ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
Founder of The Sharp Mind, psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, breathwork facilitator, and psychedelic-assisted therapy practitioner Rebecca Sharp joins Geoff for a deeply honest conversation about trauma, identity, motherhood, healing, and what it truly means to come home to yourself.
Rebecca opens up about growing up in a family of Holocaust survivors, the generational trauma that shaped her nervous system, and what it has felt like being a Jewish Australian in today’s climate. She speaks candidly about the fear, hypervigilance, and loss of safety many Jewish Australians are currently experiencing in Sydney following rising antisemitism and global conflict — and how those experiences can reawaken intergenerational trauma carried through families for decades.
From chronic hypervigilance and shame to learning how to feel safe in her own body, this episode explores the long road back to authenticity and wholeness.
Together, Geoff and Rebecca unpack adoption, motherhood, psychedelics, emotional healing, nervous system work, and the process of integrating the parts of ourselves we once tried to hide. Rebecca also shares the beautiful story of adopting her daughter — a journey that resonates deeply with Geoff, who was also adopted at birth.
This episode is vulnerable, powerful, and full of wisdom around healing, connection, and learning to fully embrace who you are.
