00:00:00.300 --> 00:00:02.428

Manders and her guests will help explain to you how shifting your mindset will shift your life.
00:00:38.960 --> 00:00:40.201
Hey guys, welcome back to New News Mindset.
00:00:40.201 --> 00:00:51.530
I am here today with Alina, and Alina specializes in subconscious change and helps conscious leaders and creative souls transform self-sabotage, fear and inner criticism into impact, success and well-being.
00:00:51.530 --> 00:01:02.103
Part of what makes her work unique is a method called core transformation, which is also something I got to experience and we're going to get into that a little bit as well.
00:01:02.103 --> 00:01:20.191
And core transformation is a gentle process that allows us to work with different parts of ourselves that are stuck in unwanted patterns of behavior and create profound inner change without having to struggle or rely on willpower.
00:01:20.191 --> 00:01:26.846
And honestly, guys, it is a really cool experience and I am here today with Alina.
00:01:26.846 --> 00:01:30.072
Thank you so much for being here with me again.
00:01:30.072 --> 00:01:33.007
Yeah, thank you for having me.
00:01:33.007 --> 00:01:45.335
So, karen, you tell us a little bit about your upbringing, your childhood family dynamic however deep you want to go with that, but kind of lay the foundation for us a little bit.
00:01:45.335 --> 00:01:46.021
Yeah.
00:01:46.400 --> 00:01:52.194
So I'm actually originally from Russia and we came to America when I was about nine years old.
00:01:53.001 --> 00:01:57.028
So that was quite a big culture shift for me.
00:01:57.629 --> 00:03:10.234
Actually, it's a big reason why I continue to do the work that I do today is because the value system that I was brought up with in Russia was very I mean, some American, I would say households or European households were brought up in the same way as just really strict and focused on values of safety, security, certainty, education being the top priority and being told that I needed to be really independent and following the traditional pathway of life, right, like you go to school, you find your partner, you get married, you have children and then you just work until some certain age and maybe you retire I don't know, I don't even remember anybody talking retirement in russia, but well, I guess when you're older, right, and you can't do it anymore, but yeah, so that was what I was brought up with and I'm actively now rewiring and clearing a lot of these programs that have kept me in that cycle because, yeah, I mean, when mean, when we came to America, I was very focused on education still and I ended up going into accounting.
00:03:15.442 --> 00:03:19.699
So that's kind of like it continued on to that traditional trajectory of life.
00:03:19.699 --> 00:03:22.542
Okay, Now that's interesting.
00:03:22.542 --> 00:03:37.381
So you had that same, because even here in America that you go to school, you go to college, you get married, you have kids, you've got your job, you hopefully retire and you die, Like that.
00:03:37.381 --> 00:03:42.193
Like literally that, basically it Hopefully you get to enjoy retirement and then you die.
00:03:42.193 --> 00:03:47.311
So you had that same kind of this is what happened, Okay.
00:03:49.139 --> 00:03:49.820
In my family.
00:03:49.820 --> 00:03:56.794
Anyway, you know I can't speak for everybody, but that's the mindset that I was brought up with the value system Okay.
00:03:57.661 --> 00:04:02.889
So you came here when you were nine, so do you remember schooling in Russia at all?
00:04:03.560 --> 00:04:05.829
I do, because I went there through third grade.
00:04:05.829 --> 00:04:14.721
So yeah, and I came here, I started fourth grade here and I mean I remember being pretty strict again, like we.
00:04:14.721 --> 00:04:21.389
You know, here in America we have these report cards right that I don't even remember when they go out, but once a quarter or something like that.
00:04:21.389 --> 00:04:32.562
There you have I forgot what I don't even know what the translation is maybe like a grade book that you bring to school every day and you basically get like daily grades.
00:04:32.562 --> 00:04:40.026
So then you bring your grade book home and then you can show your parents like this is what my progress was for the day, etc.
00:04:40.026 --> 00:04:56.769
And so I don't know if that's still how they do it, but I would say it was pretty strict and just a lot of comparison patterns to learning oh, how is the rest of your class doing, or how did your sister do compared to you, and I just remember learning comparison from a very young age.
00:04:57.411 --> 00:05:16.067
Another thing that I'm, another thing that I am working on clearing and reprogramming wow, that's interesting too, because now I don't know if you remember this, but these grade books like would kids look at each other's in school?
00:05:16.067 --> 00:05:19.821
I feel like that might be something as a young kid you'd show.
00:05:19.841 --> 00:05:21.762
I don't remember.
00:05:21.762 --> 00:05:23.043
I really don't remember.
00:05:23.043 --> 00:05:27.687
I remember, but you would also kind of know from what I remember.
00:05:27.687 --> 00:05:37.233
Anyway, you would be in class, right, and let's say, the teacher asks you to do something in class in front of everybody and then you get the grade right there.
00:05:37.233 --> 00:05:51.127
So I think people would know what grade you got but I don't remember, okay, so it was outward too got, but I don't remember okay, so it was outward too sometimes, but then you would take tests and have homework and stuff like that.
00:05:51.146 --> 00:05:54.654
Now, but I'll go in the grade book too.
00:05:54.654 --> 00:05:58.524
So, yeah, okay, and so then you came to the united states when you were nine.
00:05:58.524 --> 00:06:01.988
Now siblings, do you have siblings?
00:06:03.130 --> 00:06:12.908
Yeah, I have a sister and she's still back in Russia, so she kind of you know she chose a different life path and so that's why she's still there.
00:06:12.908 --> 00:06:14.584
Is she younger?
00:06:14.584 --> 00:06:17.204
Older yeah, she's older than me.
00:06:18.961 --> 00:06:28.192
Okay, so then you came here when you were nine, and do you remember early stages of when you first came here?
00:06:29.339 --> 00:06:37.767
Yeah, I mean it was really exciting Because, you know, my dad was actually here before me and my mom came and he was just.
00:06:37.767 --> 00:06:39.009
You know, sometimes he would send me little gifts.
00:06:39.009 --> 00:06:40.209
You know, I don't know a Barbie doll or something like that.
00:06:40.209 --> 00:06:41.432
He would send me little gifts.
00:06:41.432 --> 00:06:44.113
You know, I don't know a Barbie doll or something like that.
00:06:44.113 --> 00:06:45.214
He would send it to me.
00:06:45.214 --> 00:06:52.685
And I just remember being so cool because it's not really something that was sold in the stores or maybe it was, but we couldn't afford it.
00:06:52.685 --> 00:06:58.365
So I was like one of the only kids who had a Barbie, like a real Barbie, and I thought that was just amazing.
00:06:58.966 --> 00:07:07.137
And but just being here in general, there was this sense of I mean, I don't know freedom.
00:07:07.137 --> 00:07:14.235
It's interesting just seeing how kids here were compared to how kids are there.
00:07:14.235 --> 00:07:22.682
I mean, kids play and I don't know just kind of enjoy this innocent life, right, and also, at the same time, there were some key differences.
00:07:22.682 --> 00:07:25.870
Kids here were saying things like I can be.
00:07:25.870 --> 00:07:30.831
My mom said I could be anybody I want to be when I grow up, or I can do anything I want to do.
00:07:30.831 --> 00:07:33.730
I was like what is this?
00:07:33.730 --> 00:07:38.341
Because they would do little interviews at school where they would be like, and what do you want to be when you grow up?
00:07:38.341 --> 00:07:42.166
Right and people, just you want that in Russia no.
00:07:43.307 --> 00:08:01.807
I feel like I was definitely encouraged to be somebody that was accepted in society, needed so like a doctor, like an engineer or, you know, lawyer, accountant or somebody like that, like a respectable profession so it wasn't more.
00:08:01.867 --> 00:08:03.290
so what do you want to do?
00:08:03.290 --> 00:08:04.773
Or what do you want to be?
00:08:04.793 --> 00:08:17.713
No, no, you want to be something that will help society, kind of almost Exactly yeah, and something that will be safe and practical and will support you so that you can have the traditional life.
00:08:18.480 --> 00:08:20.567
So you can support the family with the picket fence?
00:08:20.567 --> 00:08:22.565
Okay, uh-huh, exactly.
00:08:22.565 --> 00:08:29.781
Pick a fence.
00:08:29.781 --> 00:08:30.442
Okay, uh-huh, exactly so.
00:08:30.442 --> 00:08:33.008
And now is that kind of why you I don't want to imply this, but is that?
00:08:33.028 --> 00:08:33.548
why you chose accounting.
00:08:33.548 --> 00:08:34.530
No, exactly, that's exactly.
00:08:34.530 --> 00:08:34.630
Yeah.
00:08:34.630 --> 00:08:46.038
Well, because you know, I was going through school and I was fortunate enough to have my parents help me with the finances for school, and I was thinking about what the the logical part of Alina is like.
00:08:46.038 --> 00:08:58.240
What will help me get a job out of college that is pretty much guaranteed and that will support me, right, so that I don't need to rely on anybody and my parents, like they, don't need to keep supporting me, right?
00:08:58.240 --> 00:09:00.966
So accounting was just something that came up like.
00:09:00.966 --> 00:09:10.269
I was decent at math, I knew that it was going to be a career that was going to be needed everywhere and I would pretty much be guaranteed a job.
00:09:10.269 --> 00:09:20.764
So that's what I decided to go do, and obviously my parents supported it, and that's exactly what happened, well, except I graduated when the economy crashed in 2009.
00:09:20.764 --> 00:09:26.140
So that wasn't fantastic and I needed to go to a city that I didn't think I would go live in.
00:09:26.140 --> 00:09:28.264
But it all worked out.
00:09:28.946 --> 00:09:33.494
So Okay, now I want to backtrack just a tad.
00:09:33.494 --> 00:09:40.135
So, when you, prior to coming to America, did you do like extracurriculars?
00:09:40.135 --> 00:09:41.320
Were you involved in anything?
00:09:41.320 --> 00:09:41.961
In Russia?
00:09:41.961 --> 00:09:43.144
Did they have that?
00:09:43.144 --> 00:09:45.130
I don't even know, so I don't even know.
00:09:45.130 --> 00:09:48.190
Could you play sports Like genuinely Okay?
00:09:49.102 --> 00:09:49.927
I'm sure you could.
00:09:49.927 --> 00:09:51.865
I did piano.
00:09:51.865 --> 00:09:54.225
I remember that my mom got me into that.
00:09:54.225 --> 00:09:55.087
I was pretty good.
00:09:55.087 --> 00:10:01.149
I think she almost got me into music school and all of that like the memories are just very vague.
00:10:02.681 --> 00:10:04.346
I don't know about the sports situation.
00:10:04.346 --> 00:10:09.912
I'm sure there are just like the schools here, but I think there's a lot more emphasis on them here.
00:10:09.912 --> 00:10:30.190
There's a lot more emphasis on get good grades so that you can actually get hired and have money and not have to go to the military, because that's another thing is I don't know what it's like for women if it's the same rules, but pretty much I believe if you're not going to go to college, you basically are required to go to the military for some certain amount of time.
00:10:30.190 --> 00:10:47.869
So it's actually it would behoove you to study and all that kind of stuff, some kind of physical issue that could prevent you from serving stuff like that, but I don't know exactly, but that's what I heard.
00:10:47.869 --> 00:10:57.182
So there's an additional benefit to studying hard and getting good grades and being at the top of your class and you can also actually get free education there for university.
00:10:57.182 --> 00:11:01.673
I don't know if it's any good, but that also depends heavily on your grades.
00:11:01.679 --> 00:11:08.510
So there's just a big emphasis on studying also depends heavily on your grades, so there's just a big emphasis on studying.
00:11:08.510 --> 00:11:19.451
Okay, so you came here when you were nine and now you loved the freedom, you loved being able to think about what you wanted to be, what I wanted to be, just in general.
00:11:19.551 --> 00:11:22.888
the attitude, the feelings were just a lot more laid back.
00:11:22.888 --> 00:11:26.058
Okay, I don't know my parents.
00:11:26.058 --> 00:11:30.816
They actually brought over some textbooks, because you can buy textbooks at the bookstores there.
00:11:30.816 --> 00:11:51.426
So they bought like fourth, fifth and sixth grade math and like russian and all this stuff with the intention that I would go to american school and then come home and we would also do r Russian school too, and that didn't last very long, okay, because I was like I want to go play with the kids.
00:11:51.426 --> 00:11:55.842
I will say the education system there was significantly further ahead.
00:11:55.842 --> 00:12:03.625
So in fourth grade I was probably at sixth or seventh grade math already and just in some points it was a lot more advanced there.
00:12:03.625 --> 00:12:11.015
But of course, like, my English skills were really terrible because I didn't know any English except hello, goodbye, how are you, type of thing.
00:12:11.015 --> 00:12:16.056
So I was also in ESL a lot, studying English for a couple of years.
