Michael Carmody: Cheers and welcome to Campy Hour. I'm your host, Michael Carmedy, and this week, rather than a traditional episode, I wanted to jump on for a few minutes to give the listeners a quick programming update. Season one of Campy Hour has officially wrapped, and it was an incredible experience. I want to thank our guests for being the heart of Campy Hour and for sharing their knowledge, their stories, and their laughs. I also want to thank our listeners for tuning in every week. Without you, this would be a pointless project, and I wanted to express my gratitude for all of the hours you've spent listening to this show. We'll be taking a short break before launching season two on September 1st. And at that time, we'll be starting a new release schedule for our episodes. The goal of the podcast has always been to shine a spotlight on the work of others and to increase familiarity among people in the industry. With that in mind, we're going to be moving to episodes releasing every other Tuesday. I've realized that these conversations deserve a little bit more room to breathe. And releasing every other week is gonna give our listeners more time to catch up. It's gonna give every episode a longer life and more time for that spotlight to shine on our guests. And it gives me more time to make sure that every conversation is the best that it can be. So, looking ahead to season two, we're gonna have more of the conversations with camp leaders that define campy hour as you know it. But we're also gonna be expanding into some new spaces. We'll be having conversations with camp-adjacent guests. Think professional memory makers and world builders outside of the realm of summer camps. These are people who are doing work that can inform the ideas and inspire new approaches to the programs. That summer camp professionals create. For example, in the first episode of season two, I'll be bringing you a one-on-one interview with former summer camp professional and current music superstar Lori Berkner, also known as the Queen of Kindie Rock. In that episode, we talk about creating memory-making experiences for children and parents. The power of music and educational spaces. And building, maintaining, and evolving a successful brand. One more note. As we continue to build season two, I'd love to hear from you, the listener. Is there a guest you've always wanted to hear from? A topic you'd like us to explore? A segment you've really enjoyed, or something you'd like to hear more of? Shoot me an email. I can be reached at makeitcampy at gmail.com. I read every email and I'd love your input. So, whether you've been here since season one or you just discovered Campy Hour a few weeks ago, thanks for making this first season something very special. I can't wait to share what's next. and I'll see you back here on September 1st for the start of season two. Cheers, everybody.
