SELLEST OSAST
In this episode of Enterprise Tech Talk, Saumitra Kalikar speaks with Surit Sethi about building and managing a modern data function.
Despite significant investment in data over the past decade, many organisations continue to struggle to translate data into meaningful business outcomes. This conversation explores why that gap persists and what needs to fundamentally change.
The discussion covers the evolving expectations from CIOs, CDOs, and boards, the dual role of data as both an asset and a liability, and the importance of clear ownership and embedded governance.
Surit also shares insights on operating model evolution, funding approaches, organisational data literacy, and the realities of scaling AI in enterprise environments.
This episode is particularly relevant for senior leaders looking to strengthen their organisation’s approach to data, risk, and decision-making.