00:12:16.056 --> 00:12:22.746
But I picked it up pretty quickly because I think when you're a child you're just able to sponge that up, you know.
00:12:23.368 --> 00:12:24.589
How can I Now?
00:12:24.589 --> 00:12:29.673
I've obviously never had to learn English, but I've heard that it's one of the harder languages to learn.
00:12:29.673 --> 00:12:32.197
But you picked it up easily, Apparently.
00:12:32.940 --> 00:12:33.240
I don't know.
00:12:33.240 --> 00:12:45.349
I kind of have a brain that learns by memorization, like I never actually learned to read notes, but I would just learn where my fingers would go on the keys, and that's how I would learn the song.
00:12:45.349 --> 00:12:52.647
So I wouldn't be looking at the sheet new, help me I would just remember where it goes.
00:12:52.647 --> 00:12:54.407
So it's the same thing with language too.
00:12:54.407 --> 00:13:15.940
If I can just memorize how it sounds, then I can just say it, and then eventually, once you start speaking, obviously it's just an automatic habit, unconscious habit, right, but that's how I learned is through repetition and just memorization wow, okay, so you get into america and how was schooling?
00:13:16.039 --> 00:13:17.706
and you middle school, high school?
00:13:17.706 --> 00:13:18.570
How were your schooling?
00:13:18.570 --> 00:13:23.163
Years from what you remember, did you get involved in extracurriculars here?
00:13:24.365 --> 00:13:32.188
well, yeah my mom tried to get me into some things before I kind of just I was like I don't want to do any of it.
00:13:32.188 --> 00:13:47.643
I did dance for a while, like I did ballet, like classical ballet for a bit I did I don't know you'd call it cheerleading or tumbling I guess type of thing but not as part of a team on in school or whatever, just because it was fun.
00:13:47.643 --> 00:13:57.106
And then I like injured my ankle, I like flipped over the wrong way and fractured my growth plate on my foot and that's why mom was like you should probably stop, okay, fine.
00:13:57.106 --> 00:14:02.249
So yeah, I didn't really do much after that.
00:14:02.389 --> 00:14:06.211
You know you're talking to a girl who grew up in a little town in Texas.
00:14:06.211 --> 00:14:09.751
I say little, I mean it's a good size, but to me it was little.
00:14:09.751 --> 00:14:14.573
I wanted to go explore so bad.
00:14:14.573 --> 00:14:16.355
I wanted to go live in another city.
00:14:16.355 --> 00:14:19.495
I wanted to get back to Colorado because that's where we originally arrived.
00:14:19.495 --> 00:14:23.618
When we came to America I was obsessed with getting to Denver.
00:14:23.618 --> 00:14:31.692
So I had a big goal to be like how can I get out of school as fast as possible so I could leave and go do these things?
00:14:31.692 --> 00:14:34.207
And so I graduated high school early.
00:14:34.639 --> 00:14:36.025
You graduated high school.
00:14:36.025 --> 00:14:40.801
Yeah, because I was like I wanted to speed up this process, so I basically skipped my senior year.
00:14:40.801 --> 00:14:49.011
I went to night school where you could basically just get on the computer and take a bunch of quizzes about whatever the topic is.
00:14:49.011 --> 00:14:52.643
I had one and a half PE credits that I still needed because I did swimming.
00:14:52.643 --> 00:14:56.773
For a year I did crossword puzzles that were basketball and baseball themed.
00:14:58.841 --> 00:15:01.570
Okay, and that counted as PE credits.
00:15:01.570 --> 00:15:02.643
Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:15:02.943 --> 00:15:03.847
Yeah, interesting.
00:15:03.847 --> 00:15:07.268
Okay, it was the easiest senior year ever.
00:15:07.268 --> 00:15:07.950
It was great.
00:15:08.879 --> 00:15:11.365
So how old were you when you graduated high school?
00:15:11.966 --> 00:15:12.506
17.
00:15:12.506 --> 00:15:15.712
I mean not Okay, yeah, it was only a year early.
00:15:15.712 --> 00:15:21.644
Okay, you got like a little scholarship, you know, to go towards college and that was nice.
00:15:22.768 --> 00:15:24.403
Okay, and then you went to college.
00:15:24.403 --> 00:15:25.807
Did you go to college for accounting?
00:15:32.700 --> 00:15:37.333
Yeah, I got my master's degree because in Texas you needed to get a certain number of hours so you could do the certified public accountant license.
00:15:37.333 --> 00:15:38.798
So I did the whole thing.
00:15:38.798 --> 00:15:41.668
So you're like, well, if you're going to go for accounting, might as well be a CPA.
00:15:44.041 --> 00:15:45.785
Okay, and where did you go to college?
00:15:46.568 --> 00:15:48.342
Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
00:15:48.342 --> 00:15:50.147
That's where I, yeah, was growing up.
00:15:50.147 --> 00:15:57.561
After we, we were in Colorado for only a year and then we moved to Texas, to Lubbock, and that's where my dad still is and he's teaching there and stuff like that.
00:15:57.620 --> 00:16:00.927
So yeah, okay.
00:16:00.927 --> 00:16:06.595
So you went to Texas and then now, post school, did you become a CPA right away?
00:16:07.460 --> 00:16:08.101
Yeah, pretty much.
00:16:08.101 --> 00:16:11.910
I mean up until I decided to go into business for myself.
00:16:11.910 --> 00:16:15.061
I was very much yeah.
00:16:15.061 --> 00:16:16.666
Up until I started my own business.
00:16:16.666 --> 00:16:24.748
I was very much like linear life path, right, Just like my parents taught me when I was a child is you do this, then you do that, then you do this.
00:16:24.908 --> 00:16:38.068
As soon as I got out of high school, I went into college right away, got my bachelor's done in business administration, got into the accounting program for the master's so that I could then start studying for the exam for the CPA license.
00:16:38.068 --> 00:17:01.606
And the way that they have the master's program set up is like you do an internship during the program, which counts for credits, and usually what happens is you go to this internship and during the internship, you get a job offer so that when you are about to walk, you already have a job on the graduation stage, which is great, right, Except not in 2008, when the economy crashed.
00:17:01.606 --> 00:17:08.480
However, there was plenty of connections that allowed me to still get a job.
00:17:08.480 --> 00:17:10.265
I thought I was going to move to Dallas.
00:17:10.265 --> 00:17:18.811
That's where I wanted to live but the only place that I could get a job at that time was Houston, and I tried to apply to Denver and it just wasn't.
00:17:18.811 --> 00:17:22.133
I guess it wasn't the right time because I wasn't getting any bites.
00:17:22.133 --> 00:17:23.940
So I needed to go to Houston because I wasn't getting any bites.
00:17:24.519 --> 00:17:27.683
So I needed to go to Houston.
00:17:27.683 --> 00:17:31.449
Okay, so you went to Houston and you started working at a firm over there.
00:17:31.990 --> 00:17:36.875
Yeah, yeah, I worked for Deloitte, which is like one of the I don't know, they call them big four in accounting.
00:17:39.799 --> 00:17:42.907
So like the big four accounting firms of the world.
00:17:42.907 --> 00:17:44.251
Okay, and did you enjoy that?
00:17:59.289 --> 00:18:06.895
Did you enjoy being a CPA some friends and have camaraderie and stuff like that and you get to work on some pretty cool clients, depending on what department you're in.
00:18:06.895 --> 00:18:16.946
I was doing international tax for a while, which was kind of interesting, and then I kind of switched to the high net worth individual and company, which I enjoyed a lot more.
00:18:16.946 --> 00:18:29.268
There was a lot more personal element to it than this giant corporation that just deals oil and gas, you know, and it's trying to open up operations in china or something.
00:18:29.268 --> 00:18:35.085
To me the personal element has always been more interesting, so I enjoyed that.
00:18:35.085 --> 00:18:36.287
It was tough though.
00:18:36.287 --> 00:18:38.932
I mean there's a reason why they have the kind of.
00:18:39.554 --> 00:18:56.641
It's pretty much common knowledge that if you go to a big four firm you're going to be chewed up and spit out and most people quit within the first two years because it's just it's hard If, depending on what department you're into cause I was in tax and we call, you know we have these things called busy seasons.
00:18:56.641 --> 00:19:07.060
So from about, you know, february to April and then again from, like, august to October, sometimes November, I would be working 65, 75 hours a week.
00:19:07.060 --> 00:19:23.644
So I would basically live at the accounting firm which we know when you're in your early 20s, a lot more resilience so yep, okay now, how long were you there for?
00:19:25.105 --> 00:19:40.075
Right, I switched from international to that high net worth individual department and I was in Houston for a couple of years and then we went to this like training facility it's called Deloitte University or were they like.
00:19:40.075 --> 00:19:41.476
You know, I don't know.
00:19:41.476 --> 00:19:45.377
They have continuing education there like connection opportunities.
00:19:45.377 --> 00:19:49.730
And I sat at this table giant table for lunch.
00:19:49.730 --> 00:20:01.011
There was nobody else there, and this woman comes and sits next to me like randomly and she's hey, you know, where are you from?
00:20:01.011 --> 00:20:02.546
I'm like, oh, I'm from Houston.
00:20:02.546 --> 00:20:03.771
She's like where are you from?
00:20:03.771 --> 00:20:04.500
She's like I'm from Denver.
00:20:04.500 --> 00:20:04.861
I'm like, oh, from.
00:20:04.861 --> 00:20:05.382
I'm like I'm from houston.
00:20:05.382 --> 00:20:06.164
She's like where are you from?
00:20:06.164 --> 00:20:06.625
She's I'm from denver.
00:20:06.625 --> 00:20:09.795
I'm like, oh, I'm like I wanted to live in denver for a long time.
00:20:09.795 --> 00:20:11.721
And she's what department are you?
00:20:11.721 --> 00:20:12.623
And I'm like pcs.
00:20:12.623 --> 00:20:13.644
She's on pcs.
00:20:13.644 --> 00:20:16.692
I was like, oh, I was like are you guys looking for people?
00:20:16.692 --> 00:20:21.868
And she's yeah, just give me your resume and I'll get you to my manager.
00:20:21.868 --> 00:20:25.174
And blah, blah, blah and within a week I had an offer to go to Denver.
00:20:26.784 --> 00:20:28.349
Where did you meet this woman?
00:20:31.104 --> 00:20:33.832
At the Deloitte University, their little trading facility.
00:20:33.832 --> 00:20:41.273
So basically that meeting over a weird lunch got me a trip to Denver.
00:20:43.319 --> 00:20:44.703
Okay, so you moved to.
00:20:44.824 --> 00:20:46.347
Denver, yeah.
00:20:46.347 --> 00:20:49.683
So then I stayed two more years there and worked in that department.
00:20:49.683 --> 00:20:54.865
So that was a great leap right being able to just transfer like that within the company I already was in.
00:20:54.865 --> 00:21:03.488
And then I had another manifestation thing happen, because in Houston actually I was considering other jobs already.
00:21:03.488 --> 00:21:08.035
I think it was a happy hour, a company happy hour.
00:21:09.142 --> 00:21:12.449
This guy showed up to it that wasn't supposed to be there.
00:21:12.449 --> 00:21:18.550
He was like from a party next door and he started asking me about my job and he's like do you enjoy your job?
00:21:18.550 --> 00:21:25.644
I was like well, I'm kind of thinking about maybe switching, and he should have coffee with this guy I know who has his own firm in houston.
00:21:25.644 --> 00:21:27.170
I'm like okay.
00:21:27.170 --> 00:21:30.722
So I went and had coffee with that guy and he like actually wanted to offer me a job.
00:21:30.722 --> 00:21:37.873
But then I was like no, I think I want to go to Denver one day and I don't want to commit because it sounds like you're trying to build something long term.
00:21:39.098 --> 00:21:53.646
I'm just telling you this because when I went to Denver and I started working at that same firm I was working at, I got an email from my coffee guy from Houston like two years later, and he was like are you still looking for a job?
00:21:54.861 --> 00:21:58.663
And I'm like, well, I'm in Denver now and he's like you should meet this guy.
00:21:58.663 --> 00:22:02.352
I know that I met at a conference randomly here's his name.
00:22:02.352 --> 00:22:09.162
And I go and meet that guy randomly here's his name.
00:22:09.162 --> 00:22:12.288
And I go and meet that guy and he's oh, I'm actually looking for a person to help me run my firm.
00:22:12.288 --> 00:22:16.702
And he's explaining exactly what I've been like, wanting to get into ever since college.
00:22:16.702 --> 00:22:33.306
Like I had this idea in my brain in college that I would want to work for a small firm where the person who's leading it could take me under their wing and teach me what they know, and then maybe I could take over the firm and I don't know, just a much smaller, intimate environment, you know, and I just wasn't available.
00:22:33.306 --> 00:22:42.905
When I was in college, the big firms were the ones that were kind of dominant, anyway, so those guys, yeah, here you go, come talk to the people at my firm and see if you're a good fit.
