SELLEST OSAST
On this episode of MB2 Underground, Joe Fox and Sarah Reed sit down with Rebecca Whitney, CEO of Young Innovations, to talk leadership, risk-taking, and what it looks like to step into a new industry with a fresh perspective.
Rebecca shares the career journey that brought her from more than 25 years in med tech to the dental industry, why she has always been drawn to challenges, and how her philosophy of "Type 2 fun" has shaped the way she approaches both life and business. She also breaks down her approach to building strong teams, creating cultures rooted in trust and authenticity, and finding the right people for the right roles.
The conversation also dives into Rebecca's three leadership principles of customer obsession, extreme ownership, and straight talk, along with her vision for the future of Young Innovations. From listening directly to customers and prioritizing meaningful innovation to measuring outcomes over activity, Rebecca shares what she believes it takes to build a company and culture positioned for long-term growth.
