00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:02.879
The Burning Budget Russia-Ukraine peace talks.
00:00:03.120 --> 00:00:06.480
ChatGPT convinces people to do god-awful things.
00:00:06.639 --> 00:00:10.240
The US sneaker criminal out of the UK before facing any questions.
00:00:10.400 --> 00:00:13.199
And Andrew Tate war in videos are leaked.
00:00:13.839 --> 00:00:15.599
Prosecutors are going to have fun with those.
00:00:15.759 --> 00:00:17.920
That plus more in today's episode.
00:00:22.800 --> 00:00:23.920
Well, hello everybody.
00:00:24.000 --> 00:00:25.920
It's Thursday, the 29th of October.
00:00:26.079 --> 00:00:28.079
Welcome to Trending wherever you are in the world.
00:00:28.160 --> 00:00:29.440
We're going to start in the UK.
00:00:29.519 --> 00:00:33.359
It was Andy Burnham's The Unelected, Andy Burnham's first budget yesterday.
00:00:33.520 --> 00:00:44.960
There was apprehension right across the country, which sums up the inversion of the government situations that we have across the world where people don't, you know, the government don't fear the people, the people fear the government.
00:00:45.039 --> 00:00:57.520
And people were sat wondering just how much more money, just how more difficult life was going to become, just how more difficult it was going to be to run a business, to fill your car up, to heat your home, to fill your fridge, and just to get by.
00:00:57.759 --> 00:01:03.759
Now, a lot of people were reading this as a fork in the road moment for this government.
00:01:04.000 --> 00:01:15.280
If they came at people very hard, that would be your massive sign that an imminent early called general election was very unlikely, because you don't try and call an election after you just screwed people.
00:01:15.519 --> 00:01:24.079
If there was a very friendly budget, or a more friendly budget, I should say, than recent times, that would be an insight that maybe an election is something to be called very soon.
00:01:24.319 --> 00:01:29.920
And compared to recent budgets, it was relatively friendly to larger numbers of people.
00:01:30.159 --> 00:01:36.879
Recent times, the two Rachel Reeves budgets and budgets before that, have been very aggressive to pretty much everyone.
00:01:37.120 --> 00:01:41.280
Whereas this one didn't really say or do anything, to be honest.
00:01:41.519 --> 00:01:44.560
It kept the welfare budget completely out of control.
00:01:44.959 --> 00:01:52.000
It didn't talk about anything to do with immigration and trying to curb the numbers of people coming into the UK.
00:01:52.159 --> 00:01:54.560
There's no tax breaks for people struggling.
00:01:54.640 --> 00:01:56.400
There's no tax breaks for businesses.
00:01:56.560 --> 00:01:59.359
There's obviously no tax breaks as all tax rises.
00:01:59.439 --> 00:02:02.719
There's just less of them than many people perhaps predicted.
00:02:03.120 --> 00:02:18.319
So what may happen from here is that Labour will call an early election because there's going to be a bit of sympathy and a bit of a bounce as a result of this budget, where people are saying happy, they're relieved that it's not quite as bad as they perhaps thought it could be.
00:02:18.479 --> 00:02:26.240
So now's the time for them to go to the electorate and try and get a mandate to get another five years, and which point they can do what the hell they want.
00:02:26.400 --> 00:02:30.560
We saw this with the two Rachel Reeves budgets in the Starmer government.
00:02:30.719 --> 00:02:35.360
They won the election in 2024 based on certain promises.
00:02:35.520 --> 00:02:38.800
They've come in and they've done the exact opposite.
00:02:38.960 --> 00:02:42.400
If they came and told you the truth at the election, then they wouldn't have got in.
00:02:42.639 --> 00:02:46.960
But once they get in and they get that five-year mandate, they can basically do whatever they want.
00:02:47.120 --> 00:02:49.120
They don't have to face the electorate.
00:02:49.280 --> 00:02:55.680
Okay, Starmer might have um carried the can and he might have gone, but Burnham's come in and replaced him and done what?
00:02:55.919 --> 00:02:57.199
What's he done differently?
00:02:57.360 --> 00:03:01.599
He's carried on exactly the same thing, said lots of things and done very little.
00:03:01.759 --> 00:03:05.520
So let's just take a quick glance at what was in the budget.
00:03:05.919 --> 00:03:15.759
A one off hundred pound payment for over 20 million households in the UK in council tax bans A to D to help with rising energy costs.
