SELLEST OSAST
Did you know that we, humans, are indeed insectivorous? This is perhaps the greatest irony of the cultural avoidance of edible insects. Dear listener, be ready because this episode will demonstrate to you the feasibility and value of insects as a sustainable commodity for food.
Dr. Aaron Dossey is the founder of All Things Bugs and the Invertebrate Studies Institute, and editor/author of the textbook Insects as sustainable food ingredients. Apart from that, he is the author of various scientific publications. In today's episode, we discuss how edible insects are produced, their historical relevance, the legislation of this new sector, and some other curious things such as insects as space food.
