SELLEST OSAST
In this special edition of Lights, Camera, Latino!, host Angel Fabián Rivera sits down with Gloria and Emily Estefan — the mother-daughter duo behind the music and lyrics of Basura — the powerful new musical inspired by the true story of Paraguay's Recycled Orchestra, now playing at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
Together, we talk about the heart behind the show, why this story matters deeply for the Latino community today, and how audiences will walk away with a new understanding of resilience, creativity, and the beauty that can rise from the most unexpected places.
Basura is now in previews at the Alliance Theatre. Grab your tickets at alliancetheatre.org — official opening night is June 12th through July 12th.
