ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
In this episode of Strength From Service, we sit down with Heather Gordon, a Saint Peter, Minnesota native whose journey is marked by service, struggle, and redemption.
Heather shares how her time in the military and experiences overseas, including trauma during her assignment in Guam, deeply impacted her life. After leaving the service, she found herself in a downward spiral that many veterans quietly face. Through honesty and courage, Heather opens up about what recovery really looked like for her and the work it took to reclaim her life.
Today, Heather is helping lead the charge for women at Bravo Zulu House, advocating for healing, accountability, and a path forward for women veterans battling PTSD, addiction, and life after service.
This is a powerful conversation about resilience, responsibility, and what it means to keep serving — even after the uniform comes off.