00:22:42.905 --> 00:22:44.209
And then I had a job with him.
00:22:52.119 --> 00:22:54.430
And I basically got my dream job in accounting from that whole shuffle interaction.
00:22:54.430 --> 00:22:56.178
Now, this dream job was this one in Houston or was it in Denver?
00:22:56.178 --> 00:23:00.189
No, in Denver, okay, and so you take this job correct.
00:23:00.189 --> 00:23:02.561
Yeah, and how long were you at that job?
00:23:03.042 --> 00:23:03.844
About four years.
00:23:03.844 --> 00:23:18.653
So I was in accounting total for about 10 years doing a variety of tax stuff and with that smaller firm that I took the job, he was a great entrepreneurial guy and really saw the value in his people.
00:23:18.653 --> 00:23:21.468
So he had a lot of different things that he was doing.
00:23:21.468 --> 00:23:28.972
He was building a payroll franchise and so he was like OK, I know that if I treat my people well, then they're going to basically take care of this firm.
00:23:28.972 --> 00:23:31.566
So he paid his people well, gave incentives.
00:23:31.566 --> 00:23:39.007
He gave good value or not value benefits Was always kind of available to be like what do you need?
00:23:39.027 --> 00:23:42.402
How are you doing, not just at work, but personally.
00:23:42.402 --> 00:23:46.010
Very great human, like human person.
00:23:46.010 --> 00:23:47.883
Right, that's right.
00:23:47.883 --> 00:23:48.526
No, that's right.
00:23:48.526 --> 00:23:54.152
And I'm really grateful for him for just seeing the potential that I didn't know I had.
00:23:54.152 --> 00:23:57.950
I was just like I'm just going to do taxes because it's all I've ever done, right?
00:23:57.950 --> 00:24:02.412
I was the tax preparer behind the curtain Give me a bunch of paperwork and I'll sort it out.
00:24:02.412 --> 00:24:09.573
But he was like what do you think about doing sales and marketing and, I don't know, helping develop the team and all this stuff?
00:24:09.573 --> 00:24:13.189
And so he encouraged me to go start doing all this stuff.
00:24:13.189 --> 00:24:14.531
So I learned a lot of new skills.
00:24:14.531 --> 00:24:22.965
I wasn't just doing taxes, I was also like networking a bunch and doing sales meetings right and signing new people on.
00:24:22.965 --> 00:24:27.240
I converted most of the firm to like new technology.
00:24:28.241 --> 00:24:31.630
And the owner guy he was also like really futuristic too.
00:24:31.630 --> 00:24:34.723
So he was always asking the question of what is the future of accounting?
00:24:34.723 --> 00:24:37.431
How are we going to keep up with that?
00:24:37.431 --> 00:24:38.539
What can we do as a firm?
00:24:38.539 --> 00:24:41.663
So that kind of leads into the whole.
00:24:41.663 --> 00:25:05.663
He always wanted to create some kind of offering that would help accounting firms have more advisory services, because accountants are notorious for what's called compliance, which is, you know, oh yeah, I'll do your taxes or I'll do your books right, so you can have your balance sheet and profit and loss statement every month and profit and loss statement every month.
00:25:05.663 --> 00:25:07.509
And that is what's been the bread and butter of a lot of accounting firms for a long time.
00:25:07.509 --> 00:25:23.005
But really the future of accounting is that a lot of that stuff is going to get automated by technology and really what's left is the relationship piece of the accountants who actually build relationships with their clients and are having conversations that go beyond.
00:25:23.005 --> 00:25:27.807
Here's your piece of paper I filled out right, those are the firms that are going to survive.
00:25:27.807 --> 00:25:33.929
So that's why he was like what can we create that would help not only us do this better, but also other firms?
00:25:33.929 --> 00:25:38.567
And he always had that question in his mind.
00:25:38.567 --> 00:25:40.992
I was like yeah, I'm on board, obviously.
00:25:40.992 --> 00:25:45.692
I mean, I'm in my 20s and I plan on being in this career for a long time, so I want to be a part of this.
00:25:46.420 --> 00:25:55.448
At one point, he decided to sell the firm because he was focusing on other things and at that time it just wasn't a good fit for me to stay there.
00:25:55.448 --> 00:25:58.153
That's why I decided to.
00:25:58.153 --> 00:26:05.230
Actually, I was like hey, are you still thinking about creating that thing that you were talking about for the advisory services?
00:26:05.230 --> 00:26:07.142
And he's yeah, we could do that now if you want.
00:26:07.142 --> 00:26:13.343
I'm like okay, you'd have to quit your job, though, probably, because it would probably require a lot of time.
00:26:13.343 --> 00:26:16.330
I'm like, yeah, that probably would be correct.
00:26:16.330 --> 00:26:18.006
That was when my leap happened.
00:26:18.006 --> 00:26:25.587
I left the firm and I started that thing with him and some other people okay, and how was this new thing?
00:26:27.309 --> 00:26:44.654
you know, it was like drinking from a fire hose in a lot of ways, but also exciting again, right, because I'm like uncovering these new skills that I didn't think I had, because basically, what I started doing was building this giant educational program for entrepreneurs on basics of business, right?
00:26:44.654 --> 00:26:50.212
So I'm sitting there like learning about professional e-learning, which I didn't know was a thing.
00:26:50.212 --> 00:27:07.311
I am creating graphics and animated videos and writing a bunch of content and recording my voice and putting together like learning about how people learn, so that I can create this content in a way that's actually digestible and fun.
00:27:07.311 --> 00:27:07.853
And I don't know.
00:27:07.853 --> 00:27:12.920
There's a lot of interesting things about professional e-learning I didn't know existed.
00:27:12.920 --> 00:27:31.082
Like there's these programs where you can build little games and stuff, which I spent a lot of time doing, but I got a lot of positive feedback from folks who were really interested in this initiative, and so we got some good seed funding and stuff like that, and it was fun to go to conferences and talk about this with people.
00:27:31.082 --> 00:27:38.208
So it was just a lot, but I was working a ton because, as you know, when you have your own business, you can just kind of work all the time.
00:27:38.568 --> 00:28:00.392
And that was 2018, so not COVID yet, but like I was spending a lot of time just like on the computer trying to put this program together and went through burnout, there was just a lot that happened, I think, like now that I think about it, it seems like a really big initiation into this world of entrepreneurship.
00:28:00.392 --> 00:28:34.256
Right, because I got to learn what it was like to go from earning a pretty great salary right to earning nothing for a long time until we got to seed funding, and then the amounts that I did get paid were minimal, but kept my lights on basically but kept my lights on basically so many lessons with learning how to deal with that big money change and just the big change of, hey, you used to do this thing, this career that you spent so much time and energy developing.
00:28:34.256 --> 00:28:46.789
Right, I mean, just getting the cpa license alone is that was a year and a half of studying every single day, because only less than 50% of people, I think, pass on the first time or something like that.
00:28:46.789 --> 00:28:51.615
So it's not an easy exam and you pay thousands of dollars to obtain it and get it and all this stuff.
00:28:51.615 --> 00:28:53.195
So it's an achievement.
00:28:53.296 --> 00:28:57.224
An accomplishment and a lot of people don't just kind of let that go.
00:28:57.224 --> 00:29:02.122
So there's just a lot of things going on at that point of just my mind is alina, what are you doing?
00:29:02.122 --> 00:29:06.571
Why are we stopping this really safe, predictable path of life?
00:29:06.571 --> 00:29:11.885
You know so there's probably a lot of the attributed to my burnout.
00:29:13.127 --> 00:29:19.708
Okay, what would you say was like the biggest challenge you faced with that?
00:29:19.708 --> 00:29:31.144
Because, because that's a big transition, even when you said having a steady salary to owning like that's a big it totally is.
00:29:32.041 --> 00:29:35.571
I mean you just kind of have to keep going.
00:29:35.571 --> 00:29:42.785
I mean I had savings, so it's not like I couldn't keep my lights on or pay my rent or something like that, I was okay.
00:29:42.785 --> 00:29:50.105
But just the whole aspect of that being in that situation, you're like, oh God, okay.
00:29:50.105 --> 00:29:52.650
Well, I started, I hired a coach, a life coach.
00:29:52.650 --> 00:30:00.105
Okay, I worked with her for a year, so that was my first introduction to coaching, but I feel like she helped me tremendously.
00:30:00.747 --> 00:30:20.470
You know, I wasn't doing really maybe a little bit like I was always interested in self-development and mystical things and stuff like that, but not I would never got into it to the extent that I did when I started creating that company, cause there was so much change that my brain was literally freaking out.
00:30:20.470 --> 00:30:42.971
So she really helped me in that initial stage of come to awareness of my thoughts and my feelings and my ability to choose, come up with a bigger vision and goals and work towards something and just have a process of dealing with obstacles instead of just feeling like I'm flailing through a tornado of craziness.
00:30:42.971 --> 00:30:45.073
You know, yeah.
00:30:45.634 --> 00:30:47.134
No, you help me a lot.
00:30:47.134 --> 00:30:50.838
Okay, I think that's great.
00:30:50.838 --> 00:30:59.013
I talk about awareness a lot because we can't see what we can't see, you know.
00:30:59.013 --> 00:31:04.544
We can't see what we can't see, you know.
00:31:04.544 --> 00:31:10.180
And whether it's a life coach, whatever type of coach you want to call it, like we're biased to our own lives, we're in it too much to see the outside.
00:31:10.180 --> 00:31:26.741
People say step outside of yourself, be the observer which you can to an extent to an extent, but only so much, sure.
00:31:26.761 --> 00:31:26.962
Well, right.
00:31:26.962 --> 00:31:45.028
And then you know, after learning a lot of these things about our perception, like how our perception works through these filters in our mind that have a lot to do with our upbringing um, it's oh yeah, it makes sense that I wasn't able to fully step into that observer at that time and see things from a clear standpoint.
00:31:45.028 --> 00:31:48.549
You know, it was heavily distorted, but it was good.
00:31:48.549 --> 00:31:49.330
All of it was good.
00:31:49.330 --> 00:31:55.694
Right, so many lessons and such a I was going to say a gentle path, but it's not a gentle path.
00:31:55.694 --> 00:32:02.321
It was exactly what I needed to get to where I needed to be, you know, even though it wasn't always fun.
00:32:25.377 --> 00:32:38.101
I like how you mentioned our perception is affected by our upbringing, because it really is, and in so many, even in small little instances.
00:32:38.101 --> 00:32:51.066
You know that people might not even realize, like you judging a way a person does a random thing could be based on something you've seen in your upbringing.
00:32:51.066 --> 00:32:59.692
You know you're not even aware of it absolutely so then, from here, where would you go from after you do it?
00:33:00.653 --> 00:33:01.253
Right, so.
00:33:01.253 --> 00:33:15.598
So that was In spring of 2020, I finally was like I was determined to finish that program that I started creating Right and finally did it.
00:33:15.598 --> 00:33:18.298
I finished it.
00:33:18.298 --> 00:33:24.201
And at that point I was like do I want to keep going with this business or not?
00:33:24.201 --> 00:33:29.062
I basically decided that it was time to move on, and it was already.
00:33:29.062 --> 00:33:32.784
You know, it was a crazy year already, right, because COVID started just then.
00:33:32.784 --> 00:33:34.204
So we're already on lockdown.
00:33:34.204 --> 00:33:40.126
I was like, okay, I'm gonna tell them that I'm not going to stay with the company.
00:33:41.667 --> 00:33:46.348
I did that, and then I was thinking do I really want to go back to accounting?
00:33:46.348 --> 00:33:53.551
I mean, that was such a wild ride, you know, I learned so many new skills.
00:33:53.551 --> 00:34:03.658
I surprised myself, like I actually am pretty good at creating stuff and writing and doing marketing things, and I basically built a comprehensive program for entrepreneurship just now.
00:34:03.658 --> 00:34:10.844
At that time, I had already become aware of the online coaching world as well, which I didn't know existed.
00:34:10.844 --> 00:34:16.288
Then, like, oh, there's actually businesses on the internet where people are coaching others and making money, right?
00:34:16.288 --> 00:34:23.230
So?
00:34:23.230 --> 00:34:26.478
And of course, the people who first caught me were the people who buy all the ad space, right?
00:34:26.478 --> 00:34:31.413
So, like marie forleo and james woodmore and all these people that are super guru, 7, 10 figure owners, whatever.
00:34:31.413 --> 00:34:32.898
Right, I want to do that.
00:34:32.898 --> 00:34:50.530
And so I was like, okay, I guess I'm going to go into coaching, because I've always been really good with people, I really care about helping people succeed and I have a lot of these skills that I can use for my accounting and from building this first business, from creating the program right, so I could do like a form of business coaching.
00:34:52.173 --> 00:34:56.681
So that was like my decision then and a lot of stuff happened.