00:03:15.919 --> 00:03:21.039
Now that people will say sounds great, and on one level, it does.
00:03:21.199 --> 00:03:27.360
Whether it actually helps people compared to the cost of energy for the whole winter, I don't think it will.
00:03:27.520 --> 00:03:30.960
So that brings us to the bigger question of why are energy prices so high?
00:03:31.120 --> 00:03:33.840
Well, they're so high because of the tax rates on them.
00:03:34.000 --> 00:03:38.080
They're so high because Britain has ridiculous net zero policies.
00:03:38.319 --> 00:03:40.000
And I was staggered to believe.
00:03:40.080 --> 00:03:42.560
So earlier this year, right, I was in Norway.
00:03:42.639 --> 00:03:48.719
Um, I was in Oslo for about three days, and obviously it was freezing, it was January, so it was very, very cold.
00:03:48.879 --> 00:03:54.719
And Norway is a very oil-rich country, but it has incredibly high energy prices as well.
00:03:54.879 --> 00:03:56.479
And I remember being really confused by that.
00:03:56.639 --> 00:04:00.240
So asking my friend who I was over there with and said, Why?
00:04:00.479 --> 00:04:16.480
Um and he was telling me about the way that the oil system works in the country, where the oil is produced in Norway, it's then sold on the international market, and then the country buys it back at the price that is dictated by the international market.
00:04:18.399 --> 00:04:39.360
So just to compare that to another real life situation, that's the equivalent of me growing my own food, selling that food to the supermarket chains, and then buying it back at the same price that everyone else is paying that isn't growing the food.
00:04:40.879 --> 00:04:44.959
Surely the whole point, I think most people would look at that and go, that's absolutely insane.
00:04:45.279 --> 00:04:53.360
Because surely the point is that by producing your own stuff, you save that cost and that expense, and you're in control of your own destiny.
00:04:53.680 --> 00:04:58.399
That's why so many people do grow their own food because it keeps you in control of your own supply chain.
00:04:58.560 --> 00:05:04.079
If you're in a nation that's producing its own energy resources, you're not beholden then to anybody else.
00:05:04.160 --> 00:05:16.319
So this energy crisis that we're seeing across the world at the moment, that they're blaming on the war in Iran, started by the US and Israel, you're not susceptible to things like that because you produce your own.
00:05:16.480 --> 00:05:17.920
You can bypass all of that.
00:05:18.000 --> 00:05:26.319
While everyone else is running around like headless chickens trying to retain energy security, you can take care of yours without anyone else getting involved.
00:05:26.639 --> 00:05:29.600
That is true freedom for a nation.
00:05:29.839 --> 00:05:32.639
Well, Britain has energy resources and the ability to do that.
00:05:32.800 --> 00:05:34.480
It doesn't, obviously.
00:05:35.199 --> 00:05:44.240
Instead, it has ridiculous net zero policies, and it doesn't explore its own oil fields or gas fields until very recently, where a few have been signed off on.
00:05:44.800 --> 00:06:01.279
This is essentially the government saying we'll help you out a little bit, not properly, we'll help you out a little bit to solve a problem that we've caused, or we have continually over centuries, sorry, um decades caused by not doing certain things differently.
00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:03.360
Utterly astonishing.
00:06:03.519 --> 00:06:05.120
Utterly astonishing.
00:06:05.759 --> 00:06:07.759
Okay, so other taxes.
00:06:08.000 --> 00:06:13.519
There's been a 2% extra tax on income from savings and property rental.
00:06:13.680 --> 00:06:19.839
So if people have money and that money accrues interest in the bank, then they're going to be paying more rates on that savings.
00:06:20.160 --> 00:06:21.600
Property rentals the same.
00:06:21.680 --> 00:06:27.759
There's going to be rises on people that are raising money from are earning money, I should say, from properties that they are letting out.
00:06:28.639 --> 00:06:34.000
Um, the amount people can put into cash ISIS will remain at£20,000 rather than being lowered.
00:06:34.079 --> 00:06:35.120
That's a good thing.
00:06:35.279 --> 00:06:37.839
Um, so that's a positive thing, I suppose.
00:06:37.920 --> 00:06:39.279
You could you could argue.
00:06:39.439 --> 00:06:50.720
Um, new flat rate on pensions, new tax uh allowance for low-income pensioners, the legal minimum wage is going to rise by three rise to by 3.9% in April.
00:06:50.879 --> 00:06:56.639
Again, you'd probably say that's a good thing because it means businesses are not going to be able to exploit workers.
