ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
In this episode of Memorizing Scripture, we dive into James 1:14-15:
"But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death."
Join Gordon as he explores the origin of temptation and desire. Are all desires bad? What does it mean to be enticed by our own desires? We unpack the Greek word epithumia (an impure or lustful desire) and how it relates to sin and temptation. This episode reminds us of the importance of taking responsibility for our desires and turning to Jesus for forgiveness and strength.
