Captain Marvel | Blockbuster, Flerkens, and Resting Villain Face

Before the Avengers could reach the Endgame, the MCU took a trip back to the 1990s to introduce one of its most powerful heroes.

In this episode, we revisit Captain Marvel and discuss Carol Danvers’ fractured memories, the Kree and Skrull conflict, the movie’s twist on heroes and villains, and whether the film gives newcomers enough context to follow its cosmic mythology. We also break down young Nick Fury, Goose the Flerken, the Blockbuster nostalgia, Jude Law’s resting villain face, and the question that continues to challenge the MCU: Is Captain Marvel simply too powerful?

Plus, we debate whether the movie works better on a rewatch, how effectively it leads into Avengers: Endgame, and whether Carol Danvers should have been introduced earlier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
