Electro House BackSpin: 2009 - 2010 Volume 8

This Electro House mix is BackSpin’s Millennial-era survey of club-ready pop and remixed dance hits from 2009–2010, assembled for a near three-hour party set. Expect Funky House edges and peak-time club edits that turn radio anthems into floor magnets. Highlights include reworks that dominated DJ crates: Katy Perry’s California Gurls (Liam Keegan Electro Remix), Madonna’s Celebration (Oakenfold Remix), and Robyn’s Dancing On My Own (Buzz Junkies Club Mix). The set leans on heavyweight remixers — Dave Audé appears across multiple tracks, Chew Fu and David Guetta supply darker club turns, and rising EDM names like Avicii & Sebastien Drums close with an original mix. The tracklist bridges pop and club culture with energetic edits from Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, and Tiesto collaborations, making this volume a concise time capsule of how mainstream pop met electro and funky house at the turn of the 2010s.
