.253 --> 00:39:11.532
So you put the li- and the liver, like beef liver is a thin strip.
00:39:12.547 --> 00:39:15.686
So you throw it down on top of that for what, like a minute?
00:39:16.961 --> 00:39:18.190
And then you flip it over.
00:39:18.226 --> 00:39:20.777
May- maybe one to three minutes I'll say per side.
00:39:21.413 --> 00:39:24.661
But you don't wanna make it too rubbery, right?
00:39:24.673 --> 00:39:26.251
So you're just getting it a little bit brown.
00:39:27.170 --> 00:39:28.559
And then I use gravy.
00:39:29.170 --> 00:39:39.295
But to make your life easy… And it's super fast, but to make your life easy, I always go to a Ger- there's a German restaurant up the road, and I get chicken liver or I get beef liver.
00:39:39.302 --> 00:39:45.628
Every time I go there I… not every time, but a lot of times I get liver there I'm gonna try it.
00:39:45.628 --> 00:39:46.646
It is- I'm gonna see what happens.
00:39:46.646 --> 00:39:46.675
Yeah.
00:39:46.682 --> 00:39:49.268
That'd be great if that's all, if that was a big helper.
00:39:50.262 --> 00:39:53.523
Oh, it's definitely a big- And the more you eat, the better off you are, for sure.
00:39:54.362 --> 00:39:54.570
Huh.
00:39:54.583 --> 00:39:57.922
Yeah, and livers, and liver supplements, like liver glandulars, they don't cut it.
00:39:58.545 --> 00:39:59.268
It's not good enough.
00:40:00.380 --> 00:40:01.454
Yeah, I can see that.
00:40:02.126 --> 00:40:02.510
Yeah.
00:40:02.583 --> 00:40:04.036
You gotta get the pounds of liver.
00:40:05.579 --> 00:40:06.146
All right.
00:40:06.237 --> 00:40:10.990
It's been super informative, and now I got some definite action steps to take.
00:40:11.007 --> 00:40:13.295
Anything else before we wrap this up?
00:40:13.331 --> 00:40:19.201
Would be in a normal session, and then also we're gonna transition to how can our listeners get ahold of you and your team?
00:40:20.240 --> 00:40:21.742
So like in a normal session?
00:40:22.213 --> 00:40:23.985
No, I think we covered all that.
00:40:24.722 --> 00:40:27.010
We covered everything related to your MVX score.
00:40:28.168 --> 00:40:28.635
Okay.
00:40:29.110 --> 00:40:37.250
And then when it comes to our listeners and getting ahold of you so they can run their own tests and follow up with you, what's the best way to reach you, Doc?
00:40:38.697 --> 00:40:41.708
The website is the nutritionalhealingcenter.com.
00:40:42.692 --> 00:40:47.594
And then from there you can actually order MVX Plus without even talking to us.
00:40:48.353 --> 00:40:52.126
There's a button on the upper right corner of the website called MVX Test.
00:40:53.190 --> 00:40:58.523
You can call the office, and everybody at my office is super friendly, and have them help you out.
00:40:59.255 --> 00:41:02.777
And then w- And then the, th- then you get the score, and n- now you have a game.
00:41:02.786 --> 00:41:10.320
The game is make your score better, and it'll guide you down the right path, and then you can track progress.
00:41:10.324 --> 00:41:14.434
So I have my patients run it every two months so we know it's working.
00:41:14.436 --> 00:41:24.847
So I know that my therapies are working, and I know that the patient's lifestyle choices are working, and it's like this is the greatest blood test for humanity.
00:41:25.664 --> 00:41:28.331
So it measures, guides, and tracks your health improvement.
00:41:28.902 --> 00:41:32.510
And then as you get healthier, symptoms go away, right?
00:41:32.510 --> 00:41:42.547
And you get younger, and you can actually physically see in your blood that you're younger because they've tracked the five-year mortality rate depending on that overall score.
00:41:43.351 --> 00:41:46.378
And then you can also see if you're malnourished in your blood.
00:41:47.025 --> 00:41:49.797
And the test is cheap I charge $49 for it.
00:41:50.692 --> 00:42:07.231
That's it So for the listeners, they're gonna go to your website, book the test, and then once they get the results, they can book a c- consulting call with you or your team, and then from there you put together a plan.
00:42:07.385 --> 00:42:08.146
Is that correct?
00:42:08.545 --> 00:42:08.797
Yeah.
00:42:08.797 --> 00:42:14.036
So we have like a… It's… We don't go visit by visit like if you go see a medical doctor.
00:42:14.085 --> 00:42:23.257
We have a plan that's, It starts three, with a three to six-month membership, and then after that it goes to a per visit fee, right?
00:42:23.268 --> 00:42:27.172
So like we're in we're reversing complex chronic illness.
00:42:27.775 --> 00:42:30.543
And like I said at the beginning, it's six months to two years.
00:42:31.592 --> 00:42:38.248
And so if somebody says I wanna just get one reading," like we… I think we have that opportunity, like you can just get one visit.
00:42:39.014 --> 00:42:42.192
We're… Our job is to guide people to actually get results, you know what I'm saying?
