"Hailey was so down to clown," Libbie said when I asked what drew them together. Hailey and Libbie met in middle school and bonded over their love of getting into trouble. "It's not like we were skipping class," she continued, and Hailey interjected—"We were. We were. That's a lie!"
In a previous episode of Conversations with Friends, Salman remarked that all good friendships begin with a little bit of animosity.