00:06:56.720 --> 00:06:58.959
So you could argue that a lot of these decisions are good.
00:06:59.040 --> 00:07:08.079
And the one policy I actually really like is that parental pay or paternity leave, as they're calling it, to self-employed fathers and parents will continue.
00:07:08.240 --> 00:07:10.319
Sorry, we'll be started for the first time.
00:07:10.560 --> 00:07:13.279
At the moment, you only get that if you're employed.
00:07:13.519 --> 00:07:14.639
So that's a good thing.
00:07:14.720 --> 00:07:15.680
I like that.
00:07:16.079 --> 00:07:19.600
The rest of it is a bit of a a bit of a nothing.
00:07:19.759 --> 00:07:25.279
And that to me is just a sign that this election that I talked about a few minutes ago is imminent.
00:07:25.360 --> 00:07:36.160
They're trying to buy time for people, they're trying to get people back on side, they're trying to show that they might be different to Rachel Reeves and her two budgets that just attacked pretty much everyone.
00:07:36.720 --> 00:07:39.600
And are we going to fall for the scam?
00:07:39.680 --> 00:07:40.240
I know I'm not.
00:07:40.319 --> 00:07:44.319
I know most of you watching this program certainly won't because you've seen through this all before.
00:07:44.560 --> 00:07:50.800
Politicians will tell you whatever they need to tell you to get in the door, and then when they get in the door, they will do whatever their masters tell them to do.
00:07:50.879 --> 00:08:04.879
And if anyone doesn't think Andy Burnham and his government is owned by the same people that owned Boris Johnson, that owned Rishi Sunak, that owned Kia Starmer, that owned Tony Blair, that owned David Cameron, then I'd say naivety is the disease you're suffering with.
00:08:05.120 --> 00:08:10.160
Burnham has been brought in to do a job, and that job is not to save Britain.
00:08:10.319 --> 00:08:21.759
That job is not to make people more prosperous and wealthy and safer, to close borders, to give energy security, to improve education, to improve healthcare.
00:08:21.839 --> 00:08:23.680
That's not Burnham's remit.
00:08:23.839 --> 00:08:27.680
Burnham's remit is to continue to destroy the country.
00:08:27.920 --> 00:08:37.600
Now, I'm only just going to touch on this because later on today I'm doing chinwag with David, which will come out at five o'clock tonight, and we're going to dive into this extensively.
00:08:37.759 --> 00:08:40.639
But I just want to talk a little bit about national debt.
00:08:40.799 --> 00:08:48.000
Now, pretty much every country has national debt, and that's essentially the same as personal debt.
00:08:48.159 --> 00:08:51.600
It's it's debt that the government have to banks.
00:08:51.759 --> 00:08:57.360
That's not including and does not factor in the debt of individuals within that country.
00:08:57.519 --> 00:09:05.279
So when they talk about national debt, that doesn't include, say, the mortgage I've got or you've got or the car finance you've got or the personal loan that somebody's got.
00:09:05.440 --> 00:09:07.840
It's literally just government debt.
00:09:08.639 --> 00:09:17.600
Now, it took centuries, literally centuries, for the government to reach one trillion pound of national debt.
00:09:17.759 --> 00:09:28.799
It took roughly a decade to get to the second trillion, and it's taken six years to get to now three trillion pounds of national debt.
00:09:29.600 --> 00:09:34.720
And more than 100% of the tax receipts of the country in a given year.
00:09:35.360 --> 00:09:47.039
And what's also astonishing is the government are spending roughly 10% of all the income that it gets just to service that debt, just to pay the interest to make sure it doesn't rise.
00:09:47.919 --> 00:09:52.559
That's not taking any off the top, that's just servicing it.
00:09:53.039 --> 00:10:02.799
And obviously they're adding to this debt all the time in insane numbers, hence why it's gone from one trillion to two to three in such a short period of time.
00:10:05.120 --> 00:10:06.480
What's going on?
00:10:07.039 --> 00:10:08.799
They're bankrupting the nation.
00:10:08.960 --> 00:10:17.279
And they're not just bankrupting this nation, you could the same thing is going on in the USA, the same thing is going on in pretty much every nation across the world.
00:10:18.240 --> 00:10:32.399
So why are countries, why are nation states that could produce their own currencies, that could print their own money, could create their own monetary system that works for that nation, why are they borrowing money from banks?
