ACERCA DE ESTE EPISODIO
As Black bisexual women, ELL and DEE know firsthand the double-edged sword of bi erasure and biphobia. In this episode, they dive deep into their lived experiences, confronting the societal norms and misrepresentations that have challenged their identities, with examples of representation like the television series "The L Word". They tackle common myths surrounding bisexuality (like "it's just the male gaze" or that bisexuality doesn’t exist), discussing the mental health impact of these falsehoods. This powerful conversation also highlights the strength found within community, their acceptance of fluidity in their own lives, and advocates for embracing each unique bisexual journey and celebrates the freedom and power that it brings. Get ready for an insightful and authentic exploration of bisexuality that is designed to help others on the same path of identity to live confidently and true to their identity.