00:34:56.681 --> 00:35:00.474
So in August I got eloped on the Oregon coast.
00:35:00.474 --> 00:35:04.778
So we were still living in Denver and we went to the Oregon coast because we already planned a little wedding.
00:35:04.778 --> 00:35:06.572
But then COVID happened.
00:35:06.572 --> 00:35:10.653
We're like, okay, we're not doing a wedding, we're just going to go because we don't know when it's going to end.
00:35:10.653 --> 00:35:27.099
So we went and got married on the coast and then we were sitting there at a little Airbnb having our honeymoon and like why don't we live in a small house like this where you can have trees all around you and nature?
00:35:27.099 --> 00:35:30.134
And we just sat there and wrote out all of our things.
00:35:30.134 --> 00:35:33.293
We're like, we're calling in this house with for this much money.
00:35:33.293 --> 00:35:38.050
It's going to have this many rooms, it's going to be this close to town, blah, blah, blah Like.
00:35:38.050 --> 00:35:48.702
We basically wrote it out together and this was in august 2020, and by may 2021 we got a house here and we now live here in pacific northwest.
00:35:48.702 --> 00:35:53.760
So yeah, so that was a really cool manifestation congratulations.
00:35:54.121 --> 00:36:00.239
And now is this house, if you don't mind me asking, pretty similar to the manifestation that you guys needed.
00:36:00.239 --> 00:36:03.264
Yeah, okay, yeah it's pretty great.
00:36:05.657 --> 00:36:07.182
Some things that I would like to change.
00:36:07.182 --> 00:36:12.858
I can't change them because I live right next to a road and the road noise is pretty loud, so it's kind of weird.
00:36:12.858 --> 00:36:18.521
You know, you're sitting here like in nature and trees and birds and stuff, and then you just hear it's not great but it's all good.
00:36:18.521 --> 00:36:23.720
So it's probably not our forever home, but the fact that we're here is like amazing.
00:36:23.720 --> 00:36:29.036
That was another little manifestation, because we kind of thought that maybe we would retire here someday, you know.
00:36:29.036 --> 00:36:39.581
So retirement came 30, 40 years early, I guess approximately how long after you left that last business?
00:36:39.842 --> 00:36:41.284
to when did you start coaching?
00:36:48.470 --> 00:36:54.280
It was months, right, because I was kind of still in that the transition from employment to entrepreneurship was a tough one for me.
00:36:54.280 --> 00:37:16.572
I'm glad you asked me a bit about my upbringing and stuff like that, because person listening could probably tell that I I was taught from a very young age that things needed to be a very certain way right and up to about in my early 20s things were a certain way, very much like they were, very much intended it was.
00:37:16.572 --> 00:37:21.055
I was basically trying to make it to where my life was predictable.
00:37:21.055 --> 00:37:32.525
If you asked me in my early 20s where am I going to be in 5, 10 years, I could probably tell you with certainty Like I'm going to be at this firm, doing this thing, traveling, maybe living in this town.
00:37:32.525 --> 00:37:40.825
But I was very determined and all of my manifestation always worked out somehow.
00:37:41.289 --> 00:37:45.117
Now if you ask me where I'm going to be in five to 10 years, I can't tell you.
00:37:45.117 --> 00:37:54.733
And part of what I'm rewiring is the part of me that's freaking out about that right, because there's a part of me still from my past that's trying to get back to that consistency.
00:37:54.733 --> 00:38:01.302
And let's be 100% sure, even though that's not even possible I can't even guarantee tomorrow Something could happen and boom, that's not even possible.
00:38:01.302 --> 00:38:01.985
I can't even guarantee.
00:38:01.985 --> 00:38:04.894
Tomorrow, you know I, something could happen and boom, that's it.
00:38:04.894 --> 00:38:27.296
So my illusion of control was not little did I know was not actually real, but that's okay, that's part of the lesson okay and so so you started your own business a couple months later oh, right, yeah.
00:38:27.316 --> 00:38:33.622
So that's what I was trying to say is I wouldn't let myself rest either because it's okay, I the that's done, okay, now I gotta start this.
00:38:33.622 --> 00:38:40.893
And of course, all people on the internet are saying like, oh, you can just make all your money in 90 days, you just need to have the right formula.
00:38:40.893 --> 00:38:52.181
And I invested in a lot of the gotta have the right formula people right Because I mean it makes sense If they have a playbook, then I want the playbook, because I'm a person who plays by the rules.
00:38:52.181 --> 00:38:58.285
Unfortunately, there are no rules, but that's what the playbook says.
00:38:58.285 --> 00:39:01.407
But you got to pay, you know, five, 10 grand to obtain that.
00:39:07.329 --> 00:39:11.682
Anyway, regardless, I enrolled in life coach school because I wanted to make sure that I had the proper skills to actually help people.
00:39:11.682 --> 00:39:12.423
That was very helpful.
00:39:12.423 --> 00:39:19.891
And you know, in life coach school or in any kind of certifications, they usually encourage you to work on your own stuff, right?
00:39:19.891 --> 00:39:21.414
What do you want to change in your life?
00:39:21.414 --> 00:39:23.898
Your first client is usually you, right?
00:39:23.898 --> 00:39:26.503
So it was very helpful.
00:39:26.503 --> 00:39:31.400
I mean, I already worked with a coach for a year, so I feel like I got a head start on a lot of that stuff.
00:39:31.400 --> 00:39:59.872
You know, when it came down to helping me with a lot of these reoccurring challenges that I was having, mindset-wise, there got to a point where traditional coaching was just not, it was not helping me anymore, because I was so aware of what my problems were that it got to the point where it was like, well, you know, you know that doesn't serve you.
00:39:59.872 --> 00:40:04.394
Yeah, I know, okay, so you can choose to change it.
00:40:04.394 --> 00:40:09.019
I'm like, yeah, I know I can choose to, okay, so why don't you just do it?
00:40:09.019 --> 00:40:12.642
And I'm like I don't know why, but I don't like I can't let it go.
00:40:12.642 --> 00:40:16.985
I've done the meditation, I've done whatever you wanted me to do, and it's still there.
00:40:16.985 --> 00:40:18.807
I still I don't know.
00:40:18.807 --> 00:40:22.851
It's still there.
00:40:22.851 --> 00:40:23.452
I still I don't know.
00:40:23.452 --> 00:40:24.155
I'm highly critical of myself.
00:40:24.155 --> 00:40:24.938
I still compare myself to people.
00:40:24.938 --> 00:40:27.567
I still have all of these patterns that are really hard to just let go.
00:40:27.567 --> 00:40:36.538
I'm still freaking out about money and how I'm not making it as fast as I wanted to, because my brain was desperately trying to cling back to my old life, you know.
00:40:36.538 --> 00:40:42.240
And that's when I was like there has to be something else out there that can help me.
00:40:42.240 --> 00:40:50.351
And that's when I found hypnosis right and the like working with the subconscious, because it made perfect sense.
00:40:50.351 --> 00:40:51.353
It's well okay.
00:40:52.454 --> 00:40:57.843
When we are, when we're growing up, what happens is our brain.
00:40:57.843 --> 00:41:06.581
We have a certain brain wave that's happening, which is usually like the theta brainwave state, and that's the same state that your brain goes into when you're in hypnosis.
00:41:06.581 --> 00:41:13.753
So when you're in theta brainwave you're a lot more suggestible and children are automatically in that brainwave state.
00:41:13.753 --> 00:41:17.512
So it makes sense that when you're a child you just kind of soak everything up.
00:41:17.512 --> 00:41:23.113
And also, when you're a child you don't have the ability to reason until a certain age.
00:41:23.673 --> 00:41:29.251
So when something happens, you usually make it mean something about you, right?
00:41:29.251 --> 00:41:44.403
You're not like, oh, that person had a bad day and they kind of projected on me, right, you just say, oh, that person yelled at me, that means that I'm bad or I'm not good enough or something like that, and so that's, I think, how a lot of these narratives get created or beliefs, right.
00:41:44.403 --> 00:41:55.550
So I was kind of telling you that I was taught to compare myself a lot, my grades right, and I was taught that I needed to be a certain way and to do a certain thing in society.
00:41:55.550 --> 00:42:17.356
So those were my subconscious programs that were like the foundation of how I needed to live my life in order to be okay, in order to be worthy, in order to be seen as a worthwhile human, and that might seem extreme, but that's how it actually was in my mind, so yeah.
00:42:17.356 --> 00:42:20.739
So I was like, oh yeah, it makes sense.
00:42:20.739 --> 00:42:25.242
If you want to change these subconscious programs, you got to work with subconscious methods.
00:42:27.471 --> 00:42:30.219
So how did the hypnosis start working for you?
00:42:30.219 --> 00:42:31.182
Was it successful?
00:42:43.690 --> 00:42:44.652
layer of learning all of the stuff.
00:42:44.652 --> 00:42:47.679
Oh, my god, it makes sense that up to age seven, eight is when a lot of these programs get formed.
00:42:47.679 --> 00:42:49.021
Oh, where was I in those years?
00:42:49.021 --> 00:42:50.264
Russia, I'm like that makes sense.
00:42:50.264 --> 00:43:00.059
And then, yeah, I just I began to use them and began to see results that I had never seen, with some of these patterns that were really sticky.
00:43:01.123 --> 00:43:24.360
So what I didn't really like, though, eventually, was that I needed to listen to an audio pretty much daily, and I was also just I don't know, I was using hypnosis scripts a lot and I was writing my own hypnosis scripts where I would be like working with my clients and creating custom ones for them, which was really cool and they really enjoyed it.
00:43:24.360 --> 00:43:37.555
However, it would take me an hour and a half session with a client where I would get the information I needed to write the script Right, and then I would take two to four hours to write the script, and then it would take me another hour and a half two hours to record it and edit it professionally and add the music and all that.
00:43:37.555 --> 00:43:46.244
So I'm like, okay, so I'm spending like seven hours per client that I'm charging I don't know 200 bucks for to do all this.
00:43:46.244 --> 00:43:50.276
It's not sustainable and I know that there's other ways of does not require that.
00:43:50.276 --> 00:43:53.851
A lot of hypnotists actually don't condone scripts and all that kind of stuff.
00:43:53.851 --> 00:44:01.892
You know I use other methods, but like I knew that I wanted to do something different that didn't require me to do all that.
00:44:02.893 --> 00:44:15.864
So I started looking for other solutions and again I came across this company called Andreas NLP.
00:44:15.864 --> 00:44:26.579
In the early days, like in the 70s, were part of the pioneers of the neuro-linguistic programming or NLP movement and self-development.
00:44:26.579 --> 00:44:39.436
So Connie Ray, she's the one that created a method called core transformation, which is a parts work method, so it allows us to work with different aspects of ourselves and transform them on a subconscious level.
00:44:39.436 --> 00:44:47.016
So after I found that it like oh my gosh, it just clicked on so many different levels.
00:44:47.016 --> 00:45:24.945
First of all, I no longer needed to listen to audio tapes every day and second of all, it just started really unlocking more of my, more of who I believe I truly am underneath all this conditioning, underneath all of these programs, more of my genuine essence, and I've never experienced that before until now now you said with the hypnosis you experienced results like you had never seen before.
00:45:25.910 --> 00:45:26.992
What, what?
00:45:26.992 --> 00:45:32.782
Can you give us an example of maybe some result, that something you experienced?
00:45:33.804 --> 00:45:40.800
Sure, just, you know severe negative self-talk that was constantly running like a background loop in my brain.
00:45:40.800 --> 00:45:49.280
I tried my best to use what some coaches were like you need to just tell yourself to stop and go.
00:45:49.280 --> 00:45:50.873
Do something else, change your mind.
00:45:50.873 --> 00:45:52.441
You know, go, I don't know.
00:45:52.441 --> 00:45:55.735
Go, do something happy or like dance or something like that which is really it's good.
00:45:55.735 --> 00:46:00.751
I still use some of those things myself today for like an in the moment interruption.
00:46:01.393 --> 00:46:08.845
It's just not a very sustainable method because it requires willpower to use over time and you have to keep repeating it over and over again.
00:46:08.845 --> 00:46:19.041
So, for the first time, after listening to, you know, really positive audio, transformational audio for two or three weeks I began to.
00:46:19.041 --> 00:46:27.851
That soundtrack in my mind that was, like always self-critical began to dissipate on its own and I didn't have to do anything and I was like what is this?
00:46:27.851 --> 00:46:29.173
Why?
00:46:29.173 --> 00:46:31.737
Okay?
00:46:31.737 --> 00:46:41.702
So it started to automatically change certain reactions that I had to things or certain repeating thoughts that I had, without me having to do anything.
00:46:41.702 --> 00:47:01.095
But I was doing something right, I was listening to these, I was putting myself into a very relaxed state, which, I mentioned earlier, creates a suggestible environment for your subconscious, and then you're basically feeding your subconscious with a lot more positive affirmations, a lot more life-affirming words.
