17th & Tillamook: Hey Steph. Hello. Should we address the fact that your clothes keep changing and mine don't? Yes, it's because we're talking about the elements today. And so I always do this. It's funny because as discussed with Steven and our colors associated with the day of the week, I am definitely focused on my day of the week colors. I can't play this multi-day black. Saturday's always black. Rocking that necklace like nobody's business. Whenever I shall color coordinate my clothes either to the ceremony or to the chakra or to the You have a really colorful wardrobe, I will say that. It's you're very capable of doing so. Yeah, I try. so we are in week three. But we are literally in like hour four. I mean of recording. Yes. Once upon a time. And we are in hour six of a hard work and sorted day. So once upon a time, I believe that we did three episodes in one. Yeah, but the zodiac episodes were long. And we were really exhausted. So we're gonna try to do this four. and so here we We're gonna remind everybody a little bit why we're doing what we're doing, and in a weird, funny little step-centered sort of way. well, now three weeks ago when we were first starting this, I found myself writing and writing and writing and coming into something that felt like clarity. So, with that, I will send us off again in that opening statement, if you will, of Why the hell we're even taking the time to talk about this? So this week we bring up out of the four elements the second masculine element, like masculine energetic element or the element with masculine energy. I definitely would have thought it was Earth that had the masculine energy. Really? Yeah. Okay. So But now that I think about it, no, of course not. It's Mother Earth. Right. So It's cool how Clarity shows up. Right. It is Mother Earth. So no. the this third week and this third element of air is the other masculine energy. So that holds a masculine energy. So here we go down our like spec list of specs. Yes. So in the Andean Cosmovision, air sits in the northern direction. This makes sense. Does it? I feel like it does. Do you know do you can you say why? This is not a quiz because I don't have an answer to this. okay, so when I was like six and didn't understand north, south, east, and west, north was there. So there's my one logic. My two logic is I think that we can more viscerally experience air when it is cold. And so that's why North made sense to me. Fascinating. All right. Well let's just stick with some of that. Okay. Wayra Wayra is the name in Quechua. And even as I wrote this out, this also needs to be a deep dive. And then when you say what needs to be a deep dive, I don't know. Something s I mean, I've been learning so much about the Andean cosmovision that I don't even know where I'd begin, but something there because the Quechua language itself is not one that one can just translate directly. And so even for me to say air Wayra there's so much there to say that I guess all I'm gonna land on with everybody here is that a lot of ancestral traditions, ancestral philosophies. They have they have this perspective that is called animism. And basically what it is is that all entities in the world have a soul, have purpose. they I mean, for lack of a better, more sacred term, right now, they're all sacred entities. But they're all like living beings. Everything is a living being. So one story that my teacher will talk about all the time is that when he was a little boy, he would walk around and kick the rocks. And his father had a long conversation with him about like, why are you kicking the rock? The the the rock is is is in and of itself its own entity. It has a spirit, it has a soul, has a purpose. Like you have no business kicking a rock. So that being said, when I think of air and wind and Wayra And it just so happens that my north from my garden is like direction sacred mountain. And it's right in front of us. Yeah. Or behind us, or however we want to say that. And so I don't have a good reason as to why north and the Indian cosmovision is associated with the element of air, other than to me, it also makes sense in this like mountaintop. It's the closest place to the heavens. It's this like actual access to spirit. and Wayra itself, like when we're talking about air and breeze and all these next like semantic ideas that we're going to be getting into. If you put life behind it, it makes a bunch of sense. And I I feel. Oftentimes that when things make sense, we can't always put all the words to it. Right. Or definitions to it. Like it just as you said, when I was little, north was just up. Yeah. And so maybe that's enough. Yeah. So in the North American tradition also sits in the north. And here their words were, Brittany, winter winds. So this cold winter wind, elders and wisdom. So again, elders and wisdom. Through air allows us this connection. Yeah. Right. In the Celtic tradition, it sits in the east. Do you know why? Like the morning