Alec Bohm Is Proving Everyone Wrong — Plus Jayson Honors Tommy John's Legacy | Ep. 11

Jayson Werth and Devan Kaney open this episode reflecting on the passing of Tommy John, whose 1974 elbow surgery changed the trajectory of pitching careers forever. Jayson shares his perspective on John's legacy and what it means for the more than 2,600 professional baseball players who’ve had his eponymous procedure.

From there, the Phillies are heating up, and the two get into it: Alex Cora vs. Don Mattingly as a manager, Alec Bohm quieting his doubters with a big stretch of baseball, and Jayson makes his case for the Thoroughbred Championship Series (spoiler alert: that’s about horse racing).

PLUS, Jayson holds the line and refuses — again — to touch the Stassie and Kylie situation, and Devan finally comes clean about her White Sox fandom with a pope hat giveaway photo that needs some clarification. (It's a mitre. She knows now.)

Jamie Mottram from Breaking T also stops by with a new round of t-shirt pitches featuring baseball’s greatest cellys and staches.
