SELLEST OSAST
TW: This episode we discuss childhood sexual trauma.
In this episode we discuss the power of EMDR therapy in helping individuals heal from traumatic experiences of the past! Holding trauma in your body causes visceral responses in the body. This therapy is one of the ways to get to the root and release it so that unexplained visceral responses stop happening.
In this episode we discuss the power of bilateral stimulation. This is actually what happens in my body alchemy sessions, with the eyes. It is fascinating to watch client's eyes begin to create this movement as they are processing through the session. It is part of why someone feels miraculously different when they get up from the table!
If you know of someone who would deeply benefit from EMDR therapy, send them this episode so that they can learn more about what it entails and decide for themselves if it would be a good route for them!