breeze would come in from the east. And then they, of course, associated it with dawn or the beginning of things, new beginnings, inspiration, mental clarity, and breath. So right here with these words, we're already gonna see. I've been sharing Andean cosmovision, North American traditions, Celtic recognitions of all these things, and the traditional Chinese recognition. Right. And you're gonna see that they all have everything to do with one another. Totally. Yeah. And and again we go back to my like, isn't this crazy that all of these ancestral traditions who didn't have WhatsApp or internet shared all quite frankly the pretty much the same mmm not the same beliefs, that's kind of a big thing to say, but kind of the same rooted experience and And what I believe was happening is that animism was the way that early people existed. Sure. And so when everybody can see the rock or the river or the breeze as a living entity with a soul and a spirit. It it makes sense nowadays when we look back on those belief systems that there was a lot of correlation. Yeah. So in the traditional Chinese philosophies, air was in the West, identified itself with autumn. And it's like the energy of completion, letting go and harvest. So there that autumn and that harvest make sense to us northerners. the energy of completion makes a lot of sense with new beginnings. as well as elders, wisdom, and like winter. So again, to me, all these funny little lines make up a a pretty clear weave. in our tarot deck, what's the suit of air? Swords. Right. And do you know why? well I think this is very layered. Yeah. swords move through the air. Swords cut. And our air element is a lot about how we choose to use our voice. That is correct. Yeah, and I think words can be really cutting. That is correct. Yeah. I mean that's along those lines, right? So I have here like the Power the the sharp power of the human mind. Yes. Intellect, logic. So here we see like human mind, intellect, logic. These are all masculine energetic traits. the invisible swift clear of the air. It is like Ethereal space of reason and intellect. So this this like swift clear sword, the cutting through the air, right? Yeah. Has the same stuff to do with this space of like reason, intellect, headspace. Sure, because yeah, if your head space is cluttered, you're not going to be able to to be swift. Ennunciate to get your point across clearly. Yeah. Yeah. It makes a lot of sense actually. I think our grandfather Swung a sword. Is that a weird what is that sport called? Fencing. Maybe not. Maybe that's something I made up. I feel like you might have made that up. Murky mind. Sadia I wouldn't put it past Walter. zodiacal signs. Who were our three air signs? Aquarius. This one I know very well. Gemini. Yes. Who am I missing? Libra. Yes. Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. I would also like to say, because we have a good friend who's a Gemini woman, and then I am married to a very, very, very Aquarian man. And so in all my time of studying, there is a difference between like an airy woman. Sure. And an airy man. Well, I would like to change that to an airy masculine and an airy feminine. Yeah, what I specifically read was like there's a difference between an airy woman and an airy man. Okay. But yeah, as we this was an interview that I was listening to. And so sure, these days we don't we don't what's that must be an we try to recognize a more spectrum look at these things. But I gotta say, this old school lady who wrote a lot of books, she was she said that pretty point blank. And then as soon as I heard it, I was like Because my our Gemini friend down at home, sure, she's like chitty, chatty, talky, party, fun, planner, all this stuff. And then like a an an airy man is gonna be disconnected and distraction. if we are comparing this airy woman who is a Gemini with the airy man of your husband, I also feel like there is credence to be paid to the youngness of a Gemini and the wisdom of an Aquarius. Fair. And the differences being rooted in some of it as well. That's really good. That's really good, Renee. Yeah. So that lady who wrote books. I just think that when we say man or woman and we really mean and here's where I'm getting going with this. What we want. To the end of the last three weeks is balance. And so the idea of we can have a super airy man who has a lot of feminine qualities that are in a shadow. