ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Gothic horror? Occult rituals? Vampires? And… a whole lot of Euro sleaze? Yeah—you already know this one’s going to get wild.
In this episode, we’re diving into The Devil’s Wedding Night, a surreal, seductive, and completely unhinged slice of 70s European horror directed by Luigi Batzella (aka Paolo Solvay).
Starring the stunning Rosalba Neri as the hypnotic Countess and Mark Damon in a dual role as twin brothers caught in a supernatural nightmare, this film blends vampire lore, erotic ritual, and pure chaos into one unforgettable experience.
We break down:
The bizarre plot involving the legendary Ring of the Nibelungen
Twin brothers, vampires, and total narrative madness
The influence of Euro horror legends like Jess Franco, Dario Argento, and Sergio Martino
The sleazy brilliance of cinematographer Joe D’Amato
And why this might be one of the most entertainingly absurd vampire films of the 1970s
From eerie castles to hypnotic blood rituals, this one leans ALL the way into style, atmosphere, and exploitation-era insanity.
If you’re into cult horror, Euro sleaze, and the wild side of vampire cinema… you’re in the right place.
