SELLEST OSAST
Taking your vitamins every day and still feeling exhausted, inflamed, and off? The problem is that most of what you're taking never actually makes it into your body.
In this episode of Her Table, Her Rules, Juliet Peters brings on Lindsey Burwell, Founder of The Patch Method, for a straight-talking conversation about why women can do everything right and still feel everything wrong.
Lindsey spent years cycling through gut issues, hormone chaos, and chronic inflammation while her labs came back "normal." That disconnect sent her deep into the science of absorption, how a liver overwhelmed by modern toxins quietly blocks nutrient uptake, and why the supplements piling up on your counter may not be reaching your cells at all. Her solution was The Patch Method, a transdermal delivery system that bypasses the gut and liver entirely and delivers nutrients straight into the bloodstream through the skin.
She also shares a story of a stage four melanoma diagnosis, emergency surgery, eight inches of her leg removed before DNA testing came back clean. No cancer. The lesson she took from it: slow down, get a second opinion, and never override your own inner knowing.
Both women get honest about the state of women's healthcare, undertested, underdiagnosed, and still catching up. Don't miss The Absorption Problem Nobody's Talking About with Lindsey Burwell .
Lindsey Burwell is the founder of The Patch Method, a modern wellness brand redefining how women optimize metabolism, hormones, energy, and detox through stylish, science-backed transdermal patches. Her work sits at the intersection of cutting-edge science and real-world practicality — making high-level wellness accessible without the overwhelm. At the core of her mission is a truth most of the wellness industry glosses over: it's not just what you take, it's what your body can actually absorb. Through The Patch Method and her educational platforms, Lindsey is solving the absorption problem head-on, helping women get more from what they put in their bodies by rethinking how it's delivered.