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Fair enough. I just gotta say when I heard her say that, I was like, I get it. It makes sense. Yeah, it makes sense. Okay, so our what do we know about our zodiacal air signs? what do we know about our zodiacal air signs? they're quick witted. Quick witted. Yeah. Pretty adaptable. They tend to be good commun. They tend to communicate. Whether it is good and clear, remains to be seen. and I think hand in hand with that communication comes curiosity. Yeah, an intellect. what's the word like a drive for but knowledge. Yeah, like a academic a desire for always wanting not always wanting to know, but like to be right, but to to know in curiosity and understand. Yeah. Very good. Okay, so artifacts on our altars. These are gonna look like things like I have a feather on my altar these days. Yeah. Well, good. What's what is it from? It's a crow. It's like a perfect beautiful crow feather too. I love it. I need a crow feather. I need a crow feather. You're in the right place. feathers, yes. What else? I would say well, my incense is definitely air. Incense because of when we light. Like think about an incense stick. Totally. It's literally three of the elements. Yeah. Right. But we light it so that it manifests smoke so that we can connect. Yes. It also cleanses, but here we get into deeper dives. Sure. I wanna say something with like singing or music or good instruments instruments, chimes, bells. Harmonica. Yeah. yes, yes, yes, and yes. right now we are also gonna be talking about I forget if I switched into these, but it's gonna make more sense if I do identify the principal chakra. to with the air element would be, do you know? I mean I wanna say somewhere up in here. I know, but it but it could also be my throat. yeah, it's funny. It's it's like the heart expansion. Okay, yeah, it would not have gone there. But I certainly like as a Reiki practitioner, I certainly identify both of these. Yeah. And this gets like spirit. Sure. Okay. my throat was really where I felt like that was gonna sit. Right. And that does make a ton of sense. But also like air is this thing that does not contain, right? And that's how we want our hearts to be, is what you're saying. Well, expansion. Okay. Okay. But yeah, you're not wrong. Like I say, when I when I work on people, I definitely like keep the air element alive for both of these. Yeah. Because it's obvio it's it's clear that like I mean I recognize the expansion here, but this is like where the air is. So you're just identifying the primary element then. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. let's see. So that being said, the color to the heart chakra. Red. No, no. Sorry. Green. Yeah. Okay. Green and pink will recognize for stones. Okay. Because so like green stones on your altar are things like serpentine, emerald, aventurine. Aventurina. av I don't know how to say it. I think you got it. It's how I would say it. and then we also use because it's like heart space, we also use like rose quartz, rodonita, rodocrosita. Like Rhodocr. I don't know them. Actually, now that I come to think about it, I don't know them. Rhodoc. I don't know. Rhodonite? okay. Rhodocrisite? I don't know, but they're it almost sounds like you're making them up. Rhodonite is one, but rhodocrita. rose quartz, I already said, and then what was I just thinking? All right, my favorite here. If we're gonna extend ourselves up a here into the throat chocolate short, this is in like Chrysocolla Crissacola. Is that in English? I think it's in I don't know what it's in. Chrysocolla it's a it's the stone that I'll always use for this this aquamarine sort of like throat clean. The speckledy looking kind of. Yeah, I always bring everybody a Chrysocolla. Right. So those are gonna be stones that resonate with their color. And again, when I work with Reiki, I with crystals. And so those are particularly the stones that I use on these actual chakras, and this is like air expensive. Right. and so then our elementals or our animals or our entities that have everything to do with the air element. That somehow can go onto our altar. Yes, like your crow feather, I have hummingbird feathers, I have con no, I don't have eagle feathers, falcons, bees I work with a lot, dragonflies, fairies. last but not least on all of our little bullet pointed specs are the organs that go along with traditional Chinese medicine. Do you know what these organs would be? Well, I wanna say my lungs. Yes. and heart, since we're talking about heart. The next one's gonna be large intestine. Okay. So lungs, the home of the heart. Okay, sure. The pericardium, so like this protecting of the heart. And then the large intestinal So we're working with the physical act of breathing. Yeah. And the letting go of physical or emotional waste. okay. So that actual we're back to that kind of separation. Yeah. Well, yeah, like the fire element had a lot to do with our digestive system. Yeah. All the enzymes in our stomach that breaks things down. Right. Like the destruction of things or the breaking them down to their elements and their fractures. And so this large intestine is the one that lets go. Of waste. right. The small intestine like pulled things apart and whatnot. And then the large intestine is the one that lets go of the waste. That's literal path out. Yeah. And so, like, are we able to let go? Let it go. Okay. Okay. So are we seeing all this shit? Like, totally matches up. I mean, totally is an aggressive way of saying that. But sure, once