00:47:01.555 --> 00:47:03.956
So I am enough, like I do.
00:47:03.956 --> 00:47:11.141
I love myself, I am capable, I can do this, I'm doing this, I'm doing really good.
00:47:11.141 --> 00:47:18.905
That is such a different soundtrack to what was before, when it was like you're not doing this fast enough.
00:47:18.905 --> 00:47:24.110
You should be here, you.
00:47:24.110 --> 00:47:24.771
What did you do?
00:47:24.771 --> 00:47:27.938
Like you should be going back to your old life.
00:47:27.938 --> 00:47:29.320
You want people to be proud of you.
00:47:29.320 --> 00:47:33.974
No one should be proud of you right now, like you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing.
00:47:33.974 --> 00:47:51.276
Just a lot of ego-driven fear and lack, and it's really hard to change just by forcing yourself to stop thinking that way yeah, no, it is okay.
00:47:52.157 --> 00:47:55.282
So now quote this core transformation.
00:47:55.282 --> 00:48:00.512
How would you say, or would you say, it's similar to hypnosis?
00:48:01.952 --> 00:48:07.097
I mean there are some similarities in that it generally feels very relaxing to experience.
00:48:07.097 --> 00:48:10.220
However, it's not hypnosis.
00:48:10.220 --> 00:48:12.461
Well, there's different kinds of hypnosis.
00:48:12.461 --> 00:48:17.867
I think the line has been blurred about what is hypnosis and what is neurolinguistic programming and what is all this stuff.
00:48:17.867 --> 00:48:28.454
There's so many different forms and types that you can't say this is what it is and this is what it's not.
00:48:28.454 --> 00:48:30.538
All I can say is, with hypnosis there's generally an element of becoming relaxed.
00:48:30.538 --> 00:48:45.096
So practicing some kind of relaxation technique before you start either visualizing or feeding yourself affirmations right With core transformation there's definitely elements of being relaxed, but it's not intentional.
00:48:45.177 --> 00:48:47.512
I normally start my sessions with a couple of deep breaths.
00:48:47.512 --> 00:48:51.244
That's not actually a part of the formal process.
00:48:51.244 --> 00:49:04.177
I just do that so we can arrive together and then I just go ahead and start inviting my clients to bring up a situation where the pattern that they want to change last occurred and we get into it.
00:49:04.177 --> 00:49:18.997
Then, before they know it, the body naturally goes into a very relaxed state, a very resourceful state, and they kind of go from there and I guess there is a similarity, a big similarity, that it creates change on the subconscious level.
00:49:18.997 --> 00:49:21.842
So this is not like logical conscious.
00:49:21.842 --> 00:49:23.425
Oh, it makes sense.
00:49:23.425 --> 00:49:33.958
This is you are literally rewiring your subconscious mind to change your perception of life, because that's what reality is it's perception.
00:49:33.958 --> 00:49:36.959
People are saying you create your own reality.
00:49:36.959 --> 00:49:41.461
To me, that means your perception creates your reality.
00:49:41.461 --> 00:49:54.474
Right, when you look outside and you see the sun I see the sun right now I say, oh, it's going to be a great day, it's sunny, I can wear my dress later.
00:49:54.474 --> 00:49:55.476
I'm excited for that.
00:49:55.476 --> 00:49:59.213
Somebody might look outside and say that's terrible.
00:49:59.213 --> 00:50:03.376
I don't like the sun, it's too bright, I'm going to have a shitty day.
00:50:03.376 --> 00:50:05.737
So which one of us is correct?
00:50:05.737 --> 00:50:07.675
None of us is correct.
00:50:07.675 --> 00:50:10.555
It's however you choose to perceive.
00:50:10.555 --> 00:50:13.182
It is what you'll get.
00:50:13.182 --> 00:50:22.807
I consciously chose right now to tell you that I'm excited, but sometimes you make unconscious choices that you're not consciously aware of.
00:50:23.128 --> 00:50:29.202
Right, you might have a certain reaction to something, automatic reaction, right?
00:50:29.202 --> 00:50:31.477
That just kind of happens.
00:50:31.477 --> 00:50:33.057
You don't choose to make that happen.
00:50:33.057 --> 00:50:36.059
Let's say that you did something right now that highly triggered me.
00:50:36.059 --> 00:50:39.440
I don't know what it would be, but let's say you said something really terrible about me.
00:50:39.440 --> 00:50:48.041
I would probably get really defensive right away and it would just kind of be a I wouldn't be like okay, now I'm going to get defensive.
00:50:48.041 --> 00:50:52.657
It would just be like oh, my gut is now weirdly like.
00:50:52.657 --> 00:50:56.143
I have tension in my body and I have heaviness in my chest.
00:50:56.143 --> 00:50:57.105
Why is that happening?
00:50:57.105 --> 00:51:02.663
Right, because there's a subconscious program that got activated when you said something nasty to me.
00:51:02.663 --> 00:51:05.237
I didn't choose to make that happen.
00:51:05.237 --> 00:51:12.461
So, in a way, we go through life with a lot of these reactions that we're not aware of.
00:51:12.461 --> 00:51:13.943
What's actually kicking them off?
00:51:13.943 --> 00:51:19.403
And what's kicking them off is these subconscious programs that we have that we may or may not be consciously aware of.
00:51:21.572 --> 00:51:22.898
That makes a lot of sense.
00:51:22.898 --> 00:51:24.749
Okay.
00:51:24.749 --> 00:51:48.300
That's true, though, that our perception really dictates our reality, based on what we're okay now, I'll say that, too, that I, during our session, I felt relaxed, but I don't like you didn't guide me through a meditation you didn't like even as breathwork I can.
00:51:48.300 --> 00:51:57.344
When I facilitate breathwork, I tried to facilitate starting it with relaxation, and now I can tell that I felt it, but it wasn't.
00:51:57.344 --> 00:52:00.860
It didn't seem like you were doing it intentionally, if that makes sense.
00:52:08.650 --> 00:52:15.771
Yeah, I think just the nature of the process helps your body relax, because what we do in the process is we find a part of you that you'd like to change, so like a feeling or behavior or thought that you'd like to change.
00:52:15.771 --> 00:52:40.556
And then the nature of the questions, when we start talking to that part of you, I think it naturally slows down your breathing, it relaxes your nervous system, it naturally puts you into a relaxed state because you're going into deeper layers of yourself and when you also turn inward, there's like this yeah, there's just a, there's just a relaxation.
00:52:40.556 --> 00:52:41.557
That happens naturally.
00:52:41.898 --> 00:52:45.010
So, yeah, okay, that makes sense.
00:52:45.010 --> 00:52:49.818
So now this core transformation.
00:52:49.818 --> 00:52:52.423
How did you first discover this?
00:52:53.171 --> 00:53:00.561
you know, it was one of those like paying attention to signals of the universe thing Like I.
00:53:00.561 --> 00:53:09.576
I started seeing a bunch of people on my Facebook feed start posting about something called like eye movement integration or something, and they were like this is amazing.
00:53:09.576 --> 00:53:10.740
Blah, blah, blah.
00:53:10.740 --> 00:53:12.208
And I'm like what is this?
00:53:12.208 --> 00:53:19.836
And I started Googling it and I tied it back to Andreas and LP and I'm like, oh okay, well, this company, this is interesting.
00:53:19.836 --> 00:53:23.030
And then I was listening to a random lecture.
00:53:23.030 --> 00:53:26.663
This was all happening within a few weeks of each other.
00:53:26.663 --> 00:53:39.242
Right, I was listening to a random lecture about self-confidence from some hypnosis conference or something, and he was like, by the way, everything I'm talking about in this lecture is from Connie Ray's book Core Transformation or Wholeness or something and you can find more information on Andreas NLP.
00:53:39.242 --> 00:53:45.240
I'm like about in this lecture is from Connie Ray's book, you know, core transformation or like wholeness or something, and you can find more information on Andreas NLP.
00:53:45.240 --> 00:53:50.222
I'm like, okay, so it pointed me back to that website again.
00:53:50.784 --> 00:53:54.916
And then I went on the website, finally, and I reached out to them and I was like this is what I want to do.
00:53:54.916 --> 00:53:56.942
I am a transformational coach.
00:53:56.942 --> 00:53:59.014
I want to have better results with my clients.
00:53:59.014 --> 00:54:08.237
I'm currently doing hypnosis and coaching and they wrote back and they were like yeah, core transformation would be a really great place to start exploring your journey.
00:54:08.237 --> 00:54:12.492
So I signed on to their foundation course for the core transformation method.
00:54:12.492 --> 00:54:16.452
I started going through it and I was like wait a minute, this sounds really familiar.
00:54:16.452 --> 00:54:24.974
And I went back to look at my coach certification notes and there was a whole section in there where we actually learned part of the method.
00:54:24.974 --> 00:54:35.010
This was back three years ago and at the top of my notes in the coach certification it said like special thanks to Connie Ray Andreas for this contribution.
00:54:35.010 --> 00:54:37.673
I'm like what is what it's like?
00:54:37.673 --> 00:54:38.516
A full circle thing.
00:54:38.516 --> 00:54:52.450
So you know, like when you have so many confirmations like that, you kind of pay attention okay, there definitely seems like there were synchronicities there for you.
00:54:52.931 --> 00:54:56.596
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, wow, that's so cool.
00:54:56.596 --> 00:54:58.739
So what would you say?
00:54:58.739 --> 00:55:05.354
This quote transformation has helped you personally with the mouth oh my gosh, so much stuff.
00:55:05.394 --> 00:55:11.452
I would say my biggest win up to now I kind of mentioned negative self talk earlier.
00:55:11.452 --> 00:55:16.625
Part of my negative self-talk was just this constant feeling of not.
00:55:16.625 --> 00:55:21.456
It's a constant self-doubt and not feeling good enough.
00:55:21.456 --> 00:55:30.262
I would freak out so much before all of my client calls I'd be okay, you know I would, I'd show up effectively and help them and stuff.
00:55:30.262 --> 00:55:35.302
But beforehand I would always be in this nervousness and what if they don't like me?
00:55:35.302 --> 00:55:36.713
Or what if I say something bad?
00:55:36.713 --> 00:55:39.541
Or what if I don't get it right, or what if they can't have results?
00:55:46.010 --> 00:55:47.373
And I think it came from a place of really wanting to succeed.
00:55:47.373 --> 00:55:51.923
You know, because so much of my life I was successful with living that traditional life and it was part of my brain trying to go back to that.
00:55:51.923 --> 00:55:59.994
Let's be successful again, let's be good, let's have society like you and accept you, let the grade book be full of A's right.
00:55:59.994 --> 00:56:03.963
So I think that's where it came from.
00:56:03.963 --> 00:56:18.083
But it was a very persistent thing and that is one pattern that I had been working on for, I would say, a long time with hypnosis and it helped to a degree, but it was still there.
00:56:18.083 --> 00:56:23.579
And then when I started working on it with core transformation and started approaching various aspects of it.
00:56:23.579 --> 00:56:36.342
It really helped and most recently, I actually was able to see it, see the results of it in action, because I was having a discovery call with somebody and they were straight up, like they said things that used to send me into panic.
00:56:36.342 --> 00:56:38.012
You know something about you.
00:56:38.012 --> 00:57:14.977
I'm sure you're a great person, but I'm concerned that you haven't been doing this for very long and I don't know if this is going to work for me, because they were coming from a place of just being burned by a bunch of coaches and they were nervous to make the investment right Because they're like, oh, I don't know if this is going to work and I want you to guarantee things and I want you to oh yeah, compassion, like I get it.
00:57:14.977 --> 00:57:16.518
I also had been burned.
00:57:16.518 --> 00:57:28.021
I know what you're experiencing and, yeah, you're right, I'm not a coach that has decades of experience yet, but I will tell you I am confident in what I do.
00:57:28.021 --> 00:57:33.264
I have done hundreds of sessions on myself and hundreds of sessions on clients.
00:57:33.264 --> 00:57:36.045
I'm at the top of my class in my trainings.
00:57:36.045 --> 00:57:39.287
I'm also a mentor for this method in trainings.
00:57:39.287 --> 00:58:07.760
So, like I'm confident that this method works and that I am an effective guide, and like just saying that, from a place of not being rehearsed and not no fear or panic, is like I got off that phone call and I was like, oh my God, it's like the transformation it's happened, which is like a great convincer for me right Of the effectiveness of my work.
00:58:07.760 --> 00:58:16.050
I was like, oh, these things that have been so hard to change have finally begin to significantly shift, you know.
00:58:16.050 --> 00:58:20.271
So that is one big aspect that it's helped me with.
00:58:21.291 --> 00:58:24.072
And then I just kind of use it for man everything.
00:58:24.072 --> 00:58:26.574
I had a diet thing that I needed to do.
