ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Why do the greatest leaders of the Jewish people always seem like outsiders?
In this profound exploration of Parshat Bamidbar, Rav Lebish Hundert takes us from the technical laws of Eruv Tavshilin to the heart of the "Lost Sheep"—the cry of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.
As we prepare for Shavuot and look at the census of the tribes in the desert, we discover a startling paradox: the most elevated souls—Moshe, Yosef, and Levi—stayed "outside" the traditional camp structures. Rav Lebish delves into:
The Eruv of the Soul: Understanding Kedusha Achas (One Holiness) and how we bridge the gap between our "good days" and our source.
The Outsider’s Advantage: Why Moshe Rabbeinu’s lack of a traditional "Palace education" allowed him to lead a nation of individuals.
The Lost Sheep (Torah 206): A deep dive into Rebbe Nachman’s teaching on Taisi Keseh Oved—why feeling lost is often the first step toward being found by the Infinite.
Higher Love (Ahava Sheb’Da’at): Moving beyond conditional "if-then" spirituality into the unconditional embrace of Shabbat.
Whether you are feeling "lost in the desert" or seeking a deeper connection to the upcoming holiday of Shavuot, this shiur offers a map for the soul that values the journey as much as the destination.
A gut shabbos!
