ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Welcome to another edition of “That’s Entertainment, with No… Not Them.”I’m Chris Brown — no, not that Chris Brown — although every time I introduce myself, at least one person instinctively hides their phone. And with me as always, is Mike Nichols — not the acclaimed director of The Graduate, The Birdcage, or Working Girl. This Mike Nichols once yelled ‘action’ during a family barbecue, and nobody listened.Elon Musk is attacking Christopher Nolan over the casting choices for The Odyssey. Which is interesting, because Elon looked at a three-hour mythological epic and thought, “You know what this needs? More tweets.”Then we’ll ask: do celebrity biographies put rose-coloured glasses on controversial stars? Or are publishers just hoping readers confuse “deeply flawed” with “misunderstood genius”?Then, following in the footsteps of Clint Eastwood, Sonny Bono, Al Franken, Will Rogers, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jerry Springer, Tina Keeper, and Lenore Zann, the Hollywood Hills may be on the brink — as of recording this — of electing a former reality star as Mayor of Los Angeles.Because apparently Americans looked at politics and said, “You know what this needs? More confessionals and immunity challenges.”Then, in Toronto, hometown superstar Drake pulled off a massive publicity stunt by “freezing” the CN Tower to promote his new album Iceman.Though in fairness, Canadians saw a frozen tower and just assumed someone forgot to pay the heating bill again.Stick around — we’ll be right back.***************************************************Follow Us On Social Media: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crossborderpodcast/Threads: https://www.threads.net/@crossborderpodcast Blusky: https://bsky.app/profile/crossbordernetwork.bsky.socialFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/CrossBorderInterviews/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/company/crossborderinterviews/ Website: https://www.crossborderinterviews.ca/Thats Entertinament is Part of the Cross Border Network© 2026