we talk about it, I'm with you. Okay, so the air in. Carl Jung, again, was our, let's call him our modern philosopher who brought to our senses the idea that these four elements not only were foundational, primary colors to everything that exists, but he wanted to take it to a level that was this will be the absolute foundation of our personal development. So his word to air was. Thinking. And he referred to it as the intellectual processing of data. It's long way of saying thinking. Yeah. Like, like the taking in of what's happening around us, and where fire takes it in and decides, can I digest this? Can I deal with this? This one is like, what can I think about this? How can I process this? How can I analyze or how can I manage this? Kind of. I don't know. There's a little difference in there. So air being the second and only other. Masculine energy, with all of these elements. We again we're gonna go back to those same words: direct, linear, organized, objective, clear-minded, clarity, sense of direction, maintains authority, decisive, and an ability to break with the old, dedicated to transformation and make a new. So fire is definitely the one element that's like transform. So alchemic alchemically, like in the physical world, you know, forests burn down and because of those burned floors, then we have like it was the burning method, no, in the farming. Total. the transformation. I I when in ceremony, I speak to wind or air, being like this soft, subtle invitation to transformation. Sure. it'll move things and it'll transform things, but it's not this like necessarily destructive fire. It's gonna be like the wind blows through and shifts the things where they are. I my brain goes to like erosion, just this gradual wearing down and processing. Perfect. Okay, so in the Andean Cosmovision, here we're talking about releasing stagnant energy and aiming for mental clarity. Which I think makes a lot of sense. If you if you don't get it out, it's gonna stagnate. Right. To l let it We were talking about I know some people who need that lesson. In the tarot deck again, we have swords, we have heart space, traditional Chinese medicine. So we're talking about breath of life that brings clarity, moving spirit with the ability to clear away old mental habits and make space for clarity and love and ease. Letting go of what no longer serves you in an effort to exhale. We allow for the heart space to be opened and expanded. Yeah. I mean, ties directly into the the Andean. Yeah, that's kind of as I was going through and trying, like there's so much information. And then there was this point where I just tried to take all of these specs that we just had and try to make sense of the moment today. Yeah. So those are my efforts in doing that. Well done. Thank you. So the air inside of me, and how do we find, how do we get into touch, how do we connect ourselves then with that element of air? So we'll start with the positive or the light or when it's in balance. To be like intellectually inclined, to have spiritual clarity, someone who's comfortable working with wisdom or continually with this curiosity toward wisdom or learning. the energy of knowledge. So again, I think that person that tends toward that curiosity, mental intuition and reason, logic. So for instance, like I yeah, we needed to put shelves together the other day. And I literally looked at the thing once and I was like, Yeah, here you do it. I don't even want to look at this thing anymore. That feels right. Yeah. Like, whoa. You know. And I think I even asked you to do something today where it was like, Yeah, I don't know, I don't If I needed to, I could. And I would. part of living in community for me is like, this is literally not a forte and I have no interest in looking at this thing anymore. So like and it's literally all those things. It's not that I don't have curiosity. It's that I'm most exhausted. And I she says out loud. that's how everybody feels looking at IKEA instructions. I thought so. And then I went to a dinner with a bunch of women who cannot get enough of putting together IKEA things literally in the next day. So air in its balanced, light, and positive. We're talking like communication, clear communication, clear connection, bridge towards spirit, dreamscape, inhaling clarity and inspiration, exhaling what no longer serves, inhaling balance and conscientiousness. Like essential moving and lightness, creativity, openness, and light and and more more lightness. So to be that person that kind of embodies those things, again, I think there's a real gray, like you gotta be real careful, like how much lightness, right? Yeah. Can can one person invoke? I mean, this is the struggle of balance for or yeah, and sometimes like Well, we live in a place, I don't know if you remember this, but if you go into like the neighboring town where everyone's doing medicine, everyone's super elevated, everyone's just a fucking guru, everyone is like, we should