SELLEST OSAST
What if you don't have much money but have plenty of time?
In this episode of the Get Wealth Show, Michael Hoang sits down with Birmingham, Alabama real estate investor Brian Trippe to break down how brand-new investors can get their first deal, find motivated sellers, build a network, and start investing without waiting until they have a pile of cash.
Brian shares how he went from discovering real estate investing in 2012 to making $10,000 on his first wholesale deal just 45 days after learning about wholesaling. He explains how he found the deal through Craigslist, negotiated with the seller, found a buyer, and figured out the transaction along the way.
The conversation then dives into Birmingham's cash-flowing real estate market, driving for dollars, finding vacant properties, making offers consistently, building buyers and private-money lists, and why taking action and failing forward is more important than endlessly consuming educational content.
Brian also explains why new investors should ask experienced people for advice instead of asking them for money or to "pick their brain," how to get the most out of real estate meetups, why community can be more valuable than a mentor when you're starting out, and how to determine the best real estate strategy based on whether you have more time or money.
