A Lil bit About Not Being A Horrible Person

Hosts Sandy and Kristy chat from Sandy’s house while she recovers from wrist surgery, joking about being “a little bit dead,” time feeling faster with age, and daily life in small-town Texas. They then discuss a Netflix documentary, "Maternal Instinct" about Taylor Parker, a local case near New Boston/Mount Pleasant: Parker, who had a hysterectomy, faked a long pregnancy with bogus ultrasounds, props, and elaborate lies while claiming wealth and manipulating her boyfriend Wade Griffin and others. As suspicions grew, she targeted Reagan Hancock, a pregnant acquaintance whose pregnancy timeline matched her own, attacked her at home, stabbed her over 100 times, cut out the baby, fled toward Oklahoma, and was stopped by police; the baby died and doctors determined Parker hadn’t given birth. The episode notes the investigation, COVID-related secrecy, and Parker’s conviction and death sentence.