meditate. Like, hold on, man, like who's paying the bills? I have no idea. And watch out, there's a ditch in front of you, you know, but they're just float, float, float, float, float. And so and so there's a real lack of any other element. It's just and we often say like it's just a bunch of air over there. Yeah. So Speaking toward those like heavier places or shadow side of too much air, like our very breath, we can use it to expand, or we can begin to feel suctuated. Or as I've just mentioned, we can lose ourselves. So an overflow or excess of air will tend toward a disconnect, unreliability, detached character, rigidity. Difficulty in concentrating, distracted, flighty, obsession with order. Like you like you're not flowing, like you're not letting Okay. Sure. Rules, cleanliness, judgmental. So now for all of us that can remember, maybe back with our zodiac signs, I mean Libra. Totally. Yeah, like this sort of right. Yeah, the balance, the justice, the equal judgmental, overcritical sarcasm. if it's extinguished or deficient. So if we have too little air, unresolved grief. So you're sitting there in that stagnation of grief. Also, we're dealing with grief like here in the chest space, right? stagnation or emptiness, lingering sadness. quick to cry without an actual trigger. So I know who you're thinking about right now. Of course you do. but there are typically triggers that are happening to her. It's just that she's very triggerable. Well, I don't know. I mean, I like to give her a little bit of credit. So I had a hard time imagining, like, wow, what is that like quick to cry without a natural trigger? I think that she has a lot of triggers. I think she's quick to cry. Okay. Or her triggers are highly sensitive triggers, but I think she's quick to cry. All right, fair. along those lines, low self-esteem, unworthiness, need for external approval, anxiety with transition. No. Inability to let go. Okay. Lack of inspiration, poor boundaries, and being a perfectionist in an effort to overcompensate or seek control. It's it's not even funny. how do we balance that? Well we visit home and we visit home and we visit home and we visit home and we continually work on all of our elements. So how to bring our air into balance. allowing our breath to cultivate inner silence. allowing our breath to observe thoughts without judgment. So meditate. writing, writing, writing, talking, talking, talking. But of course within balance. contact with open spaces. Tops of mountains. Yes. I don't know how many people get to like go into meadows. But I even thought like when you're on the coast of an ocean, like open. Of course, you're sitting there in front of the water, but there is just so open. Open sky, open ocean. I mean, I'd even say the picture I got from my own house last night. Just open skies. Yes. Whenever you can get out to open skies. So hard. And of course, a huge way to get into contact with our air is breath work. Of course. Like actual breath work. Yeah. Like the copy written breath work. Like breath do my breath work. also I I had a good friend of mine. We were talking about breath work for a long time and she was like, it's also like not a thing we have to pay $75 to go do with somebody. You can just focus on your breathing. art, creativity, and music. These are all invoking our air element. Obviously, and like all the elements, there are certain dances and certain and specific yoga postures and sequences that you can do to like obviously manifest flow but also work with your air element, like chest expansions, of course. This is all just like this. and along those lines, Qi Gong which I even do like really basic Qi Gong that I braid together with affirmations, and I do this in ceremonial a lot because it's like this various. It could be a very simple, you know, and soft flowing body movement and at the same time to add affirmations to it, I think helps focus the mind. heartwork expansion visualization. So to to invoke our air element is to go into a meditation, but really to work with visualizing. So you're like opening up third third eye sort of stuff. And I added to this clean. Do laundry and I then I realized as I put laundry on is like I don't mean put it in the machine, I mean hang it on the line. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So I hope for everyone out there you can hang laundry on a line because I know and I have sweeping. And because I know when I'm feeling stressed, c this clean cleaning lots of helps. Yeah, lots of people have also hanging laundry for me helps. I'm getting outside. There's air, there's sun, there's a lot of the elements, but I'm like hanging laundry. and sweeping. Sweeping is like old witch sweeping it out, letting it go, using the air. flow, let the day go, and break a couple of rules. Flow is funny in your air list. I get it. That's why air and water are always a trouble for me. So before we close out this episode, in an effort to manifest sponsors on YouTube. My latest episode about air has been brought to you by Pisonay Coffee Roasters. El Café de las Familias. I feel like I should have brought my mug. Yeah. Yeah, we'll do that next time. Also, by lovely humans out here in Northeast Portland for giving us a space, a roof, and all day long. Thanks, guys. Thank you for the microphones, the time, the space, the tripods. And the intellect to get us here on YouTube Patience. patience is very airy. And so in our anecdotal close to yet another elemental episode. Yeah. How is it then that we work through the process of getting into touch and bringing these into balance? I feel like air is probably one of the most accessible. same more. Well, to your exact point, you don't have to pay $75 to focus on breathing. We can all count to four and do box breathing. That's right. you do not have to spend money to have an open, honest conversation. It helps that it's a therapist that you're having an open, honest conversation with. She's gonna say that. But you don't have to. And it's probably also very necessary for you to have that same open, honest conversation with the person who needs to have that conversation with you. Or not just your therapist. Not just your therapist. So the first thing we have to do is get into contact with like the air that exists in us. Yes. And then the next question we ask ourselves is How do I feel? well, we have to check in with do we have an excess of air? Right. or are we kind of deficient? Are we lacking? Which I think it might be easier to recognize the deficiency of air if we see a higher excess and everything else. Because again, these four elements are all like hand in hand woven and braided. They are the tapestry of you. So what does that look like? Like where are you at on that scale of balance? The questions I asked myself here were like, How do I respond to my mind? I my immediate thought was a little bit more like, How am I responding to my environment? How am I snappy? Yeah, I I just gotta caution this because how do I respond to my environment? We could answer through the perspective or lens of every element. Because if I'm snappy, I'm too much fire. Yeah. Or if I'm snappy because I'm moody and I'm feeling too much, it's too much. So where I wanted to go with how do I respond to my mind was like in part when I saw those IKEA instructions, like what did that make me feel? Like, this is not for me. I shall give up. Like my yes, my mind does not You know, and then someone passes me a really good book, like my mind can do that. So so it's only if it's nonfiction. Yeah, where do I no, I'm trying to get better, but I have not picked up one book on this vacation. Excellent. Either nonfiction or nothing. Time is of the essence. My other question I felt today that I tried to use to like get into touch with our amounts of and I don't know, but it was how do I connect with others? Yeah, I think that's where I was going with how am I reacting to my or how do I respond to my environment. Because yeah, if somebody else is a trigger and or something they say sort of sets or Yeah, I know I almost don't work either. Well, I almost think it's how do I internally respond to other people around me. That's like water. Because like our internal invisible place inside, like in like our moon sign is what like is my internal reaction. Yeah, it's funny. This one's a little bit harder to measure where we're at. Yeah. Where it's pretty accessible to to address. It is very hard to identify where the levels are. Yeah, I agree. And I'm just seeing that kind of now. I mean, it could you could kind of go up a little bit more in that list of things and like how do I communicate? This is what thought process is like. I almost feel like where our first two elements, when we get to this point, we can ask ourselves active questions. I feel like this one is a little bit more we need to ask ourselves analytical questions. Well how has body literally makes sense with your brain. Yeah. so what were you gonna say about that? Like I said, how do I communicate? Do you feel like that's an analytical question? Yeah, because it's not a broad idea of how do I communicate. It's how have I been communicating lately. Yeah. Do I talk to people? Am I clear? Yeah. Oftenti and if you can't say that you're a clear communicator, you're like, Well, if you hip and haw about right. Like you're not if you can't communicate clearly to yourself. Definitely not coming across clearly to everybody. I think it's the same thing also a little bit, and we can go back to those masculine traits, right? Like how direct am I? How and and a lot of these masculine traits, if we put them in the line of like thinking or communicating, you know, do I communicate directly? Right. Do I think like this? And for those of you listening, it's literally just like is it sporadic thinking or or do I stay linear? Yeah. So I I agree. That air is a lot it's a lot more mystic, mysterious, poetic and kind of to its own