00:42:42.195 --> 00:42:44.373
We have that responsibility to get results.
00:42:45.150 --> 00:42:49.838
So if I come to you and I say, "Doc, I want my blood pressure healthy and normal.
00:42:49.889 --> 00:42:57.355
I wanna see that nice 120 over 75 or whatever it is, and then I wanna get my allergies under control.
00:42:57.355 --> 00:43:08.139
That would be a dream come true to not have allergies anymore, and then to not have this pressure in my face, storms come by and I start getting a headache." How, where would that start in your plan?
00:43:08.152 --> 00:43:10.048
That would be a six-month subscription?
00:43:10.826 --> 00:43:12.422
Pr- yeah, me- six-month membership.
00:43:12.717 --> 00:43:21.161
So I have seven other practitioners in my office, and their fees are less than mine 'cause I'm the guy like on social media, so people call and they ask for me.
00:43:21.630 --> 00:43:26.481
I only see patients two days a week, but my other providers are three and four days a week.
00:43:27.199 --> 00:43:31.244
So their fees are one third to two, two thirds less than mine.
00:43:32.166 --> 00:43:40.996
So anyways, yeah, there's a wide variety of membership options and pricing, and we match you up with the right person, right?
00:43:40.998 --> 00:43:45.193
We try to match you up as best we can personality wise and what your goals are.
00:43:45.925 --> 00:43:49.036
So her name is… My person that does that is Priscilla.
00:43:49.456 --> 00:43:54.934
We also have Liz, but yeah, so just call the office and see if you see what we can do for you.
00:43:55.492 --> 00:43:57.510
So for me it would be Priscilla or Liz.
00:43:57.612 --> 00:43:58.650
But Priscilla you said?
00:43:58.960 --> 00:44:04.795
Yeah, to talk to, to find out like if you would work best with me or one of my other pr- practitioners.
00:44:05.672 --> 00:44:05.969
Gotcha.
00:44:05.969 --> 00:44:06.826
If you want to- Yeah yeah.
00:44:07.023 --> 00:44:07.331
Yeah.
00:44:07.965 --> 00:44:11.420
Like clearly I'm not going through menopause, so you don't… There's an expert for that.
00:44:11.456 --> 00:44:12.244
I'm don't need that.
00:44:12.454 --> 00:44:18.469
But you're saying for sinuses and allergies and what I'm dealing with, that would be the expert for me.
00:44:19.414 --> 00:44:28.039
Yeah, we all improve health, and we all have… Like diet is easy and sinuses are easy and back pain is easy.
00:44:28.784 --> 00:44:51.829
But if s- if a woman comes in- That's great to hear,' cause I've been struggling But if we have a menopausal woman calling Liz or s- or Priscilla, and they're like… And Priscilla would say maybe not see Dr. Schmidt, maybe see one of the other practitioners," 'cause they're all female, so Yeah, but we all get rid of parasites, we all get rid… we all talk about teeth and mouth.
00:44:52.496 --> 00:44:56.315
We all talk about all the things that are important for improving health.
00:44:56.335 --> 00:44:57.672
We all run MVX Plus.
00:44:58.353 --> 00:45:03.766
Yeah, and like- And you can be- … I know you, you've been on the show twice, so I feel comfortable with you, but you can only see so many people.
00:45:03.802 --> 00:45:05.750
There's only so many hours in the day, so- … yeah.
00:45:06.023 --> 00:45:06.396
Yeah.
00:45:06.940 --> 00:45:07.465
Awesome.
00:45:07.731 --> 00:45:08.210
Awesome.
00:45:08.260 --> 00:45:13.911
Before we wrap up this episode, anything else you want to add to the conversation or share with our listeners, Darren?
00:45:15.554 --> 00:45:17.041
No, not really.
00:45:17.436 --> 00:45:18.614
I think we're all set.
00:45:19.507 --> 00:45:19.896
All right.
00:45:19.896 --> 00:45:20.992
Thank you for being here.
00:45:21.398 --> 00:45:23.775
And ladies and gentlemen, like our slogan says, Listen.
00:45:23.775 --> 00:45:24.005
Do.
00:45:24.005 --> 00:45:24.528
Repeat.
00:45:24.554 --> 00:45:34.818
For Life! Don't just listen to the great information Darren shared with you, do it, repeat it each day, form those good habits, so you can have a great life in this world and eternity to come.
00:45:34.989 --> 00:45:36.701
So I'm David Pasqualone.
00:45:36.791 --> 00:45:38.025
I'm gonna go buy some liver.
00:45:38.563 --> 00:45:40.679
This is our good friend, Dr. Darren Schmidt.
00:45:40.898 --> 00:45:42.326
Darren, thank you for being here.
00:45:42.938 --> 00:45:43.639
You're welcome.
00:45:43.664 --> 00:45:44.494
Thanks for having me.
00:45:44.900 --> 00:45:45.423
Awesome.
00:45:45.425 --> 00:45:49.500
And ladies and gentlemen, we love you, God bless, and we'll see you in the next episode.
00:45:50.123 --> 00:45:50.434
Ciao!
