ox Tungsten CEO Steve Gray joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on initial assay results from the company’s fully funded 20,000-metre 2026 drill programme at the Fox Tungsten Project in British Columbia.
The first results cover 18 holes from this year’s campaign, with resource expansion drilling at the RC South Zone confirming multiple intervals of tungsten mineralization, including several higher-grade zones. Approximately 52 holes have now been completed, with drilling expected to continue through late October and additional assays to be released as results are received.
Gray said the RC South drilling continues to demonstrate tungsten mineralization along the southern extension of the RC Zone. The results have identified broader mineralized intervals containing higher-grade tungsten zones, supporting what the company sees as a strong geological connection between the BN and RC zones.
The ongoing resource expansion work is aimed at improving the understanding and continuity of the mineralized system while potentially expanding the project’s existing resource base.
Fox North, an emerging exploration target west of the BK Zone, has also provided valuable geological information. Previous drilling identified multiple intervals containing visible scheelite, including several previously unrecognized parallel zones.
While the initial Fox North assays did not return significant tungsten grades, Gray said the drilling has provided important geological information from an underexplored area. The results will help the company refine its geological model and identify potential targets for future exploration.
With drilling continuing into late October, Fox Tungsten expects additional assay results from the 2026 programme to provide further insight into the scale, continuity and grade distribution of tungsten mineralization across the Fox Project.
