SELLEST OSAST
A mom asks, “What’s your take on vaccines?” Instead of opinions, Kalyna teaches self-leadership: Build medical knowledge, claim autonomy to say yes/no, and own your decision. BIG POINT: Seek information, not influence from other moms—use them for data, not direction.
Self-leadership = Medical literacy + Autonomy + Ownership. Don’t outsource to mom groups; lead your family with the BRAIN framework for confident, value-aligned decisions.
Medical baseline: Learn to read studies (funder, sample, outcomes) to spot biases.
Autonomy mantra: “I can say yes, no, or change my mind—no guilt.”
Info vs Influence: Script: “Share your sources, not your side.”
BRAIN Tool: Benefits, Risks, Alternatives, Intuition, Nothing—apply to any vaccine/medical choice.
Boundaries: “I’m still researching—thanks for the input.” Model thoughtful decisions for your kids.
Action Items
Pick one pending medical decision; run it through BRAIN tonight.
Next mom chat: Ask for resources, not reassurance.
Mantra: “I seek information, not influence. I decide and own it.”
