IN THE TUNNEL | BOURNEMOUTH V ASTON VILLA | CAN WE KEEP THIS CUP RUN GOING?

Four wins on the bounce, seven unbeaten now we head to Bournemouth with a Carabao Cup quarter-final place on the line.Join me for IN THE TUNNEL as we look ahead to Bournemouth v Aston Villa at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday 28 October, kick-off 7.45pm GMT.We’re coming off that brilliant 2–1 win over Manchester City, but this is a different test. Marco Rose’s Bournemouth have had a difficult league start while winning their first three Europa League games, including a 3–0 victory over AC Milan.I’ll look at the threats from Evanilson, Justin Kluivert and Marcus Tavernier, what their recent shape tells us, and how we can get through their pressure without leaving ourselves exposed. For us, it’s about keeping our midfield connected and getting Mbaye and Jackson combining quickly when the space opens up.There’s also the selection question. How much do we change after City, with Fulham coming up on Saturday? I’ll share my proposed Villa XI and explain the thinking.Who makes your starting XI, and what’s your prediction?