00:58:26.574 --> 00:58:36.077
Earlier this year my doctor suggested that I go home and I freaked out.
00:58:36.077 --> 00:58:48.883
I was like, no, there was parts of me that were like you're going to lose all your freedom and life is never going to be good again.
00:58:48.883 --> 00:58:50.143
And it was very dramatic.
00:58:50.143 --> 00:58:53.425
But I get it.
00:58:53.425 --> 00:59:07.219
I mean, I've never done something like that before and it was hard and I worked on these parts of myself that were freaking out, that were really concerned with my ability to choose and my freedom and stuff like that, and it because I was noticing behaviors that I didn't like.
00:59:07.259 --> 00:59:15.586
You know, like my husband would be like sitting there eating like a cheese sandwich or something, and I'd be like, oh well, must be nice, you get to do these things and I don't get to do that.
00:59:15.586 --> 00:59:27.961
You know, I'm sitting there being all bitter and like bitchy and stuff, and I'm noticing myself talking like that and I'm like I don't want to be that person, you know, yep.
00:59:27.961 --> 00:59:47.365
So anyway, I worked on these parts of myself and I noticed significant shifts and like my just reaction to the whole thing it's no, this is a choice, it's for my health and well-being and I'm okay, you can eat your cheese sandwich and it doesn't have to affect my internal well-being.
00:59:47.365 --> 00:59:52.657
How can the external circumstances not dictate your internal state?
00:59:52.657 --> 01:00:07.833
But just as a human being, I think that's why we're here right Is to experience a lot of these external things so we can learn lessons, and I think the lesson is different for everybody, everybody.
01:00:07.833 --> 01:00:08.614
But how can you flow through life?
01:00:08.614 --> 01:00:10.197
What do you need to learn through these experiences?
01:00:10.197 --> 01:00:17.896
For me, it's how do I create internal peace regardless of what's happening out there?
01:00:20.402 --> 01:00:31.492
So all of these disruptions in my life that happened in the last four years of, like, how do you deal with your financial situation completely being flipped on its head.
01:00:31.492 --> 01:00:39.744
How do you deal with knowing exactly what you're going to be doing, thinking you're going to know anyway in the next five years and then not knowing?
01:00:39.744 --> 01:00:52.150
How do you deal with having a decade long career where you thought you were at the top and you knew all these things, to being a complete beginner again?
01:00:52.150 --> 01:00:54.193
How do you deal with you know?
01:00:54.193 --> 01:01:00.631
How do you keep a sound emotional state while all this is happening?
01:01:00.671 --> 01:01:03.684
Because I guess you could say I chose to do all those things right.
01:01:03.684 --> 01:01:05.648
I chose to go into the entrepreneurship path.
01:01:05.648 --> 01:01:07.782
I could have just gone to go get a job in the accounting firm.
01:01:07.782 --> 01:01:23.369
Sometimes it doesn't seem like you get to choose right, like sometimes something happens with your partner of a long time, sometimes something happens really shitty with your financial situation that you don't think you had the power to control.
01:01:23.369 --> 01:01:57.568
Sometimes you have something health-wise that happens or something in your family or your friend circle that affects your life profoundly, and like how do we have these things happen and still be in a state of okayness let's not even say like joy or like bliss or ecstasy, but like okayness, you know, and not go into a deep dark hole or spiral into depression or anxiety, or fear or hopelessness, especially with the way that the world is now.
01:01:58.460 --> 01:02:00.306
Yeah, I like the word you use there.
01:02:00.306 --> 01:02:04.259
Okayness, you know, it's so true.
01:02:04.259 --> 01:02:15.090
Though, how can we have these external things that are going to come up, like you mentioned, whether it's finances, whether it's health?
01:02:15.090 --> 01:02:21.353
I got laid off from my job my typical 9 to 5 over a year ago.
01:02:21.353 --> 01:02:28.061
These things happen that we don't anticipate, that will happen, you know.
01:02:28.061 --> 01:02:32.572
And how, how do you handle that without it affecting the internal?
01:02:32.572 --> 01:02:33.353
I love that.
01:02:33.619 --> 01:02:52.579
I love that question yeah, well, and I shouldn't say not affect at all, because I think it's normal for us to have reactions to things, and especially traumatic reactions or situations, but like how can we not let it drag on for months and years and stuff like that?
01:02:52.579 --> 01:03:02.970
Right, I think it's totally normal to be disappointed or scared or anxious or stressed or whatever, and is it a constant way of being for you or is it just something that's temporary?
01:03:02.970 --> 01:03:07.286
And if it's a constant way of being, is that the kind of life that you want to live?
01:03:07.286 --> 01:03:11.903
And just knowing that there are tools out there that can actually help you.
01:03:11.903 --> 01:03:20.731
If you do have ongoing stuff like that Because for me, I didn't want to be in a chronic state of self-doubt it created a lot of stress for me.
01:03:21.311 --> 01:03:23.642
It made this whole entrepreneurship journey not very fun.
01:03:23.642 --> 01:03:31.550
It made me snark at people who were like it's fun, just, you got to stay resilient and find the fun in things.
01:03:31.550 --> 01:03:38.423
And it's no, I'm not having any fun, I'm not making any money, I'm not having sex, I don't.
01:03:38.423 --> 01:03:40.168
You know what I'm saying.
01:03:40.168 --> 01:03:43.851
Like the old Alina was like she was looking at something.
01:03:43.851 --> 01:03:53.231
She was looking at it through a lens of something that it's actually not so and, really, from my perspective, one of the best ways.
01:03:53.231 --> 01:04:02.442
There's a lot of ways, but one of the best ways to change those lenses is through subconscious change work, and for me, core transformation just happens to be the method that I love to use.
01:04:02.442 --> 01:04:09.554
It's not for everybody, but for me there are so many connections from this method that are not just.
01:04:09.554 --> 01:04:13.887
It's not just about oh, let's change your self-confidence Sure, that's great.
01:04:13.887 --> 01:04:15.992
There's also a deeper why here.
01:04:16.052 --> 01:04:24.487
For me, when we do the core transformation method these parts of ourselves that we work with we ask them what they want.
01:04:24.487 --> 01:04:36.307
Basically, it's the first part of the process and what all of these parts want, first of all, it's something positive that they want at a deeper level.
01:04:36.307 --> 01:04:40.612
For you, even if it's even what they want at the surface level, is not very positive.
01:04:40.612 --> 01:04:51.021
If they want to be angry or something like that might not be quote-unquote positive, but they want something through anger, that is positive and actually at the deepest, core level.
01:04:51.021 --> 01:04:53.867
Hence the core and core transformation.
01:04:53.867 --> 01:05:07.204
They want something that is actually a state of being, and it's a state of being that you can have regardless of your circumstances in your life and regardless of people and regardless of yourself.
01:05:07.204 --> 01:05:30.441
So it's literally just a state of being, and this process guides these parts to those states of being and they usually this is not like a mental, logical concept, you actually get to experience this in the body and it's these states.
01:05:30.441 --> 01:05:30.802
You know.
01:05:30.842 --> 01:05:45.972
A lot of them have different names, like people have different names for them, but ones that I experience often are like connection to source, or wholeness, or love that just is, or peace or tranquility, or even like joy or bliss or ecstasy.
01:05:45.972 --> 01:06:01.006
It's like these profound states and it's usually a felt experience in the body and this is part of a big reason why there's a shift that creates on the subconscious level, because their subconscious communicates through images, sounds and feelings.
01:06:01.006 --> 01:06:02.349
That's part of its language.
01:06:02.349 --> 01:06:25.510
And so when you have, when you experience that deep, profound state of being in the body, and then you, from that state, take a look at your lat old problem right, you can begin to naturally sense a perspective shift and, like we were talking about before, perception is reality.
01:06:25.510 --> 01:06:37.068
So, if you can, you're basically transforming your reality, you're rewiring your subconscious with these states of being naturally, and to me.
01:06:38.990 --> 01:06:48.653
I mean I'm into all sorts of mystical things, but I'm also a student of Taoism and Taoism is a little bit in some ways connected to Buddhism sometimes.
01:06:48.653 --> 01:06:55.773
So I'll take a peek of that stuff too, and just not a lot of Eastern philosophies or religions or whatever.
01:06:55.773 --> 01:07:18.106
They talk about the ego and they talk about who we really are beneath all this stuff, like beneath our ego, beneath our conditioning and how spirit resides in the subconscious, and it's a connection, it's a way for us to connect spiritually, it's a way for us to connect with our higher selves, and so that's really my deeper why.
01:07:18.106 --> 01:07:31.753
Because I feel like it's helping me uncover my true, like I mentioned earlier, uncover who I really am, like be the authentic expression of my soul on planet Earth.
01:07:31.753 --> 01:07:39.807
And you don't get there through a logical concept, you don't get there by saying I am.
01:07:39.807 --> 01:07:48.005
I mean you could, but for most people there's a lot of conditioning that holds them back from being that expression.
01:07:48.865 --> 01:08:08.958
And I also believe that more people I wish more people were in their full expression, because there's currently a lot of ways of doing things, like ways of doing business, ways of running our economies that are are destroying the planet and they're harming human beings or harming living beings.
01:08:08.958 --> 01:08:13.912
I would love for humanity to continue, for us to have a thriving world for all.
01:08:13.912 --> 01:08:16.626
So that's, I would say it's my deeper.
01:08:16.626 --> 01:08:54.764
Why is like helping people clear these distortions of reality from their space, these programs that are keeping them in frequencies of lack, fear and control, so that they can actually be their true selves that the world needs them to be, so it can be a better place for all of us so you know, I think even when you mentioned about all the iams, it kind of ties back in into the willpower, you know, because even with I am, you got to have the willpower to be saying that right in the midst, in the moment.
01:08:54.784 --> 01:09:00.523
If you really don't believe it, what's going to make you just out saying those affirmations in the mural?
01:09:00.523 --> 01:09:05.760
You're not, you're just not gonna do it you know, but it won't be lasting.
01:09:06.201 --> 01:09:14.029
Most people will not do it for long enough that they need to be doing it in order for it to actually effectively rewire the brain, because it does work.
01:09:14.029 --> 01:09:18.344
But the amount of times that you have to do it for most people.
01:09:18.344 --> 01:09:33.262
Let's say, I used to tell my clients that in order for you and this is from scientific studies, right like in order for you to change a pattern in your mind with repetition and stuff like that, you got to do it for 67 days or something like that On average.
01:09:33.262 --> 01:09:35.449
You know there's different people.
01:09:35.449 --> 01:09:41.292
They're like 21 days, 30 days, whatever, but anywhere between 20 and 90 days.
01:09:41.292 --> 01:09:45.349
So this is for methods that require willpower.
01:09:46.291 --> 01:09:50.188
I mean, hypnosis is not really willpower.
01:09:50.188 --> 01:10:00.103
I mean you just kind of sit there and listen, but I just and I think it works really well for some people, like people who are more suggestible maybe work better with hypnosis.
01:10:00.103 --> 01:10:03.911
So just depends on who you, who it is.
01:10:03.911 --> 01:10:06.193
That's why I'm like everything is included.
01:10:06.193 --> 01:10:16.221
It's not that I'm poopo-ing on hypnosis, it's just that I found a method that works better for me, that works more effectively and faster, and I personally did not enjoy continuing to listen to audios.
01:10:16.221 --> 01:10:17.386
Some people love it.
01:10:17.386 --> 01:10:20.840
Some people are like I love having something positive to listen to every day.
01:10:21.362 --> 01:10:29.927
Great, Now I want to backtrack a tad because you had mentioned, and I noticed we did this in my session.
01:10:29.927 --> 01:10:33.101
But you asking like, what does the pout want?
01:10:33.101 --> 01:10:35.647
What is doing that help with the most?
01:10:35.647 --> 01:10:37.311
Like asking what it wants.
01:10:39.280 --> 01:10:48.479
Right, because the whole principles of this process is that we have all these behaviors and feelings and thoughts for a reason, right?
01:10:48.479 --> 01:11:00.046
So, because all these different parts of us that want to do that behavior, they're trying to fulfill a need or a desire, right, they're not just doing it because.
01:11:00.046 --> 01:11:24.108
Doing it because and usually the reason why I say that all of our parts have a positive purpose is because a lot of them were formed in our formative years, in our childhood, and a lot of them exist for reasons of protection and for you to be a part of something, to belong, to be loved, to be cared for, to be in peace, to be safe, be safe, right?
01:11:24.108 --> 01:11:27.421
So that's why a lot of these behaviors are happening.
01:11:27.421 --> 01:11:35.552
And actually, when you start to look at the world like that, it helped me have a lot more compassion for people, because it's like why is this person this way?
01:11:35.552 --> 01:11:40.965
Well, it's because they're trying to achieve something just in a very ineffective way.
