The Mysterious Case of the Amherst Ghost
This week, Lydia and Declan travel back to 1878 to uncover the terrifying story of Esther Cox and what has been called one of the most violent poltergeist cases in history.
From mysterious knocks and threatening messages appearing on walls to fires, flying objects and physical attacks, whatever followed Esther Cox seemed determined to make itself known.
Was Esther really being tormented by a violent entity? Was there another explanation? Or did something truly unexplainable take over a small house in Amherst, Nova Scotia?
Join us as we dive into the evidence, theories and seriously bizarre events surrounding the Amherst Mystery.
And because this is Phasmaphobes, somehow along the way Lydia gives an in-depth review of her favourite water and we discover what Declan looks like in a corset.
