Ride Safe Waukee: Understanding the New E-Bike Rules

This week on the Waukee Podcast, Police Chief Chad McCluskey and Heather Behrens explain Waukee's new regulations for e-bikes, e-motos, scooters and other personal transportation devices. Many of the rules were already in place, but the new ordinance provides much-needed clarity about where different devices can be ridden, what licenses and registrations are required and how the rules will be enforced. The City has created an excellent resource for riders and parents at waukee.org/1230/Ride-Safe.

Dr. Godar from The Iowa Clinic also joins us for an important conversation about hormone therapy, women's health and the lifestyle habits that can help all of us age gracefully. Jamie Thompson starts the show with What's Up Waukee and plenty of ways to stay cool while enjoying the weekend. It's another informative episode connecting our community one voice at a time.
