This week on the Pray Without Ceasing Podcast, Brother Matthew, Sister Tammy, and Brother Jason come together for a powerful conversation titled “Come Closer.”
James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” But how do we draw closer when life feels overwhelming, prayers seem unanswered, and the storms around us refuse to stop?
Together, we examine what it means to move beyond simply knowing about God and experience a deeper relationship with Him. We discuss the dangers of spiritual distance, the courage it takes to come as we are, and the things we must release to move closer to our Heavenly Father.
Through Scripture, heartfelt conversation, and a touching story about a frightened child finding comfort in his father’s arms, this episode offers a powerful reminder: You don’t have to wait for the storm to end before running to God.
Sometimes the thunder doesn’t stop—but when you come closer, the Father’s heartbeat becomes louder than the storm.
If you’ve been feeling discouraged, distracted, ashamed, or distant, this episode is your reminder that Jesus is still calling you by name and inviting you to come closer.
