New Hampshire lawmakers are considering a program that would give taxpayer dollars to families to pay for tuition at private and parochial schools.
The lack of face-to-face interactions through the pandemic created complications for students in a school that specializes in addiction recovery and is built on a close-knit, direct model of learning and support. On Monday, the school is set to resume a fully in-person schedule.
The pause in school, forced by pandemic health restrictions, also meant a pause in discipline — and a sometimes painful cycle of discomfort, mistrust and recurrent misbehavior.
Most students in Massachusetts will be putting virtual learning behind them next year. But for some students in rural parts of the state who want to take AP courses, remote classes will be the only option.