01:11:40.965 --> 01:11:51.250
Maybe a part of somebody who acts up and gets very loud and angry or something like that, like very reactive be loved.
01:11:51.250 --> 01:11:57.277
Maybe that part of them wants belonging or wants I don't know what it wants at the core level.
01:11:57.277 --> 01:12:02.129
Those are all different, but that's really what the deeper purpose is for that action.
01:12:02.129 --> 01:12:04.940
It's not so that they're just an evil person and they're an asshole.
01:12:04.940 --> 01:12:05.281
I think.
01:12:05.281 --> 01:12:16.210
For most people they're trying to achieve something, and so when we ask the part, what do you want, it can let us know what it wants at the.
01:12:16.210 --> 01:12:19.099
I mean, we start off at the surface level, right?
01:12:19.099 --> 01:12:22.228
So what do you want through this behavior of getting reactive?
01:12:22.228 --> 01:12:23.670
I want to be heard.
01:12:23.670 --> 01:12:26.201
Okay, great thanks for letting us know.
01:12:26.201 --> 01:12:28.004
And then what we do?
01:12:28.004 --> 01:12:30.710
So in the subconscious mind.
01:12:31.291 --> 01:12:34.766
The subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between real and imaginary.
01:12:34.766 --> 01:12:41.723
You've probably heard of athletes using visualization to help them be better at their craft, at their their sport.
01:12:41.723 --> 01:12:55.627
So they might envision I don't know, just imagine themselves like throwing three free throws or swimming faster, or their muscles working a certain way and, lo and behold, this actually helps them in real life.
01:12:55.627 --> 01:13:05.680
So when the part tells us what it wants and let's say, in our example, the part wanted to be heard, right, what it wants.
01:13:05.680 --> 01:13:35.171
And let's say, in our example, the part wanted to be heard right we then invite this part to step or breathe into what it's like to already have this, what it would be like in imagination, right, and so then the can ask it okay, so when you have being heard, what do you want that's even deeper or more important through having this?
01:13:35.171 --> 01:13:49.033
And so it kind of goes into these deeper layers of it's not logical right now, I mean you're, you know, eyes awake, and all that stuff, but usually the subconscious mind answers what it wants, and sometimes the answers are logical.
01:13:49.033 --> 01:14:16.326
You might say, oh, through being heard, I want to belong or I want to be safe, and that might kind of make sense, but sometimes it doesn't, and so we just say, great, thank you for letting us know, and I'll invite you to step into what it's like to be safe, right, so that the part can basically have what it wants, experience what it's like to already have it and then learn what it actually wants.
01:14:16.326 --> 01:14:34.862
That's deeper and what it wants at the core level Because that's the whole point is, once it reaches the core level, the part realizes that it actually never needed to do any of these things first, like it never needed to be angry in the first place to be heard.
01:14:34.902 --> 01:14:40.761
It never needed it to be protected or loved, because at the core level all of these things are.
01:14:40.761 --> 01:14:44.805
Usually they come when you're at the core state.
01:14:44.805 --> 01:14:53.734
You no longer have a lot of these like egoic desires to be accepted or I don't know.
01:14:53.734 --> 01:14:58.948
That just doesn't matter anymore and it's so hard to explain as like a mental concept.
01:14:58.948 --> 01:15:01.429
This is why it's such an experiential process.
01:15:01.429 --> 01:15:05.386
But I don't know, know I'd be interested.
01:15:05.386 --> 01:15:16.120
I don't know if you remember from your session how it was for you, because I think you maybe were working on your reaction to a certain person that used to trigger you and then you reached a core state like what was your experience?
01:15:17.903 --> 01:15:23.674
so I didn't expect to that the poet wanted what it was what it wanted.
01:15:23.674 --> 01:15:42.004
Honestly, I was defensive over an old co-worker of mine, like not thinking I knew what I was doing basically, and ultimately it came down to me wanting to be valued at the company and me wanting to be seen and me wanting to be heard.
01:15:42.004 --> 01:15:44.034
In general, I did be hoed.
01:15:44.034 --> 01:15:44.496
In general.
01:15:44.496 --> 01:15:52.793
I did not realize that it was that at all until we kept asking it, like it didn't come up right away either.
01:15:54.100 --> 01:16:08.030
And then when you reached the core state which I don't remember what it was for you, but do you remember when you were in the core state and I was inviting you to kind of look at all of these things that you said before the core state, like the being heard and seen and whatever.
01:16:08.030 --> 01:16:09.933
Do you remember that process?
01:16:11.442 --> 01:16:12.122
yeah, it was.
01:16:12.122 --> 01:16:22.201
I just felt bliss, like, most simply put, not agitated, which is really what I felt previously.
01:16:22.201 --> 01:16:32.773
Thinking about the environment, the interaction, I would get this agitated type feeling in my body, but I felt such a chill, like ease, almost.
01:16:32.773 --> 01:16:33.094
You know.
01:16:33.219 --> 01:17:13.290
In the process you can have that perception shift of oh actually there's no need to be reactive here and I can relax around this person because this person does not dictate my internal state, because I have the ability to step into this really resourceful way of being just by thinking about it right, remembering how it was for me to experience it in the session and when you work with it, because this work is really best when we only did one session, but this work is really powerful when you do it over time, multiple times, on different parts and stuff, because a big part of self-development really relies on repetition.
01:17:13.290 --> 01:17:18.731
Like you have to kind of force yourself into these like resourceful states.
01:17:18.731 --> 01:17:20.123
Okay, think of confidence.
01:17:20.123 --> 01:17:22.830
Okay, good, now you feel confident, great.
01:17:22.830 --> 01:17:26.201
Think of confidence.
01:17:26.201 --> 01:17:28.166
Okay, good, now you feel confident, great.
01:17:28.186 --> 01:17:32.055
But for this, if you work with enough parts, you notice an ongoing change in how you are in the world.
01:17:32.055 --> 01:17:33.519
It's hard to explain.
01:17:33.519 --> 01:17:39.652
I think I was always a pretty chill person, but I feel like I'm even more chill now.
01:17:39.652 --> 01:17:42.927
It's so much easier for me to be in compassion instead of reactivity.
01:17:42.927 --> 01:17:44.793
It's so much easier for me to be in compassion instead of reactivity.
01:17:44.793 --> 01:17:49.667
It's so much easier for me to be in presence to get into states of relaxation.
01:17:49.667 --> 01:17:53.595
I'm just a different person.
01:17:53.595 --> 01:18:17.591
But this ongoing unease that I had in the past about I don't know my current situation of the business that I'm building and like how it's going and all this stuff right, because in the past there just used to be a lot of self-criticism and that would just cause an automatic ongoing sense of unease.
01:18:17.591 --> 01:18:22.552
It was like my body was always tight, like you can't relax until you succeed.
01:18:22.552 --> 01:18:25.461
Do you know how long it takes to build a successful business?
01:18:25.461 --> 01:18:30.277
The gurus will not talk about that, but it's going and it's doing well.
01:18:30.277 --> 01:18:36.112
I'm getting clients and stuff like that, and I'm not where I want to be yet financially, but it's on its way.
01:18:36.112 --> 01:18:40.809
And from all these amazing questions you asked me, it's been a journey.
01:18:40.809 --> 01:18:43.357
This is year four for me in August of entrepreneurship in general and there's been a journey right.
01:18:43.377 --> 01:18:48.796
This is year four for me in August of entrepreneurship in general and there's been so many renditions of who I was.
01:18:48.796 --> 01:18:53.492
It's like business coach to hypnotist to now only this what am I doing?
01:18:53.492 --> 01:18:53.773
Right?
01:18:53.773 --> 01:18:59.985
It takes a while to find your groove and to restart a career and to change your identity.
01:18:59.985 --> 01:19:09.362
It's not sustainable if you are constantly doing it from a state of lack fear, worry and control.
01:19:10.965 --> 01:19:12.748
It takes a toll on your physical body.
01:19:12.748 --> 01:19:18.023
A lot of people get sick, burnt out, and it's just not.
01:19:18.023 --> 01:19:22.277
You're not a fun person to be around when you're in constant stress.
01:19:22.277 --> 01:19:26.742
So I knew I wanted to change that, because I'm playing the long game.
01:19:26.742 --> 01:19:28.586
I'm serious about my career.
01:19:28.586 --> 01:19:35.210
I'm serious about building mastery in these skills and creating a really great business out of it and serving a lot of people.
01:19:35.210 --> 01:19:36.640
That's going to take time.
01:19:36.640 --> 01:19:47.934
So in the meantime, how can I affect my internal state to be as present, how can I affect my internal state to be as present, calm and resourceful as possible?
01:19:47.934 --> 01:19:50.302
That's my goal.
01:19:50.302 --> 01:19:54.252
I think a lot of people are probably in those similar situations, especially if they're building empathy.
01:19:56.242 --> 01:19:56.764
I gotcha.
01:19:56.764 --> 01:20:12.469
I really like how you said you went from a business coach to a hypnologist, because it really highlights and I don't think a lot of people talk about it enough we all go through so many pivots.
01:20:12.469 --> 01:20:15.520
It's normal, it's a part of life.
01:20:15.520 --> 01:20:22.585
You know, just because you started your own business, doing x doesn't mean that's what your business is still going to be.
01:20:22.585 --> 01:20:24.210
I just really love that.
01:20:24.210 --> 01:20:28.608
You said that, because I don't think enough people even mention that.
01:20:28.608 --> 01:20:34.127
To be honest, you start fitness coaching, for example, and then you realize it's life coaching you want to do.
01:20:34.127 --> 01:20:44.492
It happens to so many of us because you don't know how you are going to like something, how it's going to be, until you experience it.
01:20:45.414 --> 01:20:47.906
Totally, and I agree with you that it's normal.
01:20:47.906 --> 01:20:55.472
And yet for somebody like me who used to think that there was just one path, no, so did I.
01:20:55.699 --> 01:21:04.748
So that's even also why I really wanted to highlight that, because I'm like I know my listeners relate to that Because I was on the steady trajectory.
01:21:04.748 --> 01:21:06.966
You go to school, you're going to be a family.
01:21:06.966 --> 01:21:28.723
Now I ask a lot of guests and it kind of made me think of this now, have you had a moment a lot of people have had a few, but would you say you've had a big aha moment in your life when you realized something big, big, something different about the world that shaped your reality?
01:21:30.307 --> 01:21:34.719
the last four years I feel like have been a giant aha moment in general.
01:21:34.719 --> 01:22:04.210
I mean, I've already shared multiples of these on the show today, but learning about the subconscious mind and how a big reason of why we are the way we are, has been a giant revelation for me, because it basically says that there's a lot of room for change and there's a lot of room for expansion beyond the confines of what we think is reality, like just the question of what is reality is.
01:22:04.210 --> 01:22:25.774
It's a big revelation because I don't think there's a correct answer there, and once you start diving into these rabbit holes of um, uncovering some of these layers of conditioning, I mean there's a lot there to discover and a lot of ahas that come just from that.
01:22:25.774 --> 01:22:40.670
Oh hey, that's not actually how the world really is, and everything that I thought needed to be a certain way actually doesn't, and what else is possible, and so that's a big question.
01:22:42.754 --> 01:22:43.235
That's true.
01:22:43.235 --> 01:22:44.179
That's true.
01:22:44.179 --> 01:22:44.659
That's true.
01:22:44.659 --> 01:22:46.204
What else is possible?
01:22:46.204 --> 01:22:46.846
I love that.
01:22:46.846 --> 01:22:58.931
Now, do you have a favorite thing or experience that has happened with any of your clients throughout a core transformation, either session or journey, with you?
01:22:58.931 --> 01:23:00.705
I'm just curious.
01:23:02.039 --> 01:23:10.344
Yeah, well, I have a client who I've been working with for quite a while actually and it's just been really cool to see his progression in general.
01:23:10.344 --> 01:23:33.630
He big part of that is working with a lot of these parts that are fearful and basically say that he can't do it and he's going to fail, and all these things.
01:23:33.630 --> 01:23:42.528
That's been really rewarding to watch somebody do really hard, challenging things that I know are going to stretch him for the better.
01:23:42.528 --> 01:23:49.271
I mean, I'm sure it's not going to be all easy, but he's not going to regret this decision later on in life probably.
01:23:49.271 --> 01:23:58.662
I can't speak for everybody, but he probably will not, according to what he told me anyway, because everything that he decides he does himself.
01:23:58.983 --> 01:24:10.945
I don't tell him to do anything and, yeah, just watching countless people go into these states and then be like I've never experienced something like that before.
01:24:10.945 --> 01:24:13.331
I never thought about it that way before.
01:24:13.331 --> 01:24:22.116
Or there's a portion of the process where I tell people that they can either nod or just give me a short verbal answer, because sometimes it's just easier to stay inside.
01:24:22.116 --> 01:24:26.089
And I usually nod because I don't have the words to describe what I'm experiencing.
