ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
Fresh off of Fat Wreck Chords' Live in a Dive release, we’re joined by Rich Kids on LSD bassist Joe Raposo!
Joe gives us the full story of RKL - the good, the bad, and the flat out ugly. From toddlers on tour buses to multiple breakups and reformations, this is the true history of one of punk rocks greatest diamonds in the rough. Joe also puts some longstanding rumors to rest, including whether or not actor Josh Brolin was actually a part of the band.
This 2 hour epic episode also allows us to dive into Joe’s life outside of music. Joe shares a recipe for his signature cocktail, and discusses his work in the video game industry. We also learn about Joe’s current project, Mixtape Social Music, and how the company has taken a punk rock approach to launch. Oh yeah, did we mention Lagwagon? Well, Joe also plays in Lagwagon. So buckle up and get ready for an episode that will take you in every single one of life’s directions!
We also learn on this episode:
- How to steal your brother’s guitar & amp
- Who became Joe’s legal guardian during the RKL days
- Why Joe got kicked out of Lagwagon (and how he got back in the band)
- How the Live in a Dive recordings became unearthed
