ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
This week on Triggered at Midwicket, TikTok’s very own Somerset superfan Danny joins Posh Girl Sophie & Trigger to rant about the latest talking point in English cricket — Marcus North’s appointment to the England selectors job. Will the former Australian international bring fresh ideas and a new direction to the England side, or will his Aussie roots eventually come back to haunt English cricket fans?
Danny also opens up about where his passion for cricket began, his huge admiration for Somerset wonderkid James Rew, and the players he believes should be selected for England’s first Test against New Zealand on June 4th.
The conversation then takes a more serious turn as the lads and lass discuss Harry Brook’s punishment following his altercation in New Zealand before Christmas last year, and whether comparisons can really be drawn to the infamous Freddie Flintoff incident that saw him lose the England captaincy.
Passion, opinions, debate, and plenty of cricket chaos — only on Triggered at Midwicket.
