SELLEST OSAST
The Washington Commanders (3-7) go to Madrid to take on the Miami Dolphins (3-7) at 9:30am ET on NFL Network and NFL Plus. This is a must-win game for anyone that believes we still can have a shot at making the playoffs. A loss would end our season. We begin, as we always do, with the injury report for the game. The Commanders are without Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, Drake Jackson, Will Harris, Ale Kaho and Treylon Burks, while both Jordan Magee and Ben Sinnott are questionable for the game. On the other side, just Austin Jackson is missing for Miami, along with Tyreek Hill who has been missing the whole season with injury. The Commanders offense, featuring Marcus Mariota, will play a gettable Miami Dolphins defense that features Bradley Chubb and Minkah Fitzpatrick. How do we exploit this defense? While Deebo Samuel is our main receiving threat at the WR position, Miami actually struggles against TEs and RBs, so this presents a great opportunity for Zach Ertz, Bill Croskey-Merritt, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez. The Commanders defense goes against Tua Tagovailoa, De’Von Achane, Jaylen Waddle and this high-potential Dolphins offense that has been inconsistent throughout the season. On this side of the ball, the Commanders are now without Trey Amos (broken fibula) and Daron Payne (1 game suspension). How do we slow down Miami? The Commanders are “road” underdogs by 2.5 points and the over-under is 47.5 points. What is your prediction for this game? The Comment Mailbag features 5 comments.
