Podcast Description:
What does Jesus mean when he says to store up treasures in heaven? In this message from Matthew 6, Mike walks through one of the most misunderstood teachings in the Sermon on the Mount — and what it actually demands of how we live, spend, and invest our lives.
This sermon was recorded in Avrig, Romania, during a Storyline Missions training trip partnering with Romanian believers to equip and send indigenous missionaries to unreached people groups. The setting isn’t incidental. Hearing a message about eternal treasure in a country where the church is actively sending its own people to the nations puts the text in sharp relief.
What you store up reveals what you actually believe about eternity.
Keywords naturally included: Sermon on the Mount, store up treasures in heaven, Matthew 6, missions, unreached people groups, Romania missions, indigenous missionaries, Christian podcast, expository preaching