01:24:26.089 --> 01:24:34.652
But I enjoy the people who choose to give me verbal answers, because it's almost like I get to sit there and experience sages.
01:24:34.652 --> 01:24:35.472
You know it's all.
01:24:35.472 --> 01:24:47.389
My clients become sages and they have all this incredible wisdom that comes out when they are experiencing these core states of being just the most amazing stuff like comes out of their mouth.
01:24:47.389 --> 01:24:50.020
I'm like I never thought about it that way too.
01:24:50.020 --> 01:24:50.422
That's cool.
01:24:50.422 --> 01:25:02.244
I don't reply like that, I just I'm silent, but it's cool to hear people's revelations about reality and their perceptions of life and yeah, so it's just, it's a constant aha for me.
01:25:03.929 --> 01:25:05.170
That's awesome.
01:25:05.170 --> 01:25:06.213
I love that.
01:25:06.213 --> 01:25:13.827
And I love that story about your client you've worked with for a while, because, I mean, you mentioned this decision he made.
01:25:13.827 --> 01:25:18.539
It's not going to be easy, but that made me think of even the entrepreneurship journey.
01:25:18.539 --> 01:25:25.104
It's not easy but, like in the grand scheme of it, he'll be grateful and this helped him be able to take that leap.
01:25:25.104 --> 01:25:27.969
Yeah, yeah, it's awesome.
01:25:27.969 --> 01:25:28.851
I love that.
01:25:28.851 --> 01:25:30.033
I love that.
01:25:30.960 --> 01:25:34.967
So have you heard of a man named Jay Shetty?
01:25:34.967 --> 01:25:37.893
Yes, big fan.
01:25:37.893 --> 01:25:51.006
So he's got a podcast called On Purpose and he ends most of his episodes with two segments and I stole them, so I asked them on my podcast.
01:25:51.006 --> 01:25:54.172
The first segment is called the Many Sides.
01:25:54.172 --> 01:25:59.331
To Us there's five questions and they need to be answered in one word each.
01:25:59.331 --> 01:26:08.931
What is one word someone who was meeting you for the first time would use to describe you?
01:26:08.931 --> 01:26:11.235
Chill?
01:26:11.235 --> 01:26:20.909
Number two what is one word that someone who knows you extremely well would use to describe you?
01:26:20.909 --> 01:26:23.434
Caring?
01:26:23.434 --> 01:26:29.869
Number three what is one word you'd use to describe yourself?
01:26:29.869 --> 01:26:40.264
Number four what is one word that, if someone didn't like you or agree with your mindset, would you use to describe you?
01:26:42.349 --> 01:26:42.971
Crazy.
01:26:44.460 --> 01:26:45.002
I don't know.
01:26:45.002 --> 01:26:52.820
Number five what is one word you're embodying right now, present?
01:26:52.820 --> 01:27:04.039
Okay, then the second segment is the final five, and these can be answered in a sentence what is the best advice you've heard or received?
01:27:04.039 --> 01:27:04.701
What is?
01:27:04.820 --> 01:27:06.181
the best advice you've heard or received.
01:27:06.181 --> 01:27:13.328
You know, maybe one of the best pieces of advice came from my spiritual mentor that she was sharing with me.
01:27:13.328 --> 01:27:19.194
You know how there's two different ways of looking at things.
01:27:19.194 --> 01:27:41.830
There's like the micro view, so what is happening right in front of you, like right now, right, me and you are having this conversation on StreamYard, whatever and there's a macro view, which is the expanded, larger view.
01:27:41.830 --> 01:27:49.411
Know, my perception of it is right and we mean you have no idea the impact that this is actually creating in the world.
01:27:49.411 --> 01:27:56.729
So we don't know who's going to listen to this, we don't know how it's going to impact their life and me.
01:27:56.729 --> 01:28:03.107
You are actually in a certain energetic frequency right now too, and we don't know how that is affecting the planet fully.
01:28:04.309 --> 01:28:22.828
So, just whenever you have any kind of situation, really it's always helpful to remember that it's usually not whatever you think it is, because you have no idea what the full ramification of whatever your experience is right.
01:28:23.649 --> 01:28:39.752
So that's kind of like why there's a lot of chinese sage stories that talk about the power of maybe right, it's oh, that's amazing, and it's maybe oh, that's really bad, maybe right because you don't know.
01:28:39.752 --> 01:28:46.747
Sure, like from the, the minimal, I don't know closed.
01:28:46.747 --> 01:29:07.547
In perspective it could be one or the other, but really you don't know what it is, because even something really terrible happening yes, it's terrible that maybe some people passed away or something like that right, or got killed, and you also don't know how that could be affecting other people around.
01:29:07.547 --> 01:29:11.440
Maybe that witness this, maybe they are now closer to people than they've ever been.
01:29:11.440 --> 01:29:16.250
Maybe there's community that has come together and rekindled something.
01:29:16.250 --> 01:29:21.991
Maybe there is a frequency of love that got awakened that was never there before.
01:29:21.991 --> 01:29:23.094
We don't really know.
01:29:23.094 --> 01:29:34.872
So it's really hard to label things as good or bad, or right or wrong, or you know, polarities okay, I like that.
01:29:34.993 --> 01:29:40.090
Okay, number two what is the worst advice you've heard or received?
01:29:42.804 --> 01:29:58.770
that there is a certain way of doing things, or that it's good or bad or right or wrong, probably because it keeps people in limited mindsets right, that there is just one way or one specific box that you have to shove yourself into.
01:30:00.674 --> 01:30:02.038
No, I completely agree.
01:30:02.038 --> 01:30:08.982
That is honestly something I try to emphasize, so much so on the podcast about everything.
01:30:08.982 --> 01:30:13.355
Anything you want to do in life there is 5,000 ways to do it.
01:30:13.355 --> 01:30:14.579
You want to get a six-pack?
01:30:14.579 --> 01:30:18.359
You can get a six-pack a different way than Joe Schmo down the street got his six-pack.
01:30:18.359 --> 01:30:20.028
You want to become an entrepreneur?
01:30:20.028 --> 01:30:22.099
You can do it a different way than Joe Schmo down the street.
01:30:22.099 --> 01:30:26.751
There are a thousand ways to do every and anything you want to do completely.
01:30:26.751 --> 01:30:33.446
Number three what is something that you used to value that you no longer value?
01:30:33.466 --> 01:30:34.750
Oh, my gosh.
01:30:34.750 --> 01:30:36.673
Well, did you listen to the podcast?
01:30:36.673 --> 01:30:40.985
Because I feel like we just talked about all that, you know.
01:30:40.985 --> 01:30:44.773
In summary, I used to really value a predictable way of life.
01:30:44.773 --> 01:30:56.272
I used to really value what I thought I had control over having a certain amount of finances coming in a consistent way or something like that and I would usually make decisions based on that.
01:30:56.272 --> 01:30:59.911
Is it going to be consistent, is it going to be predictable?
01:30:59.911 --> 01:31:02.460
So that was a big part of my value system.
01:31:02.460 --> 01:31:03.929
So safety and predictability was a big part of my value system.
01:31:03.929 --> 01:31:10.188
So safety and predictability was a big part of my value system and while it still is to a degree, I mean I am a human being.
01:31:10.188 --> 01:31:19.173
I much value growth, spiritual growth, expansion and learning and service.
01:31:19.173 --> 01:31:26.137
That goes beyond that goes beyond.
01:31:27.839 --> 01:31:31.029
If you could describe what you would want your legacy to be as if someone was reading it, what would you want it to say?
01:31:33.240 --> 01:31:57.529
She had the courage and ability to step into who she truly is and therefore helped other people do the same, and therefore the earth was a better place because of it.
01:32:00.321 --> 01:32:01.547
That's beautiful.
01:32:01.547 --> 01:32:02.360
Okay, that's beautiful.
01:32:02.360 --> 01:32:09.844
Okay, if you could create one law in the world that everyone had to follow, what would it be?
01:32:10.365 --> 01:32:18.091
and I want to know why that's a cool question that goes against all my daoist stuff.
01:32:18.091 --> 01:32:24.752
Let's see, the worst thing that came was, like you know, there is no rules.
01:32:24.752 --> 01:32:35.510
But I don't really like that because that goes into another deep rabbit hole, because there are some great rules that exist to keep society somewhat safe.
01:32:35.510 --> 01:32:45.750
Gosh, question everything perhaps would be a great law, and you know why.
01:32:45.750 --> 01:33:02.265
It might help you see things in a different way and it might help you have a totally, completely different experience of life in a positive way, in resourceful way.
01:33:02.265 --> 01:33:12.659
Because when we get stuck in these ideas that again things need to be a certain way right, it can create a lot of suffering.
01:33:13.440 --> 01:33:15.163
Expectations can create suffering.
01:33:15.163 --> 01:33:20.232
Other people's ideas of what's true can create suffering.
01:33:20.232 --> 01:33:33.973
So if you question everything and I mean in a healthy way, not like a doubt yourself or whatever, but just a playful, curious way of questioning I wonder if that's true.
01:33:33.973 --> 01:33:40.442
I wonder if that can be somehow expanded, or I wonder if that can be thought of in a different way or done in a different way.
01:33:40.442 --> 01:33:48.886
I wonder if this is who, who I really am, or if this is just who I've learned to be, or someone imposed this on me.
01:33:48.886 --> 01:33:51.451
I wonder if this feeling is mine.
01:33:51.451 --> 01:34:09.250
I wonder if this, you know, it's like a curious way of being that continuously expands your perspective of life and creates so much more freedom and, to me, joy and satisfaction, fulfillment.
01:34:11.420 --> 01:34:12.884
Okay, and now?
01:34:12.884 --> 01:34:18.768
Where can the listeners connect with you and are they able to do a Choro Transformation session with you?
01:34:19.519 --> 01:34:20.560
Absolutely so.
01:34:20.560 --> 01:34:47.004
People can find me on my website at alinanyakushinacom, and also I'm primarily on Instagram, at heyalinaN or LinkedIn, and yeah, I offer single sessions and I also offer packages for core transformation and you can read about it more on my website from and I will link that in the show notes so you guys can click it directly.
01:34:47.025 --> 01:34:48.108
And before we close out, is there any final words?
01:34:48.108 --> 01:34:50.536
You want to leave the listeners with no pressure.
01:34:50.536 --> 01:34:54.567
I do just like to leave the floor to the guest yeah, thank you.
01:34:55.007 --> 01:35:09.951
I actually did want to add that I also have a weekly newsletter that I create called subconscious success sunday, and folks who sign up they can learn a lot of different tools and methods and just tips and tricks about our subconscious mind and how we can work with it.
01:35:09.951 --> 01:35:13.104
So I'd sign up for that.
01:35:13.104 --> 01:35:22.323
I'm actually going, I'm celebrating that I've been writing it weekly now for over 64 weeks, so officially over a year, yeah.
01:35:22.323 --> 01:35:31.652
But besides that, I want to leave the listener with just some parting words of that.
01:35:31.791 --> 01:36:08.945
If you are in any kind of perpetual state of being that you don't like, so you know you're noticing that you're just constantly in this even low grade and ease or anxiety or stress, and you know you may or may not know why it's happening, but I want you to know that there are ways of transforming those things in a way that's gentle, in a way that doesn't require you to dig up traumas from the past or doesn't require you to necessarily feel it to heal it, which I don't agree with that completely all the time.
01:36:08.945 --> 01:36:28.729
Basically, if you have been trying something and it's just not been working, I would invite you to check out something like Core Transformation, because it really is a gentle process that allows you to heal on a deep level in a way that you probably never experienced before, and you can read a lot about it on coretransformationorg.
01:36:28.729 --> 01:36:33.972
There's the Andreas NLP website and, of course, I'm happy to chat with you about it as well.
01:36:33.972 --> 01:36:36.400
I give complimentary discovery calls.
01:36:38.605 --> 01:36:39.807
Okay, awesome.
01:36:39.807 --> 01:36:41.591
Well, thank you so much.
01:36:41.591 --> 01:36:52.461
I really appreciate you speaking with me and I will link all of that in the show notes so you guys can connect with Alina directly, and thank you so much again.
01:36:52.461 --> 01:36:58.940
Thank you, amanda, and thank you guys for tuning in to another episode of Amanda's Mindset.
01:36:58.940 --> 01:37:11.221
In case no one told you today, I'm proud of you, I'm booting for you and you got this, as always.
01:37:11.221 --> 01:37:21.650
If you enjoyed the show, I would really appreciate it if you would leave me a five-star rating, leave a review and share it with anyone you think would benefit from this.
01:37:21.650 --> 01:37:25.943
And don't forget you are only one mindset.
01:37:25.943 --> 01:37:28.365
Shift away from shifting your life.
01:37:28.365 --> 01:37:31.168
Thanks guys, until next time.