00:10:33.200 --> 00:10:45.600
I've said this before a few times, that the entire system is built on the fractional reserve lending banking model, which builds into the game.
00:10:46.399 --> 00:10:50.399
People losing everything, people not being able to pay back.
00:10:52.720 --> 00:10:59.759
Until that is dealt with, until a politician comes out and speaks about that, we're just going to be playing the same game.
00:11:00.080 --> 00:11:03.840
Maybe people will play it slightly differently, but it's still going to be the same game.
00:11:04.799 --> 00:11:10.559
National debt is not being done by incompetence, maybe in some areas.
00:11:10.879 --> 00:11:13.039
This is being done by on purpose.
00:11:13.279 --> 00:11:16.320
This is being done to bankrupt the nation.
00:11:17.039 --> 00:11:18.799
Completely destroy it.
00:11:19.279 --> 00:11:21.759
And destroy the West along with it.
00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:24.240
Because as I say, this is not just Britain.
00:11:24.639 --> 00:11:27.679
This is in other parts of the world as well, if not every nation.
00:11:29.440 --> 00:11:41.840
What kind of stupidity or what kind of manipulation have you got to be a part of to create such a absolutely ridiculous, chaotic outcome?
00:11:42.399 --> 00:11:49.759
Well, government after successive government, Chancellor after chancellor, continue to do the same thing and follow the same path.
00:11:50.000 --> 00:11:59.759
Hence why, in 16 years, we've gone from one trillion, which is already insane, to three trillion.
00:12:00.879 --> 00:12:02.960
And who's gonna pay the can for it?
00:12:04.320 --> 00:12:05.600
The people, of course.
00:12:06.159 --> 00:12:10.399
Not the people that have made the horrendous decisions that have led to it.
00:12:11.120 --> 00:12:12.480
Where's Rachel Reeves?
00:12:12.559 --> 00:12:13.679
Where's Jeremy Hunt?
00:12:14.080 --> 00:12:21.360
Where's these people that were in charge or chancellors in the last six years that have created that extra trillion pounds worth of debt?
00:12:21.440 --> 00:12:21.759
Where are they?
00:12:21.840 --> 00:12:22.639
Are they in prison?
00:12:22.879 --> 00:12:24.879
Are they facing the consequences for their actions?
00:12:25.120 --> 00:12:25.440
No.
00:12:26.480 --> 00:12:27.679
But the people are.
00:12:28.480 --> 00:12:30.000
That is always the way.
00:12:30.240 --> 00:12:39.600
But as I say, myself and David are gonna dive much deeper into that particular story and uh the whole concept of national debt and debt in today's episode of Chinwag, along with many other things.
00:12:39.679 --> 00:12:42.879
So tune into that at five o'clock on iconic.com.
00:12:43.039 --> 00:12:44.159
That's it for the free version.
00:12:44.240 --> 00:12:47.519
If you're watching with us on YouTube or Twitter, thank you for joining me.
00:12:47.759 --> 00:12:54.080
If you come and join us on iconic.com, we're gonna talk about peace talks that are apparently imminent between Russia and Ukraine.
00:12:54.159 --> 00:13:01.519
We're gonna talk about ChatGPT and the more, even more bizarre things it's convincing people to do and just how dangerous and sinister that is.
00:13:01.600 --> 00:13:13.440
We're gonna talk about the US and how they smuggled out a diplomat, who wasn't really a diplomat, from the US Embassy in Britain, who was uh uh arrested and looking to be questioned by the Metropolitan Police.
00:13:13.519 --> 00:13:15.759
Well, he was snuck out of the country before they could do that.
00:13:15.919 --> 00:13:23.440
And finally, we're gonna talk about a war room video from Andrew Tate that has emerged, which shows you just how dark this man really is.
00:13:23.600 --> 00:13:25.200
I'll see you on iconic.
00:13:28.320 --> 00:13:33.440
Even less is said about the Grey Pope, who some believe to be the true ruling power in the Vatican.
00:13:33.679 --> 00:13:35.360
Humans are missing a macadress.
00:13:35.759 --> 00:13:38.000
All of them had little signals.
00:13:38.240 --> 00:13:39.440
I've never seen it before.
00:13:42.080 --> 00:13:44.799
This is the ultimate suicide cultural.
00:13:44.960 --> 00:13:48.960
What if the symbols around us every day aren't just ornamental?
00:13:49.120 --> 00:13:50.639
We have to think of these of these things.
00:13:50.799 --> 00:13:52.159
What if they're instructions?