nature. Hard to measure. Yeah. Yeah. All right, following That's a good start. That's a good place to end. You didn't want to go through mind, body, and soul, huh? Three out of four. I forgot the mind, body, and soul. Okay. That's why I'm here. So mind, body, and soul. Right. Right. I yeah, I don't know where my hair sits. We're gonna take quizzes for the next, next, next time. mind body and soul, what sort of practice do you have to bring again? These practices, like once we get in touch with where we are in this, we've kind of continued to ask ourselves questions to help us get there. And then for the mind, for the body, for the soul, what can we do then to bring these things into balance? So what do you have under mind? Yeah, I'm curious about where these shift for us, like they did last time. Okay. under mind, I have get creative. that's good. And I have music. Listen, play, sing. That's what I have. I also just thought about it too. Like, I I mean, these are things like do Sudoku, dude. Do a crossword puzzle. yeah. Yeah, I didn't even think about that. I didn't think about that either. Are those the only things you have? Because I also have clearing practices. So And I've released. Like really from the mind. Clearing practices and release. Release. Yeah, and and that could literally because I also have that with body, but think about well, even just right now I'm feeling exhausted. We still have one episode to do, and my my body reaction is just like deep inhale and exhale. Yeah. Yeah. So that's real release. body? Yeah, I put breath work, conscious breathing exercises, box breathing. I also included yoga here, specifically in air. yeah, and Qi Gong dance and I said get outside. Yeah. Soul. Okay, so as I was looking through things and researching, if you will, I came across this term called aromancy. Have you heard of this? No. quite literally the practice of observing air through That which it experiences air. Sitting out and watching the leaves in a tree. Watching the swifts and how they move through the sky in their formations. Yes. the actual observing of the movement of air. That's awesome. Yeah. Also when you eat mushrooms. Okay. That's gonna take you to a completely different dimension. Yes. Because that's often what you're doing is just sitting back watching things move that aren't there. Not necessarily things move that aren't there, but I well I feel really like really resonating with like you can just sit back and watch a tree and how it moves and what that invokes inside. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Well I had meditate and hike. I also listed here chanting and sighing. hell yeah. And I recognize that that's very related to the body. But I think the idea of that big sigh that you just had was much more of a soul release than a body release. Well I'm gonna talk really quickly about sighing. So this is just what we would call an aperatif for a deeper dive. Because I love it so much because I sigh a lot. Yes, you do. You are a masterful sigher. Sighing is the body's involuntary reaction. To an excess of slash overstimulated liver. Okay. In traditional Chinese medicine. And the liver is associated with it's because the emotion directly associated with it is anger. you keep sighing, sister. So sighing is the body's way of cleansing the liver. How often does Christian get triggered by you sighing out of nowhere? You will not believe me when I tell you actually, he does a bunch of sighing. But a long time ago, when we were reading about our doshas, okay, he was like you taken aback with how much fire he has in him. Yeah. It's just that. His fire is very much deficiency, but still like when you're looking at the doshas, so the three doshas in I believe the like the Ayurvedic. I was gonna say Ayurvedic? Ayurvedic philosophies and medicines. So his dosha is exactly mine. And I made him, I did not believe him, and I made him take the test two more times, like different tests on the internet, and it kept coming out with the same one, and I was like, obviously. So we've done deep dives. But so he does a bunch of sighing at me. So he calls it. Like an inhale and exhale release. And what's really interesting is we experienced a lot of that while visiting home. And so he and I had a really good conversation about like, okay, so when it's not one of us doing it, but it's someone else in the room, what does that make us feel? So it was interesting. And air is a complicated poetic mystery. As we've just uncovered. Yeah. So that being said, we have one last thing to do. We do have one last thing to do. I'm glad you didn't. not sure to what any of the details are to it, but basically we have full moon coming up and coming at us. I have no idea where it lands. So we're just gonna Yep, I'm not even gonna try to guess where it lands. But I can tell you that it's on September twenty sixth at twelve forty nine in the PM Pacific Standard Time. And I got myself some great Brittany got a beautiful new deck oracle. And I literally think I want the same one. Okay. It's so beautiful. It feels super inspiring. Speaking of air. It's great. I could do for a little more color on the actual cards themselves, but I'm okay with it. I like that the color is incredibly sporadic. There are some cards that have more color than others. And Anytime that there are colors, they're singular on the card. I love Yeah, I was literally super inspired inspired by just looking at the table of contents. I loved them so much. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. So do I. I really like them. I mean, were there other cards in the store that like wasn't going between, no, I don't know if I should get this or no. Okay. I honestly I picked up this box first and the the shelf they were on was right next to like. the stairway up to the employees like lounge or whatever. And one of the lovely young ladies came downstairs and saw it in my hand and she said, That is the most beautiful deck. I just bought it for a friend. I think, yeah. And I said sold. Yep. And I think it should be known to the people out there both listening and watching. Brittany has not yet pulled. I mean, Brittany showed me this card. She put it across the table at the cafe. And the first thing I do is shuffle, go through, touch every single one of them, and I pulled a card. And was like, what was your card? Touched every single one of them. I haven't pulled a card yet. I didn't pull a card. I like to get to know my cards before I actually use them. All right, fair enough. I mean, jump right in. That's definitely a a sign of our different elements at play. We as sisters, sometimes I don't think could be more different. Okay, I'm gonna do this the same way I did our tarot card a couple weeks ago. Because I'm trying to change the way I pull cards. So Cool. Why are you trying to change the way you pull cards? because I'm trying to use my intuition with my cards a little bit more rather than letting the cards just Fabulous. Just fall? Yes. Awesome. And so are you taking it step by step? Would you like any advice or do you like what you're doing? Well, so right now the step that I've taken is adding a cut. Into the process and pulling from the cut. Yeah, so when you say you pull from the cut, you just pull from the top. Like what's getting you actually this is a great conversation after air. I totally appreciate what you're doing. And so what's getting you in touch with your intuition, with your new process? I haven't fully nailed that down yet. Okay. also why I like to get to know my cards before I start pulling them, because I talk to a lot of people that use the same sort of idea that you do, that there's an energy that comes out of the cards. And so that's why I want to get to know them a little bit more before I start utilizing them. And I think that when I get a little bit more in tune with that, then that shuffling process will will be part of that energy. Okay. I mean, all of this being said, do you want to be the one that pulls this first card? Yeah. Okay. It's fine. Fab. Yeah. I did read, and I don't know if you know this, that you're supposed to cut with your left hand. Sure. Why is that? I'm not really quite sure, but it's interesting because in the Andean world, your left hand is the one that transmutes the energy. Okay. So under that guise and from that knowledge that I have, I can make sense of it. But why someone else wrote it based on their perspective and lens and Mythologies? I don't know. I read it multiple times. Cool. Well, yeah, mine would be like that's the one that's transmuting energy. the mirror. spooky. What number is it? It must be 23. Is 22. obviously. Let's see what's this say? I just want everybody to know this deck is called the Black Bird Oracle deck. Yeah, it's so beautiful. Lovely. okay, the mirror revelations, distortions, and reflections. Stare into the depth of the mirror and peer through the light and shadow to find truth. Damn Mirror Mirror on the wall. Since ancient times, creatures have been fascinated with the mirror. Staring into its reflective surface, they search for truth or do they? Mm mirrors distort as well as reveal, creating illusions that can spellbind the querent, and suspend their intuition and discernment. The mirror's orientation in in a reading can help you determine whether what is being revealed to you is true or false. As a tool, the mirror's appearance will support self reflection and encourage you to understand the power that already lies within you. Perhaps you should wait until the clouds part before coming to a decision. Should light shine on the mirror, however, you can be confident that the revelations come from a pure source of energy and can be trusted. Wonderful. Affirmation is I reveal. It's beautiful. It is beautiful. It also makes me feel like air. Yeah. Like literally more than any of the other elements. All right. I'm looking at the actual hour of the day and it is stressing me out.
