Welcome back to the Comicast!
Prepare for a cosmic journey into the depths of the unknown with Jeff, Madison, Sam, and special guest Eva in this episode dedicated to "Outer Darkness" Volumes 1 and 2. Join us as we delve into the brilliantly dark and imaginative universe crafted by writer John Layman, and brought to vivid life by Afu Chan. In this spacefaring horror series, Captain Joshua Rigg and the crew of the starship Charon navigate not only the vast reaches of outer space but also the supernatural threats lurking within. Layman's gripping storytelling and Chan's hauntingly detailed art combine to create a chilling narrative that seamlessly blends science fiction, horror, and the occult. Join us as we unravel the cosmic mysteries of "Outer Darkness" Volumes 1 and 2 and pay homage to the talents of Layman and Chan in this episode dedicated to a cosmic horror odyssey like no other.
As we are nearing the holidays, finals, and baby births, we're going to be taking some time off! Knowing this time of year gets busy, we are only recording one episode for the month of December, which will cover volumes one and two of Jason Aaron's "The Goddamned." Check back in a few weeks for the last episode of 2023.
Requests are coming in through our socials below - follow us and leave a request or recommendation for a book for us to read for a future episode! We're also opening up our Discord to the community to continue the conversation!
