ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
Anusha and Emma are back, and this week we’re talking about LAW. And women in law. And laws that have done things to women (and people). Dun dun (Law and Order SVU Sound effect)
Emma goes first this week, and reintroduces us to American lawyer, jurist, and associate justice of the Supreme Court: the Notorious RBG. Ruth Bader Ginsburg. We talk the constitution, the 14th amendment, and Suits. Anusha then takes us waaaay out left, and we talk about the Salem Witch Trials. Specifically about Tituba, Sarah Good, and Sarah Osborne, and the effects of one of the biggest cases of mass hysteria in the USA. We find out that due process is a beautiful thing, that we are not going to fact check anything about physics, and see that it’s insane that neither of us talked about Elle Woods. At all.
