ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
Lewis and Callum kick off Game Idea with a brilliantly ill-advised Challenge: make a game together, one chapter at a time with no planning, alternating weekly.
A mystery wheel spin crowns Callum as Chapter One author, and he introduces us to Detective Marcas Hale at Blackthrone Manor where Ethan Cole supposedly died in a freak accident by an invention. Marcia’s dramatic ‘will reveal’ goes wrong when the document he triumphantly retrieves from a grandfather clock turns out to be an old newsletter celebrating the housekeeper Victor Kane ever-breaking record the. Enter Hales new partner Dr Amelia Graves who produces the real will - painstakingly pieced back together after begin ripped up - and raises the stakes with a bombshell: Ethan Cole may not have died accidentally after all. The chapter ends with the household summons to the study, now an official crime scene, as Lewis prepares for chapter take over Chapter Two with a major plot point, a chapter deep- dive and a scene of conflict.
Lewis and Callum are making a game….together. They alternate chapters in a bid to create a gripping murder mystery. The catch? They have completely different ideas about the game should be.
Hosted by Lewis Smurthwaite and Callum Porter, each has just one week to continue the game - reacting, escalating and derailing and occasionally rescuing the plot from the other.
What starts as a simple premise becomes a competitive, unpredictable battle of twists, cliffhangers and a creative one-upmanship
Part comedy show, part audiobook, part social experiment - and by the end of it there’s a complete original game, made in real time.
Welcome to the game.
