ÜBER DIESE EPISODE
Welcome to 🌈Queering Arthur👑, our second episode of the podcast, where you can join us in exploring ✨queer interpretations🧠 of 🫅🏾Nennius' History of The Britons📜. Context in this episode includes: the Arthur-like figure in Welsh poetry, the shared identity of the native Brythonic people as Cymru (from Latin for compatriots), the centuries of wars between the Anglo-Saxons invaders and the native Cymraeg (Welsh) people, Offa's Dyke, Bangor Cathedral, manuscript culture, the significance of the number 12, and the 'War Leader' (Dux Bellorum).
