ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 2 is approaching its finale, but the drama is nowhere near cooling down. In RHOM Season 2, Episode 14, “Surrounded by Hot Water,” the fallout from the infamous Rodolfo article continues to divide the Miami Housewives, while Karent Sierra is dealing with a serious family emergency and Lea Black and Marysol Patton finally come face-to-face over their increasingly complicated friendship.
In this Real Housewives of Miami Season 2 Episode 14 recap, we're breaking down the tension between Karent Sierra and Alexia Echevarria, the continuing fallout surrounding Rodolfo Jiménez, the emotional situation facing Karent's family, and the explosive confrontation between Lea Black and Marysol Patton.
After the controversial Rodolfo article causes even more questions about Karent's relationship, Alexia Echevarria is determined to plead her case to Karent. Alexia wants Karent to understand her side of the situation, but Karent isn't exactly in the mood to listen. And with a family emergency suddenly taking priority, the Housewives' usual social drama gets pushed aside for something much more serious.
Meanwhile, Lea Black and Marysol Patton finally hash out their issues over a special dinner—and let's just say this is not exactly a peaceful Housewives dinner party. Their disagreement brings up past business dealings and questions about who legitimizes whom, turning what should have been a nice evening into another major confrontation. Bravo's own episode material highlights the two women going head-to-head over their history.
We'll also check in with Lisa Hochstein, who continues to deal with her pregnancy struggles and opens up to Lea about the frustration surrounding her fertility issues. It's another reminder that underneath all the champagne, designer clothes, parties, and Miami social drama, the women are dealing with very real personal challenges.
And then there's Karent, who is desperate to get to her father but discovers that there are no flights available. Her family emergency puts all of the Housewives drama into perspective and gives the episode a much more emotional tone than some of the explosive episodes that came before it.
