Why do so many panels fall flat?
The moderator improvises. Every panelist answers every question. Everyone agrees with each other. The audience sits quietly. And after 45 minutes, attendees leave with no clear takeaway.
The surprising truth is that panel failures are rarely caused by bad panelists. More often, they're the result of poor design—or no design at all.
In this episode, we explore the most common reasons panels underperform and discuss how intentional panel design can transform a passive discussion into an engaging, thought-provoking experience. You'll learn why successful panels require more than putting smart people on stage and hoping for the best.
Whether you're an event organizer, conference planner, moderator, or speaker, this episode will help you rethink how panels are structured and delivered